applied neem oil
defoliated for 1st time since flip
13 incredible bulks under
two 600w hps aircooled on a light mover with 18" of track to move on between stoppers
two stationary vertically hung (smd) 9 band led (more for the extra colors than pushing ppfd)
co2 burner runs 900-1100
not my first run with strain
It yields like a monster and has a unique almost industrial "skunky rubber" in veg that makes me itch and sneeze
and talk about vigor single best grower i've ever had in 15+ years
i had a bulk clone out grow a mother plant (it was rqs- special kush#1) even though the mother plant had a month growth on it
come time to flower that little clone was 2nd largest (largest being its mother it came from)
*not downing RQS I am big fan of their line up*
needs defoliating again, using lucas formula at 950 ppm (0.5 conversion) ph running yellow orange(sunflower orange i call it) since start best guess 5.6-5.7 dropped digital meter for the manual drops a while back best thing I've done since switching to coco mix. light meter reads 800 in middle of canopy and 390ish and the edges the lux meter isn't calibrated with smd led in mind , but i have to believe that they are at last helping as all sides finish the same time and relative quality . this week is the chunk up week , but usually see a bigger leap in thickness in week 8 . smells are bit off this run (maybe its lack of led for small time) they are fruitier , normally its a industrial rubber skunk mixed with sour fruit vomit and when its curing about day 10ish almost reminiscent of fried onions not so much onion-like but the fried caramelized smell of some good home cooking, keeps that for most of its jarred life giving way to earthy cedar notes, i still get excited as i open the jar though it isn't as potent a smell as it once was.
@AsNoriu, did sog last run it did ok, but i do love pulling my babies thru netting. Dr krippling becoming one my top breeders. Going to see if i can get my hands on afghan cow to compliment the 80:20 Indica heavy bulk.
