@Hawkbo, have you ever heard of an extension plug with thermocouple probe? The one I use this has two plug-ins: one for a heater and one for an air conditioner. Basically you program a temperature you want to keep (say 70) and how much you're ok with the temp varying (say +/- 5). Then when the temperature is off of the set point by more than the variation, it turns the heater or cooler on or off. Works like a charm. Got mine for $48 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B011296704?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image
@Njaak, I know my heat is fucked it keeps cutting out it either gets way to hot or just shuts down and get freezing then I gotta go turn it on and off at the breaker and it mostly happens while I'm asleep for whatever reason, real pain in the beanbag
Unlucky mate I've had some bad luck lately with dodgy genetics as well. Not hermies though they are devastating to a full tent it's a tragedy when they infect an entire crop.
Oh no...say it ain't so!
Man, I learned a terribly painful lesson last year when I hermied a whole tent full of afghan clones...even the mamma went to the dark side😰
I figured out the problem only by chance...
Only when I installed a second nanny cam in my tent did I discover that the 840nm IR lights on those security cams/nanny cams STAY ON when it's dark, whether you are connected to the camera or not....it's literally flooding the entire tent with a spectrum of light we cannot see, but that plants do!
I was actually leary that it would "wake up" my plants, so only ever connected during their dark for a few seconds every now and then to remotely check the temps and RH. Little did I know that the garden (in the eyes of the plants) was all lit up whether I was connected or not...
Solution:
Put your camera on the same timer as your lights so that it is offline until your lights come back on..
