She took 5 days to show her head and at first she still had her shell on, this was removed with humidity and gently peeling off. After 6 hours the leaves were still stuck tightly together and another 12 after that I saw her struggling to seperate so I decided to intervene. I'm glad I did because there was another layer, almost like a second husk, and after successfully removing this without damaging the leaves she was able to fully open by the next morning. Apologies for forgetting to take photos of that...
But now we are off to the races! She's opened up and faced the light. Now I water when dry (pH 6.5-6.8 for dry amendments in coco) and I won't have to do anything until day 28 when I will top dress early due to the small pot size.
I feel like I've had slower growth with this girl than all my others, but for the first few days the humidity was only 10-20%rh, I'm sure growth is going to be much better now I have that sorted.
@Sweet_Seeds, thanks again :D
I'm looking forward to comparing how she grows to the SAD auto and I know for sure I'll enjoy the smoke!
I can't wait to see if the promo strains through tnsb change, it was such a good way to experiment with a range of strains! I'm always keen to pick up and try something new ๐๐
@Sweet_Seeds, I'm excited about her flavours though, I can almost smell a ginger like profile in her developing scents. Quality, not quantity! Haha.
Thanks guys!
@Sweet_Seeds, super tiny! Ahaha. It's weird because it's environment has been much better than when I've grown other strains.
My guess is that she really didn't like the 1 gallon pot but it's hard to tell without more seeds to test with ๐ if I ever end up with more Killer Kush Auto I would try it in either a 3 gal or a 5 gal pot.
