Outdoor organic soil grow in Central America so 12/12
The seed just popped after 2 weeks in kitchen roll on a plate ( when it goes this long i lightly spray with hydrogen peroxide to avoid seed rot ) I was just about to give up on it and i saw a tail !! now in a rapid rooter with Canna start in a shot glass catching a little sun .Will post a pic once i see it Im trying the grow now as , its the end of the rainy season and it will flower in the dry season .Added the Aurora innovations roots organics per their schedule
Sucker leaves on the seedling were stuck , so had to do some minor surgery to help it out .... i left it as long as i could naturally , but i could see the first set trying to grow and were turning brown as they were trapped ... good recovery but the first set of leaves are a little malformed as a result
. I can see the roots coming through the rapid rooter , so will transplant today
This one has come back well , the first two leaves are warped from being trapped earlier , but aside from that all is good I haven't watered as the soil is still damp
I assume due to the high humidity and daily rain
Only 5 days since last post but trying to get back to Sundays. Its been humid soil is still damp from last week so i'm waiting for it to dry out a little all good with this one nothing to report really . Its the beginning of butterfly season over here so , im keeping an eye on these guys and have neem and grapefruit seed on hand as id rather be ready ... caterpillars killed me in California a few years back , more for the mold they brought with the damage they did .
All seems to be going well
Suns out most of the day , plenty of breeze
i overdid it with the ph up to 11.5 and readjusted with ph down to 6.1 im following the nute scedule for the other plant so they all get the same waiting to see roots in the bottom of the pot before it transplant to a bigger pot
Devastation!!! My dog stripped all my plants ..... so much damage in 5 mins !!! Im going to run them out and see what happens , but i think im better off starting some new beans Gutted !!
Well this one caught up with the other
I was moving house had these guys sent indoors every once in a while then i had a work trip . fed em before i left on the 28th dec and when i returned they had started to flower not much growth but all seems well the pic was just before i fed them so a little hungry looking
Can a plant get shorter when flowering i swear it was 22" last week and 21" this week . Granted the buds are growing and it had a few days in a spare bedrom with natural light for a few days while people worked on property
This one also started maturing very quick and i suspect maybe also that dog trauma
still looks good
will give it another week then see if i should flush
Week 2 flush
cloudy and the odd amber , Im pulling yellowed leaves as we go to open the buds up still a small harvest due to the dog carnage but a good recovery Ill harvest end of the week !!
