Flavour town gelato

Got the gelato for some real flavour! Sprouted in 3 days germination u know fast buds makes em quick! There in 3 gallon pots of sunshine mix 4 and have got a quarter feed off the hop. Progress has been nice for these ladies! Finishing off rooting and starting to put in work above soil! We will bump there nutes up next feed as they'll be strong enough to handle a bit more! We dropped the light 6 inches to prevent stretching and tok provide em wit a bit more power! Growth is going to come with stead so let's enjoy this! Will update very soon! So it seems this variety has a bit of stretch in its nature! Less nodes at equal height as other strains growing around em. All in all doing quit well though! Raised there nutes up double! And dropped the lights 6 inches! Let's get these girls pumping! Going to top one and see if I can get some good branching going on on this strain and leave the rest alone to do there thing along with some help of lst and defoliating. Will update very soon. These girls are moving at there own pace! Seemingly 3 different phenos in my litter. None the less progress is great ! Lots of plant to work with now so I will be defoliating and training tommorow! Will update than! Happy growing and stay lit fam.

So the progress on these ladies has been steady! Growth hasnt been explosive nor slow... it's like theyve been put into Cruze lol. They seem to be flirting with making the transition so we changed there feed to better suit there up coming change into flowering plants! We also lowered there lights another 6 inches to give em a nice boost in lumens for the developing young ladies. We will be training and defoliating tommorow so look out for a update than. These girls started really making the switch to flower mid last week. Forming bud sites and throwing out pistils. They didnt go through much of a stretch... just another indica trait this variety seems to contain. Its overall dominance is really on the indica side! It's short stature, low stretch rate, Thick dense branching structure.... Only thing that cries Sativa is its slender leaves that cover these short robust bushes! Dont let those fool you I guess lol! Progress has been great with these girls. Gunna keep pumping the that bud ignitor until flowering really gears up! Environment has stayed static. Keeping the environment stable really help the girls make a gracious transition. Until next update happy growing and stay lit fam!

So these girls have finished the transition and are working on structuring and developing there flowers. They had a large leggy stretch and there leaves are long and lean. And with the slower development rate these girls are screaming sativa dominant in every way! With the progression we are seeing and the very sativa style of growth. We may be in for a longer flowering variety! But with all the bud porn I've seen of it I'm sure it will be well worth the extra couple weeks! Plants are nice and bushy and full! So we will be giving another defoliating and training session tommorow or the next day! We removed bud ignitor from her diet as she has completed the transition. Buds are really coming along but it is as if they want to completely coat every portion of the flower with trichomes before it develops and bulks on more! They have long slender sparkling sugar leaves giving these girls a stand out look amongst the garden! Will update in a couple days with development and bud porn! Happy growing and stay lit fam.

These girls are a trichome palace! A crystal haven! There still coating every piece of flower with resin before bulking on more! The flowers bulk up for a couple days! Than coat themselves in trichomes for a couple days! It's a beautiful sequence to watch.... never seen flowering quite like this before! But I'm not complaining one bit lmfao! With the progress and development I'm seeing I'm almost certain we will be going another 3 1/2 weeks atleast. But boy it sure is looking worth the wait. So the 2 plants that grew fatter denser nugs are finished up and got 8 days of solid flushing. This pheno on the other hand develop with smaller spire like buds coated in trichomes and is taking longer to finish up. She received her last feed yesterday and will be starting her flush. Shes not going to yield like the other two solid plants did. But this smoke is going to be something special.... from what I do haul from her. Will do the harvest report once she comes down. Shes flushing well and is completely cloudy! But just seeing the odd Amber's popping up so far. Give her a few more days before chop! Shes shining and stanking but much slower going and smaller buds than the other pheno I had but she is looking mighty fine! I cant wait to give her a taste! So our last plant finished up! Shes been going a few weeks longer that the other pheno I had. But those frosty trichome spires are looking mighty fine! And they smell so fucking good too. Just reeking with potency! Shes definitely going to be some high quality smoke! Just not as good of a yielder as the other 2 plants and pheno were. The others have been drying and curing all this extra time this lady was running. So I will have some beautiful cured bud shots come when I post the harvest. I will do a nice smoke comparison between the 2 phenos and give them there individual rating as they are quite different looking finished product. I'm assuming the smoking experience will be different as well but we shall find out. All in all I loved growing this gelato variety from fastbuds and I've already requested more to bang it out even better on a second run! Until this lady dries! Happy growing and stay lit fam.

So we ended up with 2 distinct phenos. One we had 2 plants of and it was a much faster moving type. Finishing basically 3 weeks before the other pheno. This pheno produced insanely tight dense flowers that were absolutely covered in trichomes. It smokes super smooth and packs one hell of a punch! Some real potent stuff. But its terpe profile isn't as booming as our other pheno. Dont get me wrong the flavor is great. Sweet creamy almost tastes like vanilla... just not as in your face terpe rush as the other. That being said it yielded much better than the other pheno. Our second pheno produced these resinous trichome spire like flowers, that were not as dense and more on the fluffy end. That is no indication of its quality though... it mabey more fluffy but it's also more crystaly which is very intense cause the other pheno was blinging. Its buzz is the exact same as the other pheno just last a bit longer. Pure relaxation! Some let's chill and converse kinda bud. Its flavour is next level! Literally taste like your eating soft serve icecream upon every inhale. Very sweet and creamy, almost resembling vanilla. These terpes are some of the most defined I've tasted making it quite the experience. Only draw back to the pheno was the 3 weeks extra grow time... but well worth the wait. Got my next pack on the way so will be growing it again real soon! I'd be happy if I got a nice mix of the phenos again as I love em both! Caps off to fastbuds for this genetic beast!
