Aero_Sativo I'm starting a new grow. This time with sativa and 50% hybrid varieties.
I'm planning to do a SCROG.
At first, I was going to germinate 4 seeds. But I germinated 5 just in case one didn't sprout or something unexpected happened along the way.
All the varieties are fem except for the Inspector Leiva, which is regular.

Aero_Sativo 20 days of Vegetative.
The plants have been fertilized only once with the manufacturer's recommended minimum dose and have received some foliar sprays.
The plants suffered a slight red spider mite infestation. A specific product was applied to eliminate the pest, but the plants responded poorly and even deformed some leaves 😵💫.
Over time, the plants gradually recovered and started to produce new shoots.
All the plants have undergone apical pruning and new bud pruning.
I'm almost sure that the Inspector Leiva is male.
The Portela is lagging behind compared to the other plants.

Aero_Sativo Over time, the plants have gradually recovered from the burns and deformities they suffered.
Low branches were pruned, and the apical pruning has continued. The plants have between 18 to 30 apicals depending on the strain.
The pests that were present have been completely eliminated.

Aero_Sativo Throughout the week, we continued guiding and tying down the branches of the plants to try to create a scrog-type grow but without a net.
The plants have made considerable stretch; I hope they stop getting tall soon or I’ll have problems with the height.

Aero_Sativo Moving into the second week of flowering, I continued to trim the lower branches and weak arms.
The plants have responded quite well to the pruning, and the stretch of the plants is already slowing down.

Aero_Sativo 3rd week of flowering.
During the 3rd week of flowering, the plants stopped stretching due to the change in photoperiod.
The sublimator continued to generate new branches in the lower parts, and some small shoots stretched out looking for light.
All those new branches and shoots were cut to prioritize the larger and stronger branches only.
I must highlight the small amount of leaves that the plant produces, which allows light to penetrate perfectly to the lower parts.

Aero_Sativo In the time that has passed, I've had problems with the temperature. Here (Chile), it's already starting to get really hot, and there are still several days left until summer begins.
The 1024, although it's the Fast version, can already be seen as the last plant to get the chop.
The Portela is resin on resin, forming very nice buds shaped like golf balls.
The smell in the tent is already very intense.
The plants haven't received any nutrients in weeks.

Aero_Sativo Another week with terrifying heat. Due to the high temperatures both day and night, the flowering has progressed more slowly, and I think it will stretch out for about 2 weeks.

Aero_Sativo This is the 2nd time I'm growing this strain, but this time the results were different. I ended up with a pretty indica pheno.
The growth was somewhat compact and slow.
At the time of flowering, the stretch was quite minimal, even ending up smaller compared to the other plants.
The effect is still sativa, but nothing remarkable, just like its flavor. The first time I grew this strain, the results were much better.
The plant was loaded with buds, had a delicious flavor, and a potent effect. Something that wasn't achieved this time.
Wonderful variety that has a tremendous ship and flavor.
of indica effect which gives a hunger for those.

Aero_Sativo The use of supports is essential for this variety.
It has a quite strong smell and a very pronounced sweet and fruity flavor.
With minimal care, the plant grows quickly and flowers very fast.
Bro, I'm waiting to see what happens with that 1024, I've always been interested in medical seeds. Quick question: Do you install the Exhale CO2 bag during the flowering stage? And does it really provide everything they say it does?
Cheers, Hrmno 🙏
@WilliamsUrbFarm,
Hello there. Medical has some really good varieties. In this case, the 1024 has turned out to be the most vigorous and largest of the bunch.
They gave me the CO2 bag as a gift to test it out. I placed it in the tent from day 1. Whether it actually provides everything it claims, I don't know yet. And I don't think I'll be able to verify it since the fungus has completely colonized the substrate, so it's no longer generating CO2.
