Deeze Nugs and Skywalker

Oct 2 - Put 3 seeds of each into peat pots and put 1 ml in 1.5 l of water. Will be using Pro Mix once they spout. Oct 5, Skywalker 1 (SW1) spouted. put in 5 Gallon Grow Bag filled with Pro Mix. I made a cavity about the size of a cup and filled that with Pro Mix Premium Potting mix, cut the bottom off the peat pots and put that in the potting soil/Pro Mix final pot. Light at 3 ft. Oct 8 nothing else sprouted from the peat pots so i put the reaming seeds in moist paper, dark and warm Oct 11 - sprouted 6 Skywalkers and 2 Deez - only 2 S did not spout. so i now have a S in one pot and 2S together in pots for 3 pots and 2 D in one pot. I made indents in the promix and put potting soil in and planted the sprouts directly in. I put another litre of water in each pot with 1 ml/l of sensi cal mag - apparently the nutes have this but i wont be using them until later

Well, I am calling this week 2 (week 3 for S1) watered 1 litre per pot once, and then again 3 days later. both time i used B52 and Voodoo Juice 3 ml/4 litre jug Oct 25. watered S 1-4 with plain water: they wee all started in pete pots so have some nutes. they appear slightly greener/heathier that the others Also watered S3,4 and the D in pot 4 with 0.125 micro and 0.125 grow - they were stated directly in the pro mix with a bit of potting soil: lets see how they compare in 3 days. Oct 29- no nute burn. watered all with 2 liters of water with 0.5 of all 3 nutes (per 4 l container = 1/8th ) and 1.0 of the other 3 ( per 4 l = 25% or 1/4 ) the nutes plants seem to be about te same as peat pots = nutes sem to be working ph 6.2 ftr - a dry pot weights 12.7 kg before watering

Oct 29- no nute burn. watered all with 2 liters of water with 0.5 of all 3 nutes (per 4 l container = 1/8th ) and 1.0 of the other 3 ( per 4 l = 25% or 1/4 ) the nutes plants seem to be about the same as peat pots = nutes seem to be working ph 6.2 ftr - a dry pot weights 12.7 kg before watering Nov 1. Some burned tips (2 so far) probably from the nutes (although this reaction was from the 1st 1/8 dose, whereas the the 2 pots that received their second dose don't seem to be showing any burn). I did drop my light to 20 inches last night, since then I put back to 24). Quite a bit of growth since she received her 1st dose - see pix to compare. pot feels a bit heavy so will wait to water (2 l/pot) Nov 2: watered pot 1 and 2 without nutes (half the 1st dosage: just 0.25 ml/l of voodoo, b52, and sensi mag) Ph a bit higher in these pots 6.4. Watered pots 3 and 4 with the same but added 0.25 ml/l of all 3 nutes - lets wait 3 days and see. dropped the light to 20 inches. NOV 5 - still a bit wet (1.3 kg of water still in medium : 14 kg heavier than 12.7 (dry weight) so will wait to water. a bit more new burned tips on S1 only. will just use ph-ed water only on pots 1 and 2 (where they were started in pat pots) , but will continue using nutes in pots 3 and 4 (that were just planted straight in to the medium with a handful of potting soil) for comparison. Nov 6: watered 2 l/pot of ph 6.2 plain water in both pots - lets give the nutes a break this watering

They all responded very well to plain water. My plant elevators and pan should be here today. I will start LST on S1 asap. it is on its 6th node and is 5.5 inches tall - the rest are a week behind at about 3.5 to 4.0 inches. pot 1and 2 have only had nutes once - i will wait until they are flowering before they get any. pot 2 and 3 have had 2 doses of nutes. its interesting because its difficult to tell which are doing better. Nov. 10 - watered pot 3 (with S4 and S5) with 1 gallon (4+liters) of ph 6.0 with 0.25 ml/l of all nutes and additives). I got about a cup of run off which still tested 6.0. the ppm went from 400 to 752. Started LST with S1.

Nov 14. started LST on some of the other plants yesterday. I have spotted some tiny white hairs are starting - I'm assuming its pre-flowering. I hope to get the LST well underway before flowering starts (they will need all their energy to produce buds then)

all starting to flower. LST seems to be working. gave S1 bud candy as she is a week older than the rest

S1 really taking off, the others are close behind. Started with the Big Bud and Bud Candy on all.

Skywalker one and another Skywalker have stretched quite a bit in last week. About an inch and a half a day. I have a better light on order so hopefully it will prevent stretching in the future. Every day I move the fan leaves around to expose the buds that are growing. It should be an interesting crop in a few weeks Dec 9: S1 stretched to 24 inches. I will try to increase all the 2.5 of bloom (gave this to Pot 3 with S2 which is stretching about 2 days after S1)

All plants are droopy and both back pots have some rust of the leaves and claw leaves. FACTORS FOR DIAGNOSIS: Light - installed HGS 300v2 on Dec. 12. kept high the first day but now down to 16" from tallest plant. Nutes - gradually increased 1/8 all nutes on Oct 21 to 1/2 on Dec 9. B52 1, VOODOO 0, SENSI CAL MAG 1.5, MICRO 2, GROW 2, BLOOM 2 (*2.5 on back pots) BUD CANDY 2, BIG BUD 1. Watering - Dec 13 leeched with high ph water about 8 = not good as the leaves curled on back pots. over the next couple of days the front pots were droopy. Rust on 2 tips of back stretched plants formed. Dec 15 watered with 4.5 liters of 1/3 nute water. next morning the front right had improved slightly (although the leaves still look a bit "sick" they have perked up a bit) Temp/humidity. 23/55, all good dec 18: in pot 1, put 15 litres of ph 5.8 plain water at 1050 ppm, this resulted with about 2.5 litres of runoff at ph 6.6 and 850 ppm. i put in the final gallon with .5 ml/l of bloom and grow plus 1 ml/l of Big Bud and Bud Candy. these nutes increased the ppm to 1100 which i believe is the max at bloom. tested the runoff with the nute water and it was ph 606 but ppm down to 782. of the 15 litres put in the slightly damp medium about 7 liters of runoff. from the net: PPM LOWER IN RUNOFF THAN IN SUMP This is a good thing! This implies that your plants are taking up nutrients, thus lowering the overall ionic concentration! If you monitor this routinely and you see a standard drop (e.g., 1600 in, 800 out, 6 days a week), that implies that your plants are experiencing roughly the same conditions on a daily level. Keep in mind: if your PPM’s are super low in the runoff, consider upping your nutrient treat rates slowly, as your plants may be lacking in nutrients. PPM is higher in your runoff than sump. This buildup persists for a while, and then slowly dissolves back into the runoff, resulting in a higher PPM. The back two parts are showing yellowing leaves so it’s time to start bleaching them for a couple of weeks. The front two pots appear to be about a week behind the front two. There are trichomes Covering the top leaves on the front Skywalker.

S1 Looks like she has about another week in her. I’m just using pH water to 6.0 added a teaspoon per gallon of Epson salts And a tablespoon per gallon of black strap molasses. I’m hoping to get at least one more week from the rest. I won’t be using nutes from now on. There’s been quite a bit of bud development and just five days. S1's cola grew to about 6 or 7 inches from the new light with no visible harm so I moved that cola slightly to the side and dropped the light 9 or 10 inches from the remaining colas. I'm hoping this will give me the best light distribution for all the bud sites. DEC 28 Trichomes Clear/Cloudy/Amber ratio: pot 1: 20/74/6 pot 2: 10/88/2 pot 3: 50/50/0 pot 4: 20/80/0 012/02 harvested S1 and got 32 grams. most buds are pretty airy but lots of trichomes. it didn't reach 20-30% amber but the plant was looking old (yellow leaves) and some of the trichomes were losing their heads.

January 3. Harvested S1 yesterday and got about an ounce. Once the pods dry out in a couple days I’m going to harvest the other Skywalkers but leave the deez nugs Because the plan still looks like it’s got About another week left in it Looking at the yellowing of the leaves Jan 4. harvested the remaining Skywalkers (2 in one pot and 1 in one pot) but left the buds and foliage above 12 inches. After one night these buds are now glistening with frosting! Hopefully they will grow a bit more in the next few days.

Pot 1 (pete pots) TOTAL - 28 gm - Skywalker that started 1 week earlier than the rest but stretched in early November to the highest plant (about 40 inches). Stated in a pete pot so no nutes until Oct 22: MICRO 0.125 GROW 0.125 and BLOOM 0.125, then no nutes (but some B52 etc.) until Nov 25 when 0.125 was started again. went from .0125 ml/l to 0.5 to 0.75 to 1.5 to 2.0 to 2.5 every 3 day watering ending with the 2.5 on Dec 9. I believe that it suffered nute lock because after nutes (and ppm) went up to fast. Some leaves had curl tips and the plant showed deficiencies in leaf color around Dec 13 (leeched with high ph water about 8 = not good as the leaves curled) TOTAL - 7 gm - Deeze nugs weird cola (that grew in the same pot as S1. Pot 2 TOTAL - 38 gm Single Skywalker (back right pot). - (27 gm top of plant 11 gm bottom =)Started 2 S in one pot but one failed to thrive and was pulled. This one (and the plant above) had stretched significantly to about 3 feet. Pot 3 (pete pots) TOTAL - 60 gm S double plant on pot.( or 30 gm each plant)- 44 gm (top of plant, 16 gm bottom =). It was very dry when I cut the buds so should pick up a bit of weight. It was left for 6 days to dry in the tent, 5 would have been better. Pot 4 - TOTAL 59 gm Deeze nugs ( 40 gm top of plant - 2 colas were 8 gm each, 14 gm from 1st bottom trim - dropped the light to about 5 inches and now drying the 2nd bottom trim which looks like 5 grams. ) 2 plants on one pot. this is the only plant that did not show signs of nute lock and just a bit of nute burn (some small burnt tips). Harvested at day 84 - Mephisto recommended 80 days. Huge colas and buds compared to the rest. TOTAL ALL PLANTS – 192 or 6.85 oz. THE POTS WITH SINGLE PLANTS (THAT BOTH STREACHED SIGNIFICANTLY) PRODUCED 28 GM AND 38 GM. POT 1 HAD THE MOST OBVIUOS NUTE LOCK AND THE LEAST YIELD. THE DOUBLE PLANT SKYWALKER POT YIELDED 60 GM, 30 GM/PLANT THE DOUBLE PLANT DEEZE NUGS POT YIELDED 59 GM, SO ABOUT 30 GM/PLANT. Below are graphs that represent the total ml of nutes and additives. This should roughly correlate to ppm. Notice the sharp increase until nute lock on pot 1/2 before a leech on Dec. 13 I checked out the root system before I got rid of my fabric bags and all of them filled with the parts with roots. I got approximately 1 ounce per plant whether they were grown by themselves in one part or two in one pot. There was no discernable difference between the plants that were started in rapid routers and the ones that weren’t. Although I killed or started a couple when I started them in a paper towel. I found that when harvesting if you leave the lower underdeveloped buds and bring the light down it increases the yield. I kept the plants growing as long as I could to try and get 20 or 30% Amber but the plants were getting too old and I think I only had about 10%. It’s smokes nicely and get a nice buzz the more of a headstone.
