Barneys OG zkittles & Purple Punch

Barneys farm Autos for me again👍🌱 absolutely stoked with the results on my first grow. Enjoying the bud so much especially the pineapple express which once cured properly is an amazing smoke👍 I'm trying 3 Zkittles og and a Purple Punch! Last time was my first grow and as delighted as I was at ending up with 13oz of nice bud from 4 plants there was lots of errors and room for improvement. Couple of changes to the set up. I've added air domes to the bottoms of the pots, they claim to increase yields by 20% so worth a pop! this time as soon as the roots take hold I will be switching on the autopots as I have a 2 week holiday booked! Seeds were soaked for 24hrs and then popped straight into a poly cup of pure coco dampend with grow more root boost. These were then covered with cling film until they hatched. 4 days later all 4 were through and went into the tent under the shade of the last one I had finishing. Nutrients for this grow are going to be GHE Flora, Grow and Micro just for the simplicity and because I dont want any salty/silcon build ups blocking the auto pot system. I will add in terpinator too as flowering gets going. My biggest worry is leaving them for over 2 weeks. From watching others I'm thinking I'm going to need a 100ltr res and I currently have a 45!

No problems so far, looking nice and green and sprouting away. Added a couple of drops of grow into the water, just giving them enough to dampen the coco. Cheers for looking in👍

Plain sailing this week. Ladies are coming along nicely gaining strength day by day. I probably would have left these a few more days but the clock is ticking to get these roots down to the bottom of the autopots before I go on holiday! Simply score the poly cup with a Stanley knife n pop apart. Popped into some pre soaked coco and perlite with a little bit of growmore, shogun terra grow and calmag. Have switched on the air domes but will continue to hand water until I leave for holiday. Thanks for looking in👍

Really happy again this week as my last grow the seedlings seemed to take ages to grow into the pots but these have shot up straight away. One week to go till I leave them and everything seems to be on track. Added a small greenhouse heater into the tent as the night temperature is dropping rapidly as autumn sets in. Well this is it, off on holiday for 2 weeks tommorow so have converted an 80ltr dustbin and filled it to the brim ready to switch the autopot system on. Have switched to the GHE nutrients for this grow so they are in the res, love the simplicity of this range and dosing chart on the bottle is a plus👍 Apologies for the crap photos but in a rush to get sorted! Fingers crossed, timers checked etc etc!👍😘

Wow! First thing I did when I got back was to check the tank.......bone dry!!! I was scared to open the tent but then shocked when I did! Only my second grow but this is a totally different ball game with the autopots. Seems like they have just fed non stop. I had the light up high just incase and dont know if it's made them shoot or it's the system or nutrients but there deffo alive and that's the main thing! Will get in and give them a good thin out to let the air circulate a bit better and some light through but Hallilouya they survived and don't look to be suffering from anything. Unbelievable in two weeks tho👍 thanks for looking in

Looking a lot better after a trim but still sucking up the juice! Between the 4 they are drinking about 50 litres a week! I might be losing to evaporation as well though as I have a heater running in there too. All 4 seem happy enough and all 4 are completely different. The purple punch looks leaf wise very like 2 of the zkittles but has grown a bit taller. One of the zkittles (the one in the pics) has much darker leaves with sharper edges and is steaming ahead in the budding! I'm developing a soft spot for her! New bottle of terpinator arrived today so it's gone into the mix as well to hopefully get those buds super frosty sticky n stinky. As always thanks for looking in👍

All was going smoothly this week until I went in for a look yesterday morning and one of the autopot feeds had came off! It totally flooded the bottom of the tent as I'd just filled it with 50ltr. Air pump was sitting on the floor and is knackered and tripped all the electrics! Only about 8 hours according to the timers so hopefully no harm done. Will get a replacement asap as dont want the roots to drown at this stage. The zkittles I'm really getting excited about as its stinking, fingers actually smell of skittles after touching and the buds are starting to link up nicely and fatten up. Since adding in the terpinator it's getting nice n frosty. Purple punch is also doing well with plenty of bud sites and a sweet fruity smell oozing out.

Suffering from a bit of light burn at the top so fitted a different bulb holder that has let me raise the light a bit. Not much change apart from that and hopefully all going to plan. Cheers for looking in👍

Everything is starting to get really milky with the odd amber appearing so started to flush 5 days ago. I had to snip the main cola from the zkittles as a bit of rot started to appear! Had this in my last grow too but again only in one plant and only in the main cola? None the wiser really as to why. Smells are really starting to build up and the zkittles was the strongest but the Purple punch is fast catching up with a really sweet fruity humm. Thanks for looking in👍
