Started the 5 seeds using the wet paper towel method and a heat mat. After 2-3 days all seeds popped. Transplanted the seeds to rockwool cube and placed in the tent under lights. After a few days one of the seeds lost it's leaves then I put the four surviving seeds in the reservoir and with no nutrients apart from a root additive.

Not much for growth this week, probably due to the cold weather. One more week with no nutrients only the root addative before the girls get a micro dose of nutes next week.

Another week of cold weather means slow growth. A few more nutes and warmer weather scheduled for this week should see some good growth.

Had a couple of warm days but mostly a cold week so not much growth, slowly increasing the nutrient strength and hopefully not long before I can see the roots.

Great week of growth this week, most plants except for one almost doubled in size. I'm getting what looks like salt build up in the clay pebbles so I'm flushing them out when I changed the reservoir. Hopefully will be able to see the roots this week. One of the plants seems to have a mutation where three leaves instead of two grow from the stem.

What is the white stuff on my clay pebbles? I think it's some sort of salt build up but entirely sure. I flushed them out so we will see if it happens again this week.

@MrMunchies it's a good idea to keep the nutrient level in the reservoir at the bottom of your net pot Keeping the levels too high can cause problems with salt buildups as you have already found out but can also cause Root rot problems as well

Finally some warm weather which means some nice growth. My mutant has some spotty leaves but all the other girls are fine. Nice root growth is now visible so I dropped the water level in the reservoir a little bit.

Warm weather this week made for a good week of growth. Still debating whether to top the girls or not as I usually always top my plants but I'm considering not topping these as they are a bit short. Might start a small defoliation in the coming week as the fan leaves are getting quite large and might be blocking light to the lower growth sites.

Nice growth this week and started a slight defoliation removing the large fan leaves that were blocking light to the lower grow sites. Still leaning towards not topping as I only plan a couple more weeks of vegging and the plants are not that tall.

Girls are looking good but still quite short so I won't be topping this lot. Some preflowers are starting to show so I will flip after this week.

Eventful week. First of all after noticing pre-flowers I flipped these girls. Noticed a start of root rot so I used a Hydrogen peroxide supplement to cleanse the tank. Lastly I placed a reflective film on the tote lid.

Warm weather so nice amount of growth this week, probably best week yet with all plants growing quite a bit. Found quite a few bugs so I've put up a trap and might up a few more. They don't seem to be doing any damage to the girls but when the girls get sticky I don't want them catching the bugs. Continuing to do a small amount of defoliation.

The girls have really taken off this week so I decided to change my system from a single reservoir tote to 4 individual buckets to give the girls a bit more room. A small trim but no topping. Already starting to cause a bit of a stink which is a promising sign for the weeks to come.

The girls are loving the extra space, really stretching out. Bud formation is still slower than I would have liked but a lot better than my last grow. Still heaps of little bugs about, will be on the hunt for some ladybugs in the garden.

We had very hot weather this week which killed most of the little bugs I had but a bigger drama emerged when I changed the reservoir. Two of the plants including the biggest one had male flowers so I've had to cull them. Not happy at all as there is no reason for them to turn as I have treated them well and kept them stress free so I blame the breeder for sending me duds. I have 5 more seeds from Seedsman so I'll wait till I grow them to fully dis them but so far not happy with this turnout.

Can male flowers pollinate buds that have been already harvested? I've had to cull a couple of plants because they are hermies and I'm worried that pollen from the male flowers will pollinate female buds when I use the same drying rack, is this possible?

No, I wouldn't worry about he herbs drying being pollinated. There isn't enough time for seeds to form during cure as they truly tap out the plants energy.. I'd be more concerned with the pollen making its way into your flower room if it's close by.. unlikely but the risk is still there... I found a dried pollen sack in my herb that I used to pollinate another strain and the pollen was still viable after being in a food dehydrator for 36 hrs... Sterility will be key afterwards.. make sure to wash up after handling the dried nugs to avoid cross contamination... Cheers! Keep it Green! DWCHC 👈 👍

After the disaster that was last week losing two plants, this week went a little bit easier. Not much change only stopped using liquid Kool Bloom and switched to dry Kool Bloom for tha last few weeks. Going to start monitoring the trichomes and hope to harvest in about three weeks.

Girls are getting really smelly right now although the buds are not fattening up as much as I would like. Trichomes still not very cloudy but I will be checking them daily from now on to see how far away from harvest. No more little bugs which is a big plus.

Starting to get some trichomes go cloudy so I have decided to flush the girls this week. I have some cheese clones which are not far away from rooting, as soon as the clones are ready I will harvest the girls.

Easy strain to grow, Had a slight bug problem for a few weeks but no pests come harvest time. Small and potent buds were the result of a long grow. Lost half the potential crop with two of the four plants being hermies.
