Dwc_gardener So had to ditch last grow due to root rot, starting a fresh, gonna keep a close eye on res temps, think that was the downfall. So these girls have been rooting for a week in rockwool and in dwc for 4 days.

Dwc_gardener Girls are doing well, now running the 400. Vanilla kush looks like she might stretch a little, where as the cookies kush is looking very compact. Gonna do a res change in next couple of days and increase res to 70l.

Dwc_gardener So I did a res change the start of the week, girls didn't react well, wilted during the change, but soon recovered. But they just seem to have a stunted look since, ok there's a little bit of tip burn so I'd think over fert. Ec was steady at 0.9ec before change, replaced with 1.0ec now back down to 0.8 and they do seem a little happier.

Dwc_gardener So the girls have recovered well from their little over feed, and are looking good. Trimmed off a little of the foliage underneath and have now put in the scrog net to try and control the vanilla kush. Res change also in next couple of days.

Dwc_gardener Put scrog net in last week, vanilla kush filled her half, still wanting on the cookies. 1 more week veg then flip, also cut daylight hours by 2, now 16/8.

Dwc_gardener Start of week 2, plenty of stretch to contend with. Girls seem happy, drinking 20l every 2 days. Changed to plant magic dwc. Hairs starting to show, alls good.

Dwc_gardener Not much to report this week, girls have been going crazy. Drinking and eating loads. These two drink 10l everyday so res change every week for sure. Bud sites popping up everywhere. Hopefully the stretch is over now, vanilla kush is stacking up nicely. Cookies doesn't like food or to stretch so she's sort of struggling compared to the vanilla, she still ok tho. Hoping to see some explosive bud growth in the next few weeks. Peace ✌️

Dwc_gardener Not much to report this week. Girls are still drinking lots. Buds on vanilla kush are abit stretched but I'm sure their fill in. Cookies are small but compact.

Dwc_gardener Sorry I missed a couple of weeks. Girls starting to put on mass now. Don't like the food much, no more than 1.2 ec. cookies is very dense. Vanilla kush is more airy but super frosty. Just a case of checking readings and levels everyday, other than that just sit back and wait.

Beautiful! Your scrog setup is A1, man. I was wondering with running two plants in that DWC container have you ran into any problems with the roots tangling up down below? or one plant drinking more than the other. I want my next grow setup to pretty much resemble yours with two plants in a container, plus scrog. Looking forward to see how week 3 treats ya, good luck bro.

@@Colorado, thanks for your kind words. No issues with the roots really, more of an issue with up top running two different strains, different stretch and growth rate. Also nutrient requirements are different, the cookies has tip burn and the vanilla slightly hungry. I think next run I would be tempted to run same strain. Good luck with your grow. ✌️🏼️

That vanilla really filled out nicely 👍 thats the only problem with running multiple strains under a light sometimes one grows a bit slower than the other. Keep up the good work I will be checking back by to see their progress

If you were having root rot issues yes definitely watch your temps bro. Also, try and run UC Roots which will help keep the root rot in check. Good luck to you👊

I'm actually running the same strain right now "Cookies Kush" from Barneys Farm. It's seems to be a really hardy strain.
