Dtech Growing away, I hope they do not get much taller as I’m running out of space in the tent. I still have one plant that has not flowered. Any clues on what I can do. Should I wait until post harvest of the Auto’s before I switch to 12/12 as this one seems not to be an auto, but still a healthy female (but also taking up valuable space).

Dtech Based on these picks does anyone have an idea on how much longer till harvest. I’m guessing two more weeks. Buds are starting to fatten up, pistals are beginning to slouch and slightly darken. Trichomes everywhere, all pretty glassy. Smell is moderate, not overwhelming.

Dtech Waiting waiting and about to hit week 12. Have cut a couple green of crack colas, and got 133 g wet/ 26 dry that is currently curing. The plants smell of aged mangoes and the tropics and not as strong as I was expecting. This was a good thing. Plants are still drinking a lot, but are not taking too many nutes. EC remains fairly constant.

Happy Harvest Day!

This has been my first grow so hard to compare results. Given that this whole thing has been a learning experience overall happy with the anticipated 250 g dry for all three plants. This one so far has yielded 106 dry, which is currently curing. Taste is still fairly green and it needs to cure for a bit, still the high is great. Overall an easy plant to grow, great yield and great smoke.

Dtech Fantastic variety, only negative comment is that this strain is real leafy and takes a lot of time to trim. High is fantastic and the taste is sweet.

Dtech Have harvested 106 g of fantastic bud. It’s super sticky, fruity and a great high, can’t wait for a couple of weeks of curing. In total have harvested 2640 g wet and 419g (RH 62%). All in all this has exceeded my expectations of 250g, so really happy with the yield and the quality of bud. The Pineapple Express was a beast of a plant, yielding almost 200 g dry. A few lessons learned for my next grow, I will be a lot more relaxed the next time. GH trio, 24h lights, using a 400w HPS and a 220W LED and checking my PH were all factors.

Hello my friend, your plants for some reason choked 1)you have too hot and drink plenty of water/nutriens 2)you have the water level high in the buckets and the roots do not breathe 3) both, good luck

And you should consider about defoliation before its too late.. your plants are too bushy and too close to each other..
Dtech
Dtechcommented8y ago
@420_liquidsun,big thanks. How much do I defoliate ? Some articles say not to cut anyth8ng and others say to cut. But how much?
420_liquidsun
420_liquidsuncommented8y ago
@Dtech,try to cut leaves that shades lower bud shots, yeah not too much in one time, everyday 2-3 leaves is ok.. you can tuck some of the leaves also.. and keep in mind that dwc bucket is not suitable for grow cannabis naturally, you should train your plants to give space to each other..

@420_liquidsun, thanks for advice, have just updated my photos post haircut. Also a better shot of some of the spotted leaves

Hi mate, your harvest looks great, well done. I wish you use it in good days. I have a little problem, maybe you can help me. It's my first planting experience and I have no idea of when to harvest my plants. I'm thinking that I can cut them for 10-12 days. Could you please look at my diary, and give me some advices about my harvest time? Could you give me some general advices, too ? 👏 😤

Dtechcommented7y ago
@hiciste,I saw your pics but it is really hard to tell. The best method is to have a look at the trichomes under a scope. I bought one for about 15 Usd. Good luck

If you can take a photo when the lights off with flashes, we can see the leaves more clearly.. under hps light not easy to say you whats wrong with it.. ph ed water doesnt means your plant get cal & mag.. you should add it to your water if it is.. ✌️🏼

Finally starting to get some bud. They are all starting to fatten up. Decided to terminate the non flowering plants. Real estate ain’t cheap and I decided not to subject the rest of the harvest to 12/12.

Turned on the 130W LED’s to augment the 400W.
