Starting a new exciting grow! This is my first time using a photoperiod strain after a few autoflower runs in the last few years. I'm gonna try my hand at more stressful grow techniques like topping or defoliation. The goal is maximize my yield using a scrog net in the tight space I'm growing in! Right now the plants are in my brand new seedling box under 44watts of cool light. Not much else to say!

Starting to take off! Early veg isn't my favorite thing to watch... But it's fascinating to see how quickly these plants will switch from being thin and frail to thick and strong. Anyways moving on!

The girls started to get roodbound which caused yellowing and droopy leaves because, again, I'm new to photoperiod so I didn't really know when to transplant :( Anyways, I moved them to their finishing pot to give some room to the roots, and then into the bigger grow box so the plant on top doesn't get jealous of its roots! The bigger grow box is using a bunch of 13watts e27 household leds totaling up to 189watts of light. This isn't a conventionnal lighting solution but I've used this for a few runs with great sucess!

I did my first topping this week! The new shoots are gonna need a few days to get up to size and grow quickly again but the plant hasn't stopped growing either. The difference between different days is quite substancial! Also, since I've put them in their new pots using a new lighter soil they're happy as ever! The leaves have perked right up and have a nice sheen to them. As you can see, I did an oopsie and was affraid to start feeding them, so there goes the first leaf set. Live and learn!

UPDATE: Lots of things happened in a short span, The new shoots from topping grew out pretty weird looking, I got rid of the leaves and hope the next leafs sets will come back to normal quickly! It's pretty mangled... It's a weird problem considering how nice and even all the older growth looks. Maybe PH issues? I also built a scrog net and installed it, I'll be using this to train my plants from now on, I really like the look! This is going to be a ton of fun! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As you probably noticed, I starded to differenciate my plants. Ultimately, if everything goes according to plan, I want to keep clones of the best plant, if possible, the dreaded black pheno: dankest of the dank! Right now, I can already tell one of them has bigger internodal spacing, slightly thinner sharper leaves and a red tint in new growth that might indicate latter purpling! They're still incredibly close from each other but you can tell! The topping is totally recovered and they're exploding with growth. I'll probably start training them very soon and the flip is not too far off either. My box isn't very big.

Hi, After I topped, the new growth tips started growing vigorously, but the leaves are weird. They have a loose&floppy appearance, the serrations on the edges are very wide and one of the leaflet didn't even grow 1/5th of the size of the others.. Do you know what it is? thanks!

Looks too me like ur nitrogen toxicity is starting to lead to nutrient lock out! Give ur medium a real good flush and get those nitrogen levels under wraps and it should clear up all ur lock out and deficiency issues!

EDIT: The plant got considerably bigger over the course of this week, I did some defoliation to get rid of the bush underneath the trellis net and some pruning. It's filling enough of the net to flip at this point. The plant has fully recovered from the lockout and the leaves are coming in normal! Still looks somewhat scraggly because the fan leaves keep getting stuck in my net as it's a bit too tight. I also took some clones mainly for experimentation, I don't expect those to have a high survive rate. I might be surprised. But I'm lacking room for them so I might just end up giving them away. This 39th day is the official end of vegging for those girls. See you week 7 for the start of flowering! _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Looks like it's recovering without problem and didn't even stop growing vigorously at all! The ugly leaves are more present in the second pheno and is also seems to still have a bit of a nitrogen toxicity because it's clawing hard. At the moment I have a preference for the first pheno, it's a little bit more on the stretchy side and works wonder in the scrog net, It's a pure joy to grow! It's already smelling very weedy and the growth speed is insane! The second pheno is more stocky and short. So bushy it's hard to train it. I had to raise the pot so it wouldn't lagg too much behind in term of canope size. Also, it's putting out some of the most massive fan leaves I have ever seen and stinks A LOT too! Both have pretty much doubled in size over the course of 2 to 3 days. the net is filling in pretty quick and I'm DYING to flip those ladies! I'm a bit affraid of the stretch but, if need be, I'll shock them to try and slow it down. This is a micro grow after all.

New week new post. I'll say it once more: Big up to Ripper Seeds! This strain is absolutely amazing! The canope is expanding nice and quickly. Pistils started appearing and the stretch has clearly started. It's becoming more and more difficult to keep up with the growth rate of this monster! But soon the net will be filled and I'll just let them stretch up

This week the canope was pretty much done filling up and the only think I still have to do is some fine tuning with gardening wire to even it up even more. It's still pretty early to defoliate as the stretch has a bit more to go but I'm pretty much forced to do it as the relative humidity skyrocketed to 80%+ because the plants are so leafy. I was pretty light with it but still managed to remove a big pile of leaves. Hoping it won't shock them and ruin the stretch. But they are going so hard I'm pretty confident they won't even notice. Usually my approach is to remove leaves bit by bit to cause less stress, so as the plant is still fairly dense, I will probably have to keep cutting leaves here and there as the canope becomes too dense. I just had to take a drastic measure because of my rh

When I thought I had control over the grow, of course something was bound to happen! It's slow but it's a bit distressing none the less because it looks like the ph fluctuations from the very beginning except I have been religiously checking my ph ever since... I hope it won't spread to too much leaves because I'd like to keep them as happy and pretty as I can If somebody knows what's up don't hesitate to hit me up! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End of this week I'll be done fine tuning the grow I think. If everything keeps going smoothly, the slight N toxicity of my first pheno will go away shortly. Not like it has been slowing them down one bit tough. I'm still so pleasantly surprised of the growth rate of the zombie kush! also I spotted what I think will become a polyploid bud so I'm pretty stoked to see it develop! It might make this diary way more special and worthwile to follow!

Hi! I have spots forming between the leaf veins. Most are a red/rusty color and necrotic but a few are purplish red and still flexible like the healthy part of the leaf. The only affected leaves are near the top of the plant but not the very top either. Do anybody have an idea?

@Cannapprentice I beleive the ph could come down a bit as your plants are lacking potassium and phosphorus I would also look at incorporating a pk booster into your feeding regime. Some strains are fine and will thrive on whatever you feed them and then there are some that require more of a boost during flowering. If you bring the ph down to 6.3/6.4 It'll be able to uptake those elements easier.

It's pretty amazing to see the rate at which this strain is putting bulk on. I can't even imagine what the 2 to 3 last weeks are gonna be like! This grow has been a blast so far! And the frost is telling me I'm about to have some of the strongest tastiest weed I have ever had in a few weeks only!

I managed to fix my problems this week hooray! It only was a PK deficiency so the fix was easy. The plants are doing excellent and I'm just sitting there watching them get fatter every day! This really is by far the best strain I ever got my hands on. Both phenos are looking killer. At the moment, the pheno number 1 is the smelliest and the most colorful and the second one is maturing quicker and is covered in more trichomes. Also n°1 have the longer buds and n°2 has the best bud structure I've ever seen! I really can't pick one over the other!

Pheno number two looks like it's gonna finish way quicker than number one. Almost all its pistils turned red when my pheno number one still have almost 100% white pistils. it's amazing to see how much size and sugar these put on each and every week!

The grow is coming to its end pretty smoothly! the plants are still in very good health and the frost is really impressive on pheno #2 The #1 stands out with its smell. It is really really strong! Up to a point where it gets really tough to hold it back in the grow room. I'm getting real hyped for the harvest! These already look good as is, but Im sure there's so much bud under all those leaves! I feel like It's kinda difficult to know how much is on a plant before the trim. Maybe one or two or three weeks left

Not really anything important to say. Things are moving along smoothly and I'm just letting them finish. The color are accentuating and I've been starting the end flush. I'll keep them going for roughly a week. The buds look really really nice frosty and dense!

The flush is going well and my first pheno is getting insanely purple. Even through the tips of some smaller fan leaves. Still no amber so let's wait some more. Maybe I'll be able to harvest this weekend?

Everything is perfect and I'm planning on harvesting them. I'm pretty much forced to do it because the plants are already perfect and I spotted a very small spot of budrot. It's just not worth it to push them longer. Those are absolutely fucking caked in trichomes, it's glistening! they just started to get amber trichomes too so it kinda gets a golden glow! Very beautiful! Out of the two, pheno number two has proven to be better. The smell reeks beautifully and is as dank, sweet and musky as can be! Outstanding color everywhere. I feel like I could have got the pheno number two to purple out too if I flushed it longer. I will have to see next time I grow this pheno from the clone I kept!

This is my best grow to date. Feminized is definitely the way to go I will certainly grow this again. I only had very few problems that I easily fixed and the plants out performed my expectations. both plants were of very satisfactory quality! The #1 has more yield and the #2 has better frost, nug hardness and stronger effects. It's pretty tricky to pick a winner here. both had amazing structure, quick vigorous growth, nice colors,... What's not to love? Most flowers are beautiful and perfectly formed, I even managed to get a polyploid one. You really get that top shelf look! I absolutely couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Cracking buds open, everything inside stays compact without much give at all No squish when squeezing buds. Those are rock hard! I know there are even nicer phenos out there and I'll probably try to get an even better one in the future! Saying that Ripper seeds have fire genetics is an understatment
