ok guys so i was thinking what kind of fruity weed i wanna be smoking on Christmas and i immediately thought of Blackberry from Fastbuds for my indica selection! so lets see what i can do with this one, she initially stretched a little more than i like but im sure we will be ok
ok guys so the Fastbuds Blackberry is coming along nicely so far. she has some nice side branching and i have begun ponytailing after i took these pics to encourage her side branches to grow out and up more.🙏
ok guys so the Fastbuds Blackbery Kush has REALLY grown alot this week! i think this might turn out to be a BIG plant! i can only hope i keep her healthy for the grow, should be easy as long as we dont have any unexpected mishaps haha
ok guys so the Fastbuds Blackberry is just growing to the sky, the growth/stretch on this strain is something! I also noticed she will be a PURPLE pheno which im very excited for! She is still growing about 1.5" a day so lets see how big she ends up getting🙏
ok guys so im having a Calcium lockout problem on the blackberry kush so i flushed her and let her dry out for a couple days. her drinking is starting to pick back up and i have been foliar feeding her for the past few days a couple times a day to try and keep the deficiency at bay. today i fed her with a almost full strength flower feed with some added calmag. lets see how she responds... the trichs are forming and she is getting the most dreamy SWEET BLACKBERRY smell to her! i really really hope i can get her back on track so i can smoke these amazing smelling buds!
ok guys so the fastbuds blackberry kush is back to flowering and building her buds, WHEEW!! She has the sweetest crushed berry/grape smell coming from her that is mouth watering. one thing i never liked about purple strains is the density of the buds but on this run i plan on using either Green Planet Dense or Mendacino Avalanche to tighten the buds up at the end to see if that helps at all. it cant really hurt to try right?!?!? now that i got her better i will give her some mammoth P with the next bloom feed🙏
ok guys so i got a new camera and am still learning how to use it so bear with me on the quality of the pics, more specifically the focus on some pics. But about the plant she is doing just fine! she is on flush and starting to get a fade on her leaves. Her smell is predominantly berrys but not as sweet as it used to be, now it is more of a menthol/piney berry . She should be harvested in the next week i would say making this a fast grow! she is the 1st of the 4 plants/strains i germinated to finish up. most others either are still all white hairs and just starting to flower👍
ok guys so the Fastbuds Blackberry Kush is flushing out and finishing up. I will harvest her on day 57 which is this saturday because thats when i have time. i could honestly harvest her now with her all cloudy trichs but i want some more amber in there for a nice night time smoke. I added some molasses to her last feed to sweeten the buds up even more. i cant wait to taste these buds when they are fully cured, its gonna be a unforgettable terpine experiance! The buds REEK of grape jolly ranchers and some pine/menthol. MMM MMMM MMM!!!!
I'll get some pics of her Saturday before harvest and get them up when i get a chance after the harvest.🙌
Smoke report: im really liking this strain guys! at 1st you get a little calm cerebreal stimulation, like someone is petting/stroking your brain and your muscles immediately relax as you melt away the pain. I have chosen this strain as a mainstay in my indica selection i like it that much, its very effective for my insomnia!🙏
ive smoked about 3 grams so far, i couldnt keep my hands out of it!
ok guys so the Fastbuds Blackberry Kush was a GREAT grow even with the lockout problems in early flower! i can say that its highly resistant to grower mistakes thats for sure. She exhibits great early vegetative growth then sets into flower FAST!!! i harvested my girl at day 56 and she was definitely ready with some nice ambering in the trichomes for my liking. Also i have to note that she had burgundy trichome stalks which were so cool to see under my microscope i wish i had a macro lens for my new camera to get a pic of them. ive included 2 pics of the blackberry that was in the same pot as the black pheno just so you can see another phenotype(i sow 2 seeds and choose the best after a week) she was stressed from me ripping her roots out but recovered in a 2gal pot and gave me some AMAZING organic bud
@Ted, since i have switched to them my plants have been bigger and healthier than ever. i HONESTLY think COBs and quantum boards will be the future of lighting for growing. once you learn your veg and flower distances with the COBs you will see 1-3" of growth a day strain dependent. im using Citizen 1818's and 1212's at 3500K 90cri running at 50W each in a 5x4 area
@Tripaholic88, just wanted to know if you like em? Ive used them for 2-3 grows but still not really sure if they perform better than my HS1s. I got 3 3500ks 2x55W & 1x100W....sometimes I think they are not that good for VEG.
Really nice work man! This purple tone its just amazing. How much liters of water did you give them ?? I thought 7ml of fertlizer was too much for an auto. I just bought all remo nutrients line and also got seeds of this blackberry strain. Any tip?
@CatnipGrower, oh man sorry that has to be wrong, it would be more inline with 1-2ml/l on them like the base nutes. its a nice easy grow with some tasty purple buds! good luck!
@CBD_Sweden, i did sow 2 seeds and the smaller one i ripped out of the soil and put in a 2 gal to see what would happen with the stress and that pheno had nice density 8/10 that started green but purpled up at the end and has a more fresh creamy blackberry smel that i actually favor so im hoping to grow out the (green) pheno next time.
What brand/ type of LEDS do you use. I've been using MH & HPS, but will likely switch to LEDS for better light penetration, efficiency, and longevity. Is there a brand(s) you highly recommend? Also I noticed you got a pretty large tent from your vids so do you use more than 1? And what size is your tent. I'm moving to a better location so I'm looking to upgrade.
oh yea @CAMOGROWN, Chemdawg or stardawg is a great one to put ya out! also girl scout cookies! all excellent choices especially if they get some ambering in flower when you harvest
@Tripaholic88,same bro anxiety ad insomnia is such a fucker to deal with until you wash is all away with a good smoke! I found bubble kush to be THE best for sleep issues, I end up falling asleep after 2 joints lol the auto chemdawg I've got going right now is supposed to be sedative as well but I'm a while off harvest yet :(

thanks @Nemobuds, purple strains tend to not be that dense but yet a more lose flower formation so im not expecting any serious weight but i should have some potent purple berrylicious buds to smoke here soon!

Best cob actually are citizen clu 058 3500 k running on 2800ma meanwell 54v have 150 Watt, light its better than 4x cxb3590 running on 1400ma big penetration and plants well grow
yup i like my citizens but Luminous got the Luminus CXM22 that is just as efficient as citizen and cheaper @Amsterdam88, i think that may be my next fixture... but im sure they will be "outdated" technology and there will be better ones.... seems to happen every couple months at the rate COBS are developing and such
Nice one mate, i checked all your grows and i rate them 5/5 with my modest growing experience. What wonders me is does the terpinator make a good use to you and can you clearly spot the difference in tastes and smell between all your plants? I mean, does every girl got her own characteristic smell and taste? I am asking coz i got a comment on my insta from a guy claiming he did a side by side grow and realized it alters natural terpenes production and made his plants smell/taste the same - he said like terpinator..
@WhiteWidow, i really like terpinator and its not pricey which is great! and no all of my strains taste different.. terpinator just enhances/boosts their natural terpines and essential oils, and not adding additional flavors per say. give it a try!
