I found that the new growth on top of the buds was likely caused by light stress, as the foxtailing was much more prevalent on the side of the tent with the bright blurple light from a few weeks ago. This explains why the buds stopped fattening up, and put it's energy to making small leaves out of the bud sites.
I also came across a few bananas this week :(. I plucked out all of the ones I came across, but there are likely more hiding. Because of this, I've decided to cut her down a bit earlier than I was hoping. Some of the buds look ready, but there are quite a few newer ones that are still immature.
I'll be cutting her down today, so I'll be able to give a final update in a week or so.
Is this dark horse genetics symbiote.
would be mad to finally see some DHG gear grown out here.
the leaves and internode definitely remind me of my stretchy original banner cut.
keep up the good work dude.
@TheBigMacAttack, bet she's a beautiful stacker all the same, there's fire in them genes.
might I say your LST is looking impeccable.
can't wait to see em bud
@kush_dreams,
Sort of. My father inlaw got BB#2 and Bitchslap seeds from Dark Horse Genetics and bred them together (Mother: BB#2/Father: Bitchslap). So this isn't the professionally bred symbiote you'd buy from DHG, but has the same lineage.
From what I've seen, I've been really impressed with the DHG genetics. I'll hopefully be getting (Kings Banner X Berry White) seeds from him in the next few months, so that will probably be my next grow.
Thank you for the words of encouragement 👍
Hey bro. I hope i can help, i overdried a harvest when we had a heat wave and, after lots of reading and chats with old fellas, i went with lettuce leaf in the jars while curing. I put a paper towel under it so it didnt touch the buds. I had to burp each few hours but you could see the moisture getting sucked from the lettuce and frosting the top of the jars. After 1 to 2 days take out and use boveda from tben on. Taste was perfect and cured bud was perfect. Give it a try!!
