Seeds popped through the soil day 3 after germ. Lights on 24/0. Seedlings take very little water, if anything I'll give them a little spritz until they get going. Soil is a mix of FFOF, Coco and Perlite. I put them under some opaque plastic gladware containers with vent holes poked in the sides for a little circulation. It's helping to keep the humidity up directly around the ladies. I gave a light watering the evening of day 5. First actual watering since day 2. Lights are (2) Optic 2 Gen 3 lamps, with just the COBs going. Temps are constant around 75-78 F. Humidity stays between 55 and 60 percent in the tent, I would assume a bit higher under the domes. I'll see how they take to the watering today. If things look good in the morning I'll remove the gladware domes. ***Update. Domes removed, lights have been lowered to right around 29" above plants. Things are moving along 👍🏼👍🏼

Should I try and help them out by removing the shell, or just let them chillax and enjoy the humidity and light?

Hello Do not touch the hull! Let nature do very light watering and cover your plant with a cup for three or four days that will make it a small greenhouse To keep it with a humidity of 70 to 80% May the strength be with you 💪

This is my first grow. How do things look at day 5? This is the fifth day from germed seeds placed in the soil. I think things look ok, but I have nothing to base that on. Nothing but pH water at 5.8-6.0. ladies are right around 2" tall.

@Phishman84 They look great and are reaching for the light so may be a good time to lower it slightly Not so much that it can heat up the grow space and stress the plant but enough so that the plant doesnt grow too leggy in an attempt to get more light.

Things are going ok. Plant #2 still has this "purple stem issue", which I don't know if it's genetic, or over watering, or a deficiency. I'm going to let things dry out for a couple days and see if that helps things out. If anyone knows please get at me. #2 also has some leaf curl on the new growth. It looks healthy, but is a little shorter than plant #1. #1 looks great. New growth leaves are praying upwards and color is good. Lights are up to full power 400w from (2) Optic 2 Gen 3 lamps. For my first grow, I don't really know what to expect, but things seem to be ok 🤷‍♂️.Week 2 update: first feed was evening of Day 11. Just CalMag, Kangaroots and Microbrew. I checked things the morning of day 12 and no sign of burn and growth is still accelerating. I added in some Big Bloom and Grow Big the evening of Day 13. Lights moved down to 26". Having to water almost daily, 1 cup per plant, per watering. I'm going to let things dry out a bit and water more, less frequently. #2 is still shorter, but looking just as good as #1, for the most part. I noticed some heat stress, the elevated edges of the leaves, so I moved the lights back up to 30". Hopefully this helps. Thanks for dropping in 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Started the week off with some light/heat stress. I think they were a little close to the lamps and we're getting bombarded by light, not heat. I've got the fan going right across them and the air between is right at 78-82 degrees, so I think the lights were just to much down around 26". They're back up at 36" and it's actually helping out quite a bit. They're getting a little bigger every day, so I'm happy with that. I won't give them anymore water or food for 2 and a half days or so and then just water. I'll see how she's doing after that.****End of week update. Day 21 brings lots of bud sites, 6-10 main branch sites per plant so far under the LST. First signs of preflower pistils and good veg growth outwards. Hopefully she starts to stretch up from here on out, now that most of the LST is set. I'll probably feed for the week in a couple days. It's been pure 6.1-6.3 pH water for about 4 days now. Excited for this next week.

Beginning of week 4 brings the beginnings of preflower on lady #2 and increased growth for both. I watered and fed this morning, so we'll see how it goes over the next couple days. Water intake has increased and they're now getting almost 1/2 gallon every other day or so. I began adding some Open Sesame to lady #2 as it still has some nitrogen for growth, but also has a good amount of phosphorus for bud site development. When lady #2 shows a few more pistils, I'll add it to her water as well. I backed off the Grow Big this week to see how things go. Stay tuned, updates throughout the week 🙌🏼🙌🏼. ***End of week 4 update. Through LST and a defoliation, these ladies still managed to double in heigth and develop about 15 main bud sites, per plant. I watered each one well on day 28, 1 gal a piece with 5mL/g of Terpinator. Next feed in a couple days. Hopefully they continue to climb over the next couple of weeks. Both ladies have begun flowering, so I've lowered temps to around 77° and dropped the humidity down to between 45 and 55%. Fingers crossed. Peace 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Week 5 starting out strong. Flowering has begun and these ladies are in their stretch. Growth is somewhere around an inch a day and bud sites are starting to pistil up. No major LST or defoliation, just exposing some lower bud sites. Happy Thanksgiving my friends, to you and yours! ****Week 5 Update**** Vertical growth has slowed down and bud growth is accelerating. Ladies look healthy and I've switched the light cycle to 18/6. There are some pistils on upper buds starting to turn. I don't know if this is ok this early. I've posted a question and provided pictures. Thanks for stopping in! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I've noticed some pistils starting to turn on the upper bud sites, see the last photo above. My question is, is this ok only 2 weeks in to flower, or have I burnt the pistils with feeding, or lights? It's my first grow, so I'm trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks!!

Hey brother this could be perfectly normal my last run of autos had hairs turning amber pretty early on it was just a characteristic of the strain I was growing .. yes the lights being to close can and will cause that darkening . They honestly look very good man and for your first grow very nice should be some good buds I live that cheese flavour as well ..

Week 6 starting off well. Noticed a Calcium/Magnesium deficiency starting on lady #1. Upped CalMag to 4mL/g and I'll use this every watering. This should help out some of those pistils from maturing too early as well, see day 36 photo. Trich production is coming along nicely and touching the leaves leaves a nice sweet cheesy aroma on the fingers. I figure another 5 weeks or so and she'll get the chop. ****Week 6 update. Still working on Calcium deficiency with lady #1, but she's growing, so I'll take it. #2 is stacking it up real nice. Hopefully we can keep this up for another couple weeks before having to start flushing. Keep on keepin' on!! Thanks for stopping in 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Lady #2 is doing well. #1 has a Calcium deficiency. I think the soil pH was low. I flushed it and got the pH back up, but we'll see how things go. Other than that, #2 keeps putting on weight. I figure I'll start the flush here in about another week or so. Cheers 👍🏼👍🏼

Beginning of week 8 is starting off pretty good. #2 continues to be frosty and put on weight. #1 isn't any worse, so we'll keep limping her along. Hairs are starting to turn. I'm going to feed lightly this week and probably start the two week flush next week-ish 🙌🏼🙌🏼. ***** Week 8 update*****. Things continue to progress. Lady #1 continues to plug along. She's not nearly as nice as #2, thanks to me burning the shit out of her somehow. Oh well, you live and you learn. I'll do better next time. I'm done feeding except for the Bembe and Terpinator over the next week. After that it's plain pH water for another week after that. She should be finished by then. Thanks for stopping in!!

Beginning of week 9 is underway. #2 continues to pack on size and weight. I'll be starting the flush end of this week. #1 continues to plug along. She's not nearly as large as her sister, but she's nice nonetheless. Both ladies continue to darken up those pistils. Trichomes are about 50/50 clear and milky. I'll just flush and check them daily. Barring some disaster, we're cruising towards the finish. ****Week 9 update**** Things have really moved along nicely this week. Trichomes are all milky, pretty much and some have turned amber. Tonight is her last light cycle. Tomorrow morning starts their 48 hours in the dark. Then it's chop-chop time. Can't wait!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thanks for stopping by!

Week 10 is pretty much just the 48 hours of darkness and harvest day. Being as this was my very first grow ever, I am pretty pleased with the outcome. The quality seems to be pretty decent, even if the total yield might not be stellar. I made plenty of mistakes and I feel like I stunted their vertical growth a bit. Through it all, these Seedsman genetics kept on ticking. So much fun!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🍻🍻🍻🌲🌲🌲 Stay tuned for the harvest report, before and after dry time. ****Week 10 Update**** been drying now for about 5 days and took a little sample. I'll chop the rest in a couple days and give a harvest report. So frosty!!!!!❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
