Last week was our transition week. Pistils are now appearing so let’s call this week 1! Happy with this grow so far. Lots of defoliation and lollipopping to get some airflow...
It's been a wierd week. Found evidence of herming but some of what appears to be balls have pistals? Anyways, have ensured all light leaks fixed, removed any suspect balls and pressing on. This is bagseed so maybe genetic. I've ordered some seeds for the next round to ensure solid genes going forward. Worst case this becomes bubble hash. :)
Week three went well. Continue to find a few balls here and there but not much. A few odd mutations showing early week 4 (buds on fan leaves). Explosive growth of buds/pistals for me anyway. Happy with the progress. Stack em. Pack em and rack em!
The tent smells great this week. Very sweet, pineapple citrus. Buds continue to grow with new pistals daily. Lots of crystal showing now too. I didn’t defoliate as much as I’d hoped due to hermie sighting in week 3; but they’re looking good and I’m happy with grow three so far. So much learned, so much progress. Hopefully the results speak for themselves...
Serious increase in frostiness, smell in the tent, size of the buds. Amazing fresh, fruity smell. Continuing to throw out new pistals and old ones are turning orange. I fucked up my nutrients this week by using my k blaster instead of my monster flower but seems to be ok. Will get this fixed next week and run proper nutes for next two weeks before flipping back to my k blaster. Still learning so much but feel it's getting dialed in now.
I was away this week so no photos unfortunately. Happy all my work on automation paid off: was able to water these automatically for the whole week with no intervention. Reso and Drainage are big enough now for 7-8 days. Being able to monitor this remotely was a big stress relief; could see the ladies on camera, monitor temperature, humidity, lights, power consumption, fans, watering status and runoff. Wife is happy I can spend much less time in the tents now so it’s a win win.
Week 8! Home stretch now. I'm seeing a few nanners so I'm tempted to pull this week instead of next. Will give them a few days to see how they do with the new reservoir refill and go from there! Lots of crystal build up even if the nanners kick my butt.
Last week for these ladies. Mostly all milky white trichromes now with a touch of amber. Some bulking the last few days so will run out the nutrient tank and then a day or two of flushing and we're onto drying!
Had some issues with nanners due to a combination of bad genetics and light leaks. Still managed to pull just a tad over 16 ounces of decent smoke. Nice smell and taste. Surprised at how high I get considering the issues I faced. Live and learn! Overall I'd give myself a 7/10. If I could do it again, I'd start with better genetics, work on my light leaks and way way more defoliation. Still had fun and learned a ton! Here's to Grow 3!
