Day 6: placed 1 inch rockwool inside 3 inch rockwool and molded them together with a toothpick then placed inside 3.75 inch netpots. Using seedling nutes in a squirt bottle until roots start showing through the bottom.
Day 8: Increased nutrient formulation. Soaked in new nutrient solution for 30 minutes occasionally raising the cube to drain.
Day 12: a few good roots showing through. Will place into DWC in a couple days.
Day 13 roots showing through the 3 inch rockwool. Transferred from the propagation tray to the DWC bucket with Botanicare Kind nutes inside. The is a fill line that reaches 1 inch below the net pot which is my goal. Starting out touching the net pot to stimulate the roots then will try to keep an inch or so of air between the net pot and the waterline.
Day 23: Topped just above the 5 pair of leaves.
Day 25: Removed lower first pair of leaves and cleaned up the branch. Only 4 nodes remain. Noticed a couple mold spots beginning to form a placed the light covers over the plant holes as well.
Sour has been slower than my other one from germination but within a day of each other. The cleaning up of the branch and removal of the first pair was enough to get this one to start drooping a little. I did a very light test on the biggest leaf which was weak. Root base is about half of the tank underneath and the roots are now coming up above the rockwool since I put the light covers on. Will begin LST next week pending a full recovery.
Day 28: Topped her for the second and final time taking two tops this time. Should make 4 main colas.
Day 35: caught up to the sativa after I dropped the light. Doing well post topping. Roots are coming up from the rockwool. I pinched the one up top and my fingers came back wet.
