-Seed put directly into solo cup containing Pro-Mix BX and seedling emerged from soil 3 days later
-Once leaves reach the sides of the cup I will transplant into a 5 gallon fabric pot containing Pro-Mix HP
-Planning to mainline with at least 8 tops and will be growing with Biobizz and Neptune’s Harvest nutrients as well as using compost teas sporadically
-Growth has been slow off the start and I’m blaming my medium. Pro-Mix BX holds a lot of water and is great for later stages in an organic grow when the root system is more developed but seemingly not great here where I had dropped the seed directly in it.
-Once the roots develop more and leaves reach the sides of the cup I will transplant into a five gallon pot. I have used Pro-Mix BX a few times and do like it’s water retention but I think I am done with it and will go back to the HP this time.
-After 2 1/2 weeks of slow and stunted growth I decided to loosen my soil and transplant into a 5 gallon fabric pot containing Pro-Mix HP which has better drainage capabilities and less water retention than BX. After 1 day I am already starting to see a difference and leaves are recovering from the water retention as well. Pretty odd because I have never had this problem with BX before
-Noticed a bit of yellowing already on lower leaves too as Pro-Mix does not contain anything I added a small bit of Biobizz Grow and some calcium/magnesium
-A noticeable difference when transplanting to the 5 gallon pot. Plant seems much happier and growth is slowly starting to pick up. Hopefully I will be able to top it next week sometime
-Started adding some Neptune’s Harvest fish and seaweed mix fertilizer along with the Biobizz Bio-Grow
-After she finally picked up in growth I topped and removed everything below
-Comparing with pictures of other grows I estimate it is almost 2 weeks off schedule from the issues I experienced with stunting in the beginning.
-Once main stems grow longer I will begin tying them down to prepare for manifolding
-Growth is going well and everything is looking healthy but it’s pretty apparent now that this girl is a runt. In hindsight I should have taken the signs and grown it out naturally without any mainlining.
-Started holding down main stems with plant ties to keep canopy even and lightly defoliating every few days
-Will veg for another 2-3 weeks before flipping
-Growth going well and everything looking healthy
-Taking well to training and bending
-Lightly defoliating large leaves
-Will start transition to flower in a few days
-Starting to show a few pistils but still staying pretty small
-Started adding Biobizz Bio-Bloom and stopped Neptune’s Harvest Fish & Seaweed mix. Continuing with Bio-Grow and CaMg
-Starting to slowly flower with a little bit of stretch happening but it’s mainly staying small and bushy
-Added a bit of Marphyl Marine Phytoplankton to the mix
-Buds fattening up nicely and leaves starting to fade more
-Getting some really nice trichome production
-Only added a bit of calcium/magnesium to water this week
Despite the fact that it was a smaller plant the buds of this particular pheno ended up being nicely plump and dense.
The smell is like a skunky cheese with a bit of pineapple and the taste like a woody herb with a hint of fruitiness.
The effect starts with an overall relaxing feeling and then hits with a body buzz and a bit of cerebral effects. It works great for me in smaller doses for insomnia and in a bit of a larger dose for body aches and pains.
-Growth started off slow and it was apparent after a few weeks of life that I should have grown it out naturally without any mainlining or even topping it.
-Even though in hindsight I wish I had grown it naturally it did take very well to mainlining, had strong stems and no stem splits during training, and always bounced back quick from any defoliation.
-Had a minimal stretch during flower but nodes stayed very close together resulting in some nice chunky flowers
Nicely done!!👏👏👏. Stunning results! I just popped this bean. Do you think the time main-lining her was worth it? or would you grow her differently next time? She didn't appear to stretch much.
