We're gonna give this another grow. This time around I've upgraded the lighting to a 600w MH/HPS combo and the ladies are in a 4x4 vivosun tent. These girls have been planted in Blue Sky organics super soil with a mix of worm castings so I won't require any further nutrients for awhile because of the contents of the soil. Shout out to Aztech Genetics for the Five Gallon fabric pots I will be using for this grow.
Weekly Update: We've got three White Rhino and One OG Kush. One of the White Rhinos is a couple days behind from being planted a little too deep. Everything germinated and we are through the first week. Currently have the wattage set at 250 and will up the power in the next couple weeks. Been watering everyday but mainly trying to keep the soil fairly dry and correct my overwatering issues from last grow. Originally had the distance of the lights sitting around 25 inches but I noticed them getting a little stretchy so I brought the lights down to 20 inches.

Things are moving along pretty smoothly, haven't experienced any issues....yet. Day Two of this week I harvested some Horsetail and added it to it's watering. Just heated the bunch of horsetail in water on the stove for a few minutes and allowed it to cool before feeding the ladies. Started to see a little more growth towards the end of the week now that the root system is more established.

This week we started to experience some issues. Looked like the plants were burning a bit so I raised the light to sit at 36 inches now and increased the power to 400w. The increase in power has raised the heat in the tent so I've been opening more bottom vents to allow more cool air to flow in. Will need to monitor the situation going forward. Also switched out the oscillating fan for my trusty clip fan. One of the girls was blowing so hard she was LSTing herself to stay away from the fan. Knew at this point it was time for a swap. Since these changes the girls have been loving life and I continue to just add water. Going to need to pick up some organic fertilizer for flower though. Will continue to keep this updated.

atm everything looks fine.... you are going to need your extra 200 watts for the Flowering stage. Using it before? i see no big need. Look how she develops and always shows a good internodial distance. I dont know how big your growspace is but 400 watts HID should be enough for a growingspace like 2x3 feet..... so keep your girlin your eye.. if she start to grow to dense with a short internodial distance dimm the power down/ rise the lights. If flowers has appeared around week 2 of flowering stage you can give all your wattage on her, shes strong enough then
Another good week this week and some changes. I Grabbed some Sea Soil from the nursery and some organic fertilizer for flower. I topped up three pots with sea soil. The fourth one, that's a little behind, got transplanted into a full pot with a top up of sea soil and a thorough mix of the soil. I decided to start training the three larger plants today to branch them out for a Scrog. The fourth one will start it's training later this week. Having some issues with low humidity and would welcome any suggestions that don't consume power?

This was definitely a good week. The ladies begged me for it and I delivered. Picked up a humidifier this week and raised the humidity in there about 20%, damn dry climates. Think the desert may have affected them and stunted them a bit. I might be a couple weeks behind schedule because of this. Training has gone well and the branches are starting to reach for the light. Mixed in some of the organic fertilizer and topped the pots up yesterday. Hoping for a good week so we can put in the trellis net next week. Thanks for following along.
