Week 1: Very excited to get my new GC seeds! My first attempt only saw 2/5 sprout, which the remaining two didn’t last after about a week... Now onto take 2! GC actually hooked me up with a one time replacement of my seeds and I will have say I love the guarantee. Only have one tent that’s running my bag seeds but should be done in the next week or two. More to come

When do you worry about seeds that’s don’t sprout? One popped in 2 days, it’s now day 7...

seeds have changed. they tend to have a thicker peel than the classic seeds. So its the best to trat them different to get them to germinate and sprout ot of the soil. i let my seeds soak too, then i go with the " papertowel method... letting them germinate where its dark and humid, next step for you ... automatics like it to go after germinating directly into their final pot, filled with fluffy prfertilised soil. If the tap root of an automatic plant hits the bottom she slows down and stop growing. So give them after they germinated their final pot. Automatics dont like transplanting too.........................and now back to your question..................if you dont see a sign of life after 7-10 days , maybe dig with alot of attention for your seeds.. sometimes they took the wrong way. If you go with the papertowel method you are planting seeds with aroot, and you have a vry high rate of germinated/ sprouted seeds. I give my planted seeds a " open dome" that means a plasticbottle with holes , to kep humidity high and help them. I water with aloewater

Week 3 Update - Haven’t been spending as much time on these girls as I’d like but they seem to be growing just fine. Thinking I might transplant today or tomorrow into the 3G fabric pots. One concern is that the larger plant is already showing pistils.... seems wayyyyy to early for that but we’ll see. Mexican Haze is looking good. Tallest of the 4 but not yet branching out. Time will tell!

Week 4 Update: Sunday Finally decided to transplant these 4 plants into the 3G fabric pots since they're looking like they're having nitrogen deficiencies (or another nute).... Mexican Haze is literally growing like a palm tree with the nodes stacking right on top of each other. Not sure what to do in terms of training since this is 1 Non-Auto plant surrounded by 3 autos but time will tell.

Why are my autos showing pistils at less than 4 weeks!?? Does this change how I was planning to train them or defoliate? Also - why isn’t there much spacing between the nodes? Two 600w LEDs about 36” above canopy....

@PurpsInMyCloset you just got a dud phenotype that decided to flower quickly . Unstabilised auto strains are a real mystery bet when you plant them some veg for 5-6 weeks and get big and some go straight to flower as soon as they can and end up miniature sized wastes of time. I wouldn't continue any training now its flowering just let her do its thing

Week 6 Update Decided to take some advice from others and start another auto directly in the “final” pot as it looks like one of the originals may have been stunted from the transplant. The Mexican Haze photo plant is just stacking up more than ever. I’ve never topped a plant before and this is already my second week of topping and the plant is responding well. There are already day more than a dozen new potential bud sites and in planning to top once more at the end of the week. Two of the CP2.0s are just blowing up. Bud sites all around and the LST is really working from what I can see. Very excited to see these two start to blow up. As for the early bloomer. I took all tie downs out and just letting her ride. A few new spots popped up and are trying to keep up but that main cola really wants to start budding. Guess I’ll have some early taste testing come Xmas!! Thanks everyone for checking out the update. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

week 7 update: Took a week off and came home to some hungry ladies. Two of the CP autos under the 800w are looking good. All colas are flowering ar the same time and somewhat even canopy. The other auto under the 600w is probably the weirdest flowering I’ve ever seen. Two colas immediately started flowering in week 2 and now I see almost no pistils growing on the shoots. Just some swole calyx... you’ll see some new shoots growing out as well and that’s making it hard to guess when she’ll ever be ready to harvest. As for the Mexican Haze Photo - wow, I was kinda skeptical when my buddy says to LST AND top it until week 6 and after doing this - it looks like there are two dozen shoots+! Going to keep vegging her out until the autos are almost done so I can keep in same tent. Very exciting times!

What do you do when one of your Autos flowered super early on one side, and is now fish tailing like a mofo? You’ll see the pics where one aide looks really matured and I’m starting to see some amber trichomes.. But you’ll see on the other side, she looks great and is growing.

If I'm looking at the picture correctly, it looks like that side is getting better light or the par is higher on that side that is more mature. You could just turn the plant around so the less mature side can catch up ... Good Luck my friend

So it’s about the end of week 10 and I’ve made the decision to cut two of the CP2.0 Autos! My last/youngest auto has had the biggest stretch I’ve ever had so far and I need more took in my tent. She’s about 7 weeks old and I still have one more Critical Purp left that’s about a week or two away. Update: the 72 hour dark phase was a bit scary as the plant didn’t seem to respond well. The trichomes were no more developed than I when I put her in the closet but I will say, she’s stickier than ever! Chopped up and just over 100g wet, so let’s hope for 20g dry. More to come. 3 left and two autos are running on completely different schedules. The untrained auto is only 7 weeks but 2-3x the size as the other. The budded auto is growing about as beautiful as I’ve ever seen. She’s swelling up and the smell is amazing. Really going to hold out until I harvest her as I feel like I continue to chop early..... identifying the “when” really seems like the hardest part of the grow but I’m still trying my best! More to come. As for the Haze, I’ve never Veg’d a plant for 10 week and I’ve been topping this one like crazy. She has to have about 20+ shoots! You’ll notice a few pics of the chopped auto. This was the one that bloomed at 3 weeks and has been stunted ever since. She did have a few fat colas that I can’t wait to try. As for the other one that you no longer see in the tent. I don’t have much room since I have one tent and I’ve never done the 72hour dark, so I talked my wife into letting me throw her in the closet for the weekend before chop! Now, this makes my entire house reek but worth it. Can’t wait for Sunday :) I’ll send another update Sunday....

So I finally decided to pull the plug on the two stunted critical purples. I still have two more CPs left, one that I trained the shit out of and the other that I mostly left alone and topped a couple times. Both on completely different harvest schedules as a result but trying my best to keep aligned. As for the two harvested plants, the yield was definitely underwhelming but if you think about it... for $5 a seed and I got almost an ounce a plant, I can’t complain. I think the next two should double, if not triple the yield so I’m not too bummed. Mexican Haze is going to be an animal. I just checked and I she has 22 cola tops but I’m worried thag might be too many and thinking of chopping down a few small ones.

Does anyone dry out their cut plants in the grow tent with the carbon filter running? I worry it’s drying the plants out too quickly...

not too quick unless you are in a very dry area like me.I would turn off the filter and leave a window barely open to remove the odor.

Man, sorry friends, I got caught up in some other issues these last few weeks and just now giving the girls the attention they deserve! From my last update, I’d chopped 2 of the original 5 plants down and finally got to smoke them this past week. This was first time really doing the flush, and I can 100% say that the taste is 100x better! Now we’re onto my last 2 plants. Critical Purple (tall one) was 3 weeks late from the ORiginal grows, but she is now at the same point as the others but still not ready. My temps are running 59-69 and I think the lack of heat and humidity really hurt the buds. So far, the buds are very air-y and spaced out compared to my first grow. I even beefed up the nutes and lights but no difference As for Mexican Haze Photo - she is finally showing some buds but I’m very surprised in the lack of “stretch” this one had. As you can see, she has about 24+ bud sites from all the topping, so I’m worried I may have impacted her growth. Regardless, the nugs are very tight and solid so I’m very excited to see where she’s at in about 3-4 weeks. More to come!! Thanks for reading 😎

Well- Mexican Haze never grew to what I thought she would but after all the training and topping, but the buds just never seemed to stretch and turned into little dense nuggets of joy. Not complaining because as you’ll see, my wet weight was more than my first grow so I’m still happy about the yield from this Photo strain, I just thought I was going to finally get my 1/4 pounder! As you’ll see, my last plant is an absolute beast (IMO) and the fading is finally happening! (My first time seeing it) The coals on this girl are somewhat air-y as you see in the first few Critical Purples that I harvested but now that I creeped the hours up for lights on (12 to 14 now) and gave her the extra light - she’s getting denser by the hour! For this one, I’m going to wait as long as possible so I can finally make my own judgement on “how/when to harvest your weed” In total - from the 4 previously harvest plants, here are the yields: CP2.0 #1: 22g dry CP2.0 #2: 31g dry CP2.0 #3: 41g dry Mex Haze: 290g wet, hoping for 60-70dry! This last one is 2x the size of the other CP2.0 so I’m really hoping for that biggest yield yet.
