When it comes to growing cannabis, LED models with 3W chipsets (each individual bulb is 3W) seem to get some of the best yields/watt of all LED models without a lot of worry about light-burning your plants. With LEDs, always look at the “actual power draw” or “actual power consumption” which is the amount of electricity the LED panel actually pulls from the wall. When comparing different LED grow lights, this is the closest you get to a side-by-side comparison. Generally, your goal with LED panels should be 50-60 watts per square foot of grow space to get the best results.

End of week 2. Added a mars hydro ts1000 to the tent. It drastically changed the environment. Dropped rh to dangerously low 20's. Added diffuser to boost humidity, now sitting around 45%. Temp is on the higher side, around 29 celcius. Worried I might have stunted growth with new light addition.

Dealing with low humidity this week. Also started LST, the ladies seem to be responding well. Defoliated a couple large fan leaves that were blocking the light from potential bud sites. I'm hoping I didn't stress em to much but it's my first grow and hard to keep my hands off them!

Good week of growth. Fed twice throughout the week. Couple signs of insects but hoping it's just the few fruit flies I have in the vicinity. Also continued with LST, both plants seem to like it. Growth on Alaskan purple is slow due to the shitty Amazon light overjead I believe. Seemango has a mars hydro ts1000 overtop.

Some good growth this week. Finally saw some pistils on both plants. A little late but I’m relieved to see neither are accidental photos. Gave em their first bloom feed on day 41. Looking forward to the stretch this week. I accidentally snapped the main stem of the Alaskan purple on day 39, surprisingly, she’s bouncing back with a tape repair job. Posted a day early as I have a busy weekend ahead.

Is it possible that environmental factors such as medium, RH, temp, nutes, etc, can delay flowering time and thus increase overall grow time? Or is it only dependent on strain and Pheno?

Guaranteed. Grew 5 autos, 2 didn't drain well, got locked out. Burnt all the leaves up, pretty much gave up on them. Finished strong with great potency and better yield than the faster ones, but a couple weeks late, even though they were autos and should have been on the same timeline.

Yeah it's totally possible, that having lights not strong enough or a pot too small or not enough drainage for the roots. All of these things and more will determine how fast and tall your plant will grow. Also how often and how much you water, what you feed them, training, everything really! 🌱😁👍

Oh ya man if your to cold in that grow or your nutrients are off high or low pH then yes the over all outcome will be longer growing times ... All your environmental factors will effect growth rate and quality , where the pheno- type or strain is gonna be limiting factors like max yield , flowering times , and overall taste and smell... If she is happy then we are happy the best is just to practise restraint and patience this is a great hobby to get involved with cheers friend ..

Haven’t done an update in a few weeks. Major defoliation done to both plants over the past couple weeks. Fought eight some cal-mag overdose I believe.. but things seemed to have smoothed itself out and things have improved and looking promising. The Seemango is still in veg. Not sure what to do other then isolate her in another tent and try and different light cycle. 65 days in veg, my oh my.
