Week One - Not much to say, I germed the seeds for the new grow out and stuck 'em into coco. This grow will be mostly coco, a single soil for a comparison grow, and two DWCs.
Day 8 - Going well! The rapid rooters I started these girls in seem to be holding a bit more water than expected, hence the curled leaves. This will probably go away in a couple more days as the roots grow.
Days 12-14 are always the mini explosion of growth. Still true. :-D
Day 15 - Still not much to say with this girl, She's big, she's ding well, and her sister isn't quite so big or well. She's getting fed every day, lightly.
Day 19 - The girls are now starting to be bent under the net!
Day 21 - Training is moving along. Thius girls seems to be doing just fine. Her sister also seems healthy, but is weird, smaller and has very wrinkly leaves still.
Day 22 - Into the fourth week! She's doing fine and responding to her training well. All the girls seem to be. Decided to dust cinnamon over her medium to protect against some little black flies I've seen around. Also put up some pest sheets.
Day 28 - This girl does NOT like training. Her top is very, very strong and refuses to bend to my will well. It's happening, and I haven't hurt her, but every day she needs to be wrestled with.
Day 29 - Week 5! They are doing well. Not much more to say. I actually haven't had a whole lot of unusually stuff happen for most of the girls, and the one's that *have* been special have been dealt with mostly. This girl is still doing much better than her sister, however.
Day 35 - End of week 5! She's a stacking up! Her main stem has been very, VERY hard to keep under the net without risking injury so I'm playing it very slow.
Day 36 - Beginning of week six! Her main stem remains swole as all hell and while she's responding well to training she REALLY wants to have one top.
Day 42 - End of week six! Flowering has begun!
Day 43 - Into week seven! The entire grow is passed all the smaller bumps in the road at this point, and everyone seems to be fairly robust. All girls are showing off sex and the vast majority are starting to go pom pom on me. Flowering is AWN. Rolling slowly over from Maxigro to Maxibloom at this point, as all the girls started showing (very early) phosphorous deficiencies on the lower fan leaves.
Day 50 - Hey! We're on week eight! All the girls are doing well. The DWC girls asked for some special care over the last few days and got it. (Just a reservoir refresh) All of the rest and doing just peachy!
Day 57 - The Beginning of week nine! The girls have gotten a carpet bombing of treatments for a heretofore mild fungus gnat issue. I have ONE soil plant in the grow, and that seemed to have been the instigator of the issue. Mosquito Bits once a week and Neem Oil in their feed will hopefully knock them out fairly hard. The plants haven't shown any sort of signs of impaired growth so I'm pretty sure I've headed it off before any sort of real issue can evolve.
Week Ten! The grow is going well. The fungus gnats are nowhere to be seen apart from on some yellow sticky sheets, and every girl is flowering up nicely. Aggressive defoliation and dead leaf removal is happening on their underbellies every day now. Things are looking great!
Day 71 - Into Week Eleven! It looks like this grow is going to go a little longer than the previous two. The combination reason is that I've got the lights a little bit higher in this grow, and the overall temperature in the grow room is averaging fifteen degrees (F) lower than the last grow. It's much easier to keep my grow warm than it is to keep it cool, and the Spring/Summer grows ran upwards of 85f at points, for days at a time.
This grow has been sitting at a solid 72f the entire way through. As a result, humidity is better, growth is larger overall, and they're just gonna go a couple weeks longer than the last grow. A fair trade AFAIAC.
The LSD-25 Front girl is bulking her flowers up, and starting to purple. She's happy and healthy is seems.
Day 78 - The grow is nearing the end! The Gold Glue DWC will be harvested this week, along with anyone else who looks ready. (I think it's just gonna be her, but her Coco sister is on the edge as well.)
This girl needs more light, and is now getting it. Threw the blurple over her and the Zkittlez Front girl to help them out. The LSD-25 Rear is so huge and stretchy that it's blocking out the other two.
Day 85 - If time permits this girl gets the first chop tomorrow! She's bushy as all get out and was ready to chop a day or so ago, but so many plants to chop and I needed a rest today.
Day 86 - Chop number one! She kind of got blocked out by her twin, and her first harvest isn't as impressive. Her second harvest will be close to the same size, however, I think. The smell of this strain is incredible and I an looking forward to growing it again. More to come with the second harvest!
Day 102 - Final numbers! Between the two girls we're sitting at 11.66 ounces! As always, they smell great and look purple as all get out!
Harvest 2 is in. Weights updated. Plant isn't done yet so more to come!
I had one of my FB Blackberry Kush act the same way with some/a few leaf blades/leaves cupped down some hooked on the ends.I also have followed a few LSD-25 grows that had similar issues. Not really sure what causing these issues. Could be a genetic thing or roots issues who knows? Seems to be mostly the purple strains doing this b.s.
