10/7 - Day 10 - coming along well, should be time to water again tomorrow. Think I might add some cal-mag, just to get ahead of that as I've ran in to deficiencies with that my last 2 grows.
10/10 - Day 13 - actually waited until today to water, added cal-mag. Coming along nicely!
10/15 - Day 18 - plant looking real droopy all of the sudden, not sure why. It's in the identical environment as my other plant, which is thriving, but this one is growing slower and now dropping. Maybe the smaller size means it has a harder time with the nutes and they're too much? Really not sure. Watered today so we'll see if that helps her perk up. Everything else is looking good, nice color and everything. Just not sure about the droopage.
10/19 - Day 22 - looking very healthy color wise, but still pretty droopy. Not sure why, following the identical schedule as my other plant which isn't drooping at all. This plant is a bit smaller so maybe it's not drinking as much and therefore I'm overwatering? But I let the soil get dry an inch down. Maybe I'll add in Revive next water cycle.
However, the huge fan leaves are covering up a bunch of bud sites. I'm not sure if I should cut those off already. It just seems so early and I don't want to do anything to stunt her growth or anything, but I'm sure those bud sites would love the light.
10/21 - Day 24 - I have poor impulse control :/. Decided to just go ahead and take a few fan leaves off... And then a few more... Welp, bud sites certainly have more light now. I watered as well, so hopefully it won't stunt her too bad and she'll perk back up in a few days. If she recovers well, I might still do some LST, we'll see.
10/22 - Day 25 - took the haircut like a champ! Recovered great, now I'll just let her go for a while and probably LST eventually
10/26 - Day 29 - showing slight signs of nitrogen toxicity, so I severely turned down the nutes, just 1/4 strength of the trio, that's it. She's looking great now though. She was the smaller of the two I'm growing but has definitely jumped ahead now. She took the first haircut phenomenally so I just cleared out a few more fan leaves.
10/29 - Day 32 - still showing signs of nitroten tox but otherwise super healthy and growing like crazy!
11/3 - Day 37 - I'm getting a bit nervous that she'll stretch too close to the lights, as I'm already at the highest my lights will go. But otherwise she's looking great. Still showing some nitrogen toxicity but otherwise looks super healthy.
11/8 - Day 42 - a day after watering but still super droopy. Not sure what's bothering her. I really don't think it's overwatering, as the soil was dry and the pot was light last time I watered. Hopefully she'll perk up soon. Looking good otherwise, seems like the nitrogen levels are finally leveling out a bit.
11/11 - Day 45 - coming along nicely, droopage got a bit better. Still another day or 2 until the next watering. Nute schedule says to add some other stuff back in, but most contain nitrogen and I'm still showing some nitrogen toxicity so I dunno, might stick to the trio for now. Maybe add carboload. We'll see how I feel once the time comes.
11/13 - Day 47 - no pics today but watered, back to 1/4 strength trio and then did 1/2 strength of big bud and voodoo juice, and a bit of carboload as well. Did have to trim some bottom leaves off as they showed some real damage from the nitrogen tox I had been fighting. Hopefully she responds ok, really don't want to flush her at this stage. Starting to smell though, can't put my finger on what like though, a bit fruity I would say.
11/15 - Day 49 - looking good but still fighting the nitrogen. I really didn't want to but I'm leaning towards a plain watering next round, hopefully kick that extra N out of there once and for all. Starting to smell like a ripe cantaloupe almost.
11/16 - Day 50 - man, shit got a lot worse in a matter of 24 hours! Really showing the claw now so I went ahead and watered with plain PHed water. Let's hope I didn't do too much damage and she recovers. Winter also came quick here so my temps have dropped and the RH is way down. She seemed ready for a watering after just 3 days. Last time it was a week! So I'm sure that played a part too. Either way, hope she recovers alright. At least the top buds still look great.
11/18 - Day 52 - she responded great to the last watering. I don't expect the damages and clawed leaves to recover, but the newest leaves look great and are not dropping at all. Seems to be bulking up nice and smelling more each day.
11/23 - Day 57 - watered again without the trio, added in big bud though to get some bloom nutes in there. Also added a small heater to the tent to keep temps up. She's doing great, getting real sticky and odiferous. Bulking up nicely.
11/30 - Day 64 - she's coming along great. I feel like I could harvest any time now but want her to bulk up a bit more. Still smells like overripe cantaloupe but a hint of cheese now too. She's super frosty, I can't wait to see her dried and cured! But for now we'll see how patient I can get. Last closeup look of the trychs showed lots of cloudy but not much Amber yet. I did water with a small amount of nutes this last round. Still not sure if I want to flush or not, I still think it's a bit of stoner science.
12/5 - Day 69 - she has really ramped up her stank! Plain water today, still hoping to hold off harvesting for at least another week or even two. We'll see. But she's doing awesome, can't wait to smoke this bad Larry!
Dry weight is an estimate as she just got hung up. Effects as well, as I won't smoke it for another few weeks at least. Can't wait!
Updated with a few dried shots. Still curing so no smoke report yet, but will try to sneak in a sample before the end of the month.
No dice on the smoke report. Taking a sudden and unexpected break from smoking due to a potential career opportunity. But I cant wait to try it when the time comes, at least it'll be perfectly cured by then.
