I love how my critical started! (My other Didnt germ so I had to start another but decided to plant it straight to soil for once as I have never and wanted to see the results and I think she’s coming out! 1st day of germ was in water! By day 2 they had little taproots so I transferred to cotton pads with little root juice pre soaked in! And 3rd day planted them and the same day they poked there heads out! I fully recommend voodoo juice as you can see the start is amazing! I also have her under a 20w led it has adjustable settings so has been a dream! After this week passes I’ll be moving them into a tent with a 200w cfl for 2-3 weeks then onto the led for bloom! So I’m planning a 6x8 2 week flush 16 weeks altogether! Wish me luck!
Not much to say this week as they are young! All I’ve done is clean up my other 2 tents and re use them as my cfl was creating too much heat in a 50x50x100 so now it’s in my main tent and holding a comfortable temperature and humidity! I had some type of burn (not sure how to identify) but seems like I’ve placed fans correctly now and light too as I was using my 20w led now I’m onto my 200w cfl which is faulty and only half of it is working so 100w until my replacement comes as it was a brand new light! I’m happy to feel I’m off to a great start!
This week they shot right out and sprouted her side branches! I decided to top the plants too! I concentrate on giving them good foliage as humidity isn’t too high! I give them a good low stress train, bending down the stems gently and after a gentle foliage spray! I do this 3 times a day! They are also drinking quite quickly and I can see the roots have reached the bottoms of the pots so I’m guesstimating I’ll transfer them in 2 weeks or less into there final 20L airpots! And as you see from my diaries they are not accurate to the week as I added the germing period! So I’ve added dates on my photos when they signify a week gone! (7,14,21,28 and so on)
Love these criticals! They’re quite smaller than the others and shows it’s Indica trait with its fat bossy leaves 🍁 the younger one seems to be twisting but that doesn’t worry me! I believed my light makes the plant deficient (not sure how don’t know the science lol) maybe some one may enlighten me because my last plants in that tent under that light were a little limp and flimsy and I have made sure air circulation is correct and I noticed I started to get fan burn so have moved the fans further and also added my 2 piece led as it allows me focus Some light in areas of the plant and it’s worked as they are so much stronger in 24hrs! I’ll carry this way through to flower where I’ll add my old light which didn’t have enough blue but won’t matter by then 🤔 as I’ll be flowering! If anyone can add feel free I love learning and I’m hoping I can show all I have learned in these diaries! Happy growing buddies also after transfer gave them my own compost tea with added voodoo juice!
Has anyone had any grow complications due to a light? I don’t want the problem to be the light I have taken a precaution. But if it comes to it I’d rather order a new one that’s not like this as it’s the first time I’ve seen orange and yellow added? Am I over thinking it?
Dont worry . Your Plants will grow. thats for sure. Your lights are the "Older generation"of LED that means, until last year. the most LED have been looking and made light like this one.... I think you havent paid so much money for it, and its absolutely ok to grow with those LIghts. Quantumboards are the actual Generations of LED.....And they have a great Spectrum of Light, they Look like Sunny Day on the Beach. For more Information look in the comments of hit the reply button
I have made a video to represent the 4 Weeks and four week mark (28 days old) this week has been pure progress and training! I actually made a boo boo this morning before feeding on 1 of my criticals and had to remove my pipe cleaners and postpone training as I have split the main stem into 2 (after reading about that today SMH) but I’ve dealt with this before and I shall wait for it to heal I have used plant ties and tightened it to hold back in place and now waiting game maybe 3-5 days while healing and I’ll scrog from there as I’m looking to go 12-12 at the 6 week mark! This week I have took off the ties and made the transition to 12-12 since Friday! They have stretched fairly but not too much yet! I gave them a pre flower Defoliation too which exposed the base making it easier to water and if I’m right they’ll shoot right up and put all their energy into making flowers in about 5 days or so from now! So wish me luck as I’m on my way now!
Well she’s officially I flower 🌸 nothing but great things to say she literally sprung up a few inches or more in a week and 10th day 12-12 she’s in flower! All signs are healthy and am planning there next feed which is the first flower feed so I’ll add Sensizym and bud factor X... one plant is 3 days younger and it shows a little bit but not in vigor! I can’t wait for the next 8 weeks got plans for these babies like I said in the beginning I hope I get to show all I learned in these and I’m not doing bad at all! Hope you like buddies!
Crazy pace these girls are running at! They’ve slowed down the stretch now but hasn’t stopped me making some scrog edits and especially after defol I’m expecting great things! I’ve added my nutes now adding rhino skin and bud factor x also sensizym and big bud! So can’t wait to see what these do as I’ve never really used other nutes or tested them during flower so this is awesome for me to see how the flowers are generating so much quicker and the smell when you defol was lush! What is there to say just look at these flowers 2 weeks in! They’re gawjuss literally and have a smell already not strong but strong enough! It has stopped stretching but not fully as every couple days I’ve gained a centimetre! Hope you like and if you like hit me with a like thank you and merry Xmas buddies!
Flowers are coming 😍... I chose to feed less nutes as my ppm was at 1580 and wasn’t prepared to use that so I are another mix with different nutes at 1380 if my water wasn’t at 236 It would be lower! But either way no complaints can’t wait for the coming weeks!
Not much to say but more more buds! Lol they coming fast like ferdi 🤣 all seriousness though they are forming they’re orange hairs now ALL in time (except Wedding gelato (Sativa) formed earlier! Day 36 in flower They’re really forming nicely, lots of orange hairs now! I’d say over this next week they’ll take shape and they already smell so goooood! Strong pungent smell like proper coffee shop lol 😉
For starts the smell 😍 it’s so nutty and dank and skunky coming from these girls! They have really took they’re shape and are so hard like rock hard and still filling! 2 weeks to go before flush!
Critically correct lol seriously she smells so strong like stardawg tbh but danker 😉 and the buds are so dense already and I’m going to need to tie them tomorrow as I can see them snapping if they sway too hard with all that weight! End result I’m sure is going to be amazing!
After today I will start flush as soon as they’re ready for their feed! The triches are cloudy and I’m sure like my last during flush I’ll get some amber ones so it’ll be about 50/50 if I time it right! I’m happy with everything they stink of nutty sweet fuel almost like stardawg tbh! I can’t wait to weigh up these as they are heavy had to tie up support and I’m going to do with the rest as one bud tipped over but I saved it in time lol 😝 now I just have to wait! I will be using flawless finish and then water every time after!
I’ll be most definitely harvesting these next week! I will continue with water from now until they are ripe and ready! They are absolutely smelling of some nuttiness and dank fuel ⛽️ like stardawg smells too! The buds are starting to swell too so thinking next 7 days I’ll be ready!
Next upload will be harvest hope you like buddies! I’ll be hang drying this time! As I’ll have space and a tent to do it in as before I didn’t and used the brown bag method! But I can maintain between 14c - 18c with a humidity of 42 percent! So I’ll hang dry this time!
Any suggestions?? Let me know! I’ll be putting 2 fans on them for air circulation and a air vent only sucking out as it will draw air in on its own and keep the humidity lower in the tent while drying!
This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds!
Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!
