Nyc diesel x afghani freebie!

greenpinky Week went well. Started off domed. Ones it started stretching removed dome. All good. This was a freebie that came along with the others.

greenpinky Repotted to 5gal. Fabric pot. Kept in the coco coir starter pot.start feeding soon.

greenpinky Starting seeing some real good growth this week. Topped at the 3rd node thinking manifold. Ultimately left the 2nd node and am training instead.

greenpinky Well it looks like a phosphorus deficiency is taking hold. 24hrs and its spreading. Flushed and fed with extra bloom for the P. New growth seems to be unaffected and caught in time. Took off the damaged leaves now that the new growth tips have enough foliage. Will watch closely and monitor ph. Sept.29- fed with ph 6.2 with nutes. Ph was getting a little low in run off at like 5.5. Soilless medium is a little tricky. Seems to be going alright since feeding more P. Will keep up a little higher ratio of bloom for this gal.. Oct.1 defoliated for light penetration and continued lst. Oct.2- watered and fed at 6.2-1 gallon with only maybe 5% runoff.

greenpinky Oct.4 not showing any deficiencies right now. Drinking up the water as fast as i can feed it. Should get interesting this week. Maybe flip to flower sooner than i thought. Keep them manageable size for flower . I am really lookin forward to this one. Never smoked it before. Topped all four mains, see how that goes . Will train out growth tips laterally next. Oct.6- watered and fed. Growing nicely. Oct.8- growth tips starting to form thicker branches and grow out Oct-10. Fed 1gal ph6.2 ppm 875. Getting big fast.

greenpinky Oct-12. Scrog screen in place. Now to fill the canopy. Oct.13- defoliated lightly for light penetration. Will flip to flower soon. Oct.18- some signs of water on the leaves causing rot due to too many leaves. Defoliated some more . Fed and watered. Refucing light over the week til i flip to 12/12

greenpinky Oct.20-flipped to 12/12 last night. This one seems to be the biggest and hardiest of the 3. This one got topped one more time then the NL. Kind of running out of space to its left so may add some more netting. Oct.21 - added another row of net. Watering with 6.8ph spring water 1.3l with some cal and mag present to mositen then will watered and fed at 6.2ph 868ppm 4 litres. Then extra 1.5l of just distilled to get maybe a half cup runoff. All waiting half hour between. She was thirsty. Oct.25. Fed and watered. Added the big bud and bud candy into the mix. See what happens. This one has a ton of bud sites workin to the screen.

greenpinky Oct.27. Day8 flower. All going well. Light defoliation as needed almost fully filled the screen. Oct.28 fed and watered. 5.3l ph.6.2. 2nd week of flower this gal has a ton of bud sites just taking over the space. Oct.31. Trimmed out lots of fan leaves to give it some breathing room and light penetration. Fed nad watered same as last time.

greenpinky Nov.3 day 15. Pretty sure this one could have filled the entire screen on its own given the time. Next round will only do 2 plants in the 5x3. Fed and watered today. 5.3l at about 950ppm 6.3ph. Nov.7- day 19 . Budding up real nice, thinned out as much as i could today. Last good trim before i let it go. Fed and watered. Doing well at ph 6.2

greenpinky Day.21 flower. All good so far. Buds filling up the colas. A little amber amongst the white now. This being the longest flower time of my 3 I didnt expect it to be the most developed so early. Fed and watered today. Day.24flower- seeing a cal mag deficiency again, same as the nl. Fed and watered today. Lowered ph to 6.1 as ive read promix tends to ph up over time .Maybe locking out or just needs more. Had laid off cal mag a bit last few feeds so i could keep ppm down a bit but it appears it cant do without. Day.25. Seems to have affected some old growth fan leaves first luckily, and not much else has continued to happen today, so i think i got it in time. Day.27. Fed and watered. Keeping cal mag up. Seems to really like it.

greenpinky Week 5 flower. Day.29- as long as i keep up the cal mag everything seems to go okay. Will keep and eye for new deficiencies but otherwise this one is moving along great. There are going to be some awesome big bud filled colas on this one forsure. Day. 30- fed and watered. 5.5l ph 6.15. Day-32. Found some new spots and not sure why. Any ideas?

greenpinky Week 6. Life got in the way to end last week so not many updates. Nov.25- fed and watered. Brought ph up to 6.35 to try and get calcium deficiency sorted out. Thinking it was locked out due to ph. Nice dense buds starting to fatten up.. Still showing a lot of rust spots. Nov.26 realized my ph is actually too high not too low. Will flush and feed next time at 5.8 and lots of runoff try and get it down to 6. So this plant has a male flower. See pic. Ive yanked it, but it appears to have pollinated both the c99 and the nl next to it. Oddly the plant with the male flower has no seeds. Must be wind direction as the other two are down wind. May have to chop em all before seeds take over. GRrrrrr. Advice both welcome and needed. There are some good trichs present and amber hairs curling. Will all go to oils if its no good. I may let this one stay and mature . Learning experience forsure. Hindsight** overnight heater had an erratic heat then cool pattern that would spike then dip. This was likely cause of stress that started the male flower growth. Not genetics, just a newb trusting a thermostat on a cheap heater.

greenpinky fed very little nutes sunday.and pushing plenty of run off.will keep an eye on the trichs. Buds are big and hard taking up entire colas. Should be a good yield. Has that diesel smell it leaves on ur hands after touching. . Starting to see purple leaves and trichs are starting to amber. Ive heard this plants throws false amber trichs on the leaves sometimes tho. But purple leaves only come when close to harvest. Weds. Day 45- water only. Flushing. Day 48. Goin to let this ride another week. Still fattening up.

greenpinky Still holdin off on this one. Just didnt have time to trim both it and the nl so I decided to leave it. Have kicked the light down to their redish bloom leds only so i dont cook the thc that is present and have backed the light off. Will give it some water only and let it go til mid week. Lookin forward to this harvest the most of all 3. Watered sunday with some spring water to give it a tiny bit of cal and mag that was present in the water. Day.50flower. Trichs lookin pretty good. practicing some patience tho. Dya.51. Just letting it dry out some from watering sunday before i harvest. Found a big difference in trimming ease when flushed 3-4 days prior to harvest vs. 2. I only gave her 4l though on sunday vs the 8-10l id flushed with in the c99 48hrs prior to harvest.

greenpinky This plant could have taken the entire rooms net if i gave it the space, did well growing under the screen and made colas with buds the entire length with dark purple leaves comin in near the end. The smell is crazy, once i got this one on its own you could really smell the grapefruit. Hanging for now and will jar em up when they start to dry. Humidity in the house is comin down right now to a bout 45% so will have to watch i dont let em dry out too much hanging. Really want to preserve the terps on this one. Should work out to a good yield. Wet weight trimmed i got 130g more then the last two. So hoping that comes through in dry weight. Hoping for 4 oz out of this one. Fingers crossed. Got 6.35oz dry out of this girl. Wow. So happy right now. Basically double my other two plants. This one got and extra topping early on and it really paid off. 3/4lb out of the 3 combined and im set for winter.
