Oh forgot to mention the 2 on the left are Gelato OG as well as front middle one. 2 on the right are Feminized Cheeses growing with the auto’s. And back middle plant is the Pineapple Glue. Doing extreme LST to test results! No Topping because Autos. Thanks Seedsman!

Visit them daily. Readjust plastic ties. Redirecting the main stem from growing up, shaping it around the pot in a circle. Plants are all resilient. Growing so hard pulling the ties up. Using only fan leaves when possible to tie down, keep short bushy even canopy

Growing great! Staying squat, producing extra node sights and beautiful branch structures from LST. Letting her grow without ties next week. Raised the lamp to 30”.

The Pineapple Glue (Center,Back) is showing dominance in terms of growth and flowering, so far. The 3 Gelat OG’s and the Pineapple Glue are pre-flowering into flowering. The 2 Cheeses on the Right are not autos, they are along for the growth ride and I will force flower them under 12/12 later :) I am rotating the pots every other day and watering every other day or as needed. More pics to come for Week 5. Any advice is always appreciated! Update- Decided to move the Cheese’s off to the right even more so the 3 Gelatos and Pineapple Glue can share the majority of the light. The 2 Gelatos on the left especially were needing more light. Again, the cheese’s are just feminized so no need to flower them, depriving the autos of juicy light. I will be reducing light cycle to 18 hours

Phew. The bud sights and branches on these ladies are really fanning out nicely and giving an idea how my try at LST is getting then all equal light. The 2 Gelato’s on the left are responding much better to a better share of the light. The Pineapple Glue (Center rear) is still dominant but the bigger Gelato (center front) is catching up! Debating to do some defoliation on the very bottom fan leaves or just leave em alone. More Week 6 photos to come!

10/3 They are starting to form great bud sights and im doing ever so light and gentle defoliation every few days. I moved the 4 autos more under the light last week and the weaker two Gelatos are responding great. Today I moved the two Fem Cheeses off to the sides completely to prioritize the GelatoOG autos and the Pineapple Glue auto the light. I will continue to grow the Cheeses and will flower them separately later. If anyones wondering, I didn’t use nutrients on this grow because I couldn’t afford them easily and wanted to see how I could do without :) Light is 2000w , my ultimate goal is 500-1000g eventually but ik thats not realistic on this closet grow. Tips always appreciated!

Hello! All plants are doing great! Pushed the 2 fem non auto cheeses way off to the side to keep vegging, so now the other GelatOG’s are catching up to the main GelatOG and the PineappleGlue. PineappleGlue is the plant with beautiful orange hairs in early flowering and is the biggest of the bunch. Temps have gone down a tad only because its getting cold outside, will monitor. Debating whether to use a bloom booster?

They got a little cold on the last night of week 8 and a little hot the next day as I overcorrected. Range was 68-81 F for only short periods of time. Got them settled at 73-76 F now and good humidity and PH. The temp flux’s didnt phase them a bit. Very strong strains. Being auto’s , being gentle , only clipping a few fan leaves every other day. Also, bending leaves to provide more light to lower canopy. Canopy is good and even! Gave a tiny amount of Miracle Gro rose food diluted in water yesterday. The Pineapple Auto smells like Juicy Fruit gum and has hints of purple coming in. The Gelato’s legit smell like Cake/Fruit/Earthy. Can’t wait!

Grow Questions

Do most strains’ buds really swell and fill out in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering? And I read articles that were against topping auto’s even once because of the stress, but I know others do it. Better yield or nah? (For future reference)

Yes those buds should swell up in the last 3 weeks or so if you got your nutes dialed in correctly and 2.) I never top Autos and get big yeilds! Autos don't have time to recover from topping because they are on a time limit to get things done quickly... If you get time pop on over to my profile and check out the Cream Mandarin and West Coast OG man I got incredible yeilds without doing any LST or topping

Coming along great. The two weaker Gelatos are catching up fast. The Gelatos still smell fruity but the Pineapple Glue now smells like straight Deisel fuel and Skunk!

Grow Questions

Chronic_Benjistarted grow question 5 years ago
Ive got 2-3 weeks to go, as you can see by the Week 11 lower canopy pics I missed some bud sights on the lower levels when defoliating. They are still mostly pistils and I know they wont get a ton of light or develop alot. Is it worth the stress to remove them now or let em go?

Hello Chronic_Benji, your girls looking good and healthy. You can remove the popcorn buds if you want to to see if it still going to make a change for your upper bud development. If your not sure or want to test it, remove the popcorn just from 1 or 2 plants as comperison to the other ones. My tip for next growth is to make sure after defoliating in week 3 of flower you check after a few days if you didnt miss a spot. Thats to my knowledge the best time to do it and remove small buds who have no chance at all, so it will destribute the energy to the rest of the bud formation. I hope this was an helpfull answer, Keep on growing my friend. Peace 😎👍

Checking the trichomes daily, although the plants are trying to decide for themselves when this ends. Took some dead growth and yellow leaves off today. Buds are still swelling. Pineapple Glue smells of pineapple and deisel, the Gelat OGs smell of Fruit and Pepper. Excited! 11/18 - Initial leave / bud trim. Still swelling!

Pineapple Glue outgrew my other plants during veg, and early flower, but coasted through late flower/bud swell. Dark green foilage, orange hairs, medium density, tastes like deisel with a hint of pine lemon. High is great creative, euphoric, all around numbness to the body. 1 1/2-3 hours stoned off a bowl for a high tolerance smoker. Thanks for looking!

The buds grew great in late flowering and they swelled good. Medium density nugs. Pleasant aroma of Berries and Sandalwood. Light green, orange/red hairs, very very crystally and sticky even after cure. Smokes smooth. Great head/ body high, can put you down to sleep though so be careful how comfy you get lol. Definitely a good bed time strain, or couch lock strain.
