Beginning of my 4th grow. Chose fast buds to see if it is worth the hype. I will try to fim these plants. I planted 5, 3 Are on 18 hour cycle and to are in 12 hour cycle.
Alright so the 2 flimsy looking girls are the ones I started in the flower room. After seeing the difference from the girls in the veg room I decided to cram them all in the veg room.
Never really done training on autoflowers besides LST so I decided to fim these fast buds and they seem to have good genetics. They have recovered just fine. My reasoning was that I did not want to stress out the plant too much because originally I was planning on main lining for my first time but I too scared..... the 2 plants that were started in the flower room are still slightly smaller but still growing good.
This is my 1st autoflower grow in a while and from fastbuds. So far I am satisfied by the rate of growth. Cant wait to move into my new place and set up another grow tent. 2 are still smaller from starting in the flower room and have not yet started to show pistils.
Going good so far but after growing photoperiods I think I prefer veging out the plants longer rather than the product coming out sooner. It's crazy to think that they are already about half way done. Any tips for growing autoflowers?
Man I can see the pros and cons of photoperiods and autos. With my other grow c99 (photo) it allows more potential for training. While autos do their own thing (no shit there called autoflowers ;) )
Oh how I miss autoflowers. Crazy to think they only need a few more weeks and they already look massive just need to mature. Stopped using open sesame and began using beastie blooms. 1 of the 2 plants that started in the flower room has remained stunted while the other recovered just fine. Anyways I just harvested 1 of my c99 girls go check out that grow.
So I thought these buds would get bigger but they are still very sticky with trichomes and smell amazing. We still have about 2 or more weeks left to finish flower but doesnt look like I will get a big harvest. Either way I am very satisfied with these genetics and some of the colas are getting very stacked. These plants seem to want to grow 1 huge main cola as their nodes grow very close to eachother.
So were coming to an end and I am excited. I will be harvesting 1 of the plants this week and the rest in about 2 weeks. I love the size of the nugs most all of them are uniform in size.
Flush has started the girls seem to be about a week a part from eachother to harvest. The last one still needs to dense up alot I'd say she still has about 2 1/2 weeks left in her. I already chopped 2 girls down.
So far I have dried and trimmed 2 plants which has only yielded me 22 grams but man is it some top shelf stuff. I just cut down 2 more girls today and the last girl is about 2 weeks away from harvest still.
So far 44 grams total dry weight of flower. I have 1 zkittlez girl left. Smoke is amazing and the sedating effects come after the peak. Overall great looking and tasting bud.
I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.
