Nov 23- Days are getting colder, allowing me to move the lights closer to the plants. I FIM'd both WW#1 and NL#1 on Day 14, both seem to be recovering well despite the broken shoots on both, and the deficiencies on both. I am aware that you're not supposed to top or FIM a plant with deficiencies but i am doing it myself since this is my first grow so i can see first hand what the results are with an auto flower.
Nov 24- Deficiencies are definetly getting better. There are some leaves almost or barely touching the soil, not sure what im supposed to do there but they are slowly moving them up so i hope by tomorrow their tips are no longer in contact with the soil. The plants seem to love the light being closer as well.
Day 17 / Nov 25- My PH Pen was broken, the PH at the roots was coming out blood red (4.0 or less) when i checked using another method, and the PH going in was also blood red. So pretty much i think the plants are suffering from nute lock out, which i then tried to fix with way way way too many nutes. noob mistake, because a noob is what i am. I flushed all 5 plants with quadruple checked PH of 5.8 plain water. the PH of the roots of the plants is now 5.5-6.0 instead of 4.0 or less. going to wait till the pots get lighter then feed a 1/4 or 1/8 dose of nutes again and work up to half the recommended dose, hopefully they all survive. Good news is the tape is cut off the branch that was broken on WW#1 and its completely holding itself up now and beginning new growth.
Day 18 / Nov 26- No new signs of anything on any plant. took some before and after photos 30 hours apart from the flush and theres no new damage, and increased growth. WW#2 has almost caught up to WW#1 in size, and WW#3 is lagging behind a bit.
Day 19 / Nov 27- Easing into a feeding schedule again 2 days post flush. Plants are growing substantially every night, with no new damage appearing on any of the new growth.
Super interested to see what all the abuse and mutilation to WW#1 does to the yield compared to the 2 non topped and non snapped plants.
End of week comment: Things are starting to grow great and preflowers showing on WW#1. leaves are curling a bit i think its from heat, going to raise lights up by another inch
if possible, Judging by photos, roughly estimating, can anyone tell when WW1 will be ready for harvest? (Recent photos are marked WW1 week 9 end). Lower buds are very loose but have some brown hairs. Tichomes look clear / cloudy to me through 40x loupe. Cheers!
Hi MemesBeforeDreams
Hi buddy looking at your pictures weeek 11.
You have 2 maximum 3 weeks more to go.
Your plants looks nearly fully matured if you plan doing flush I think now is your time.
Fully matured plants
1-Eye inspection 90% brown hairs plants are matured ( old style method )
2-you have a 10% purple/amber Trichomes and 90% milky white Trichomes this can be inspected with jewellery loop. Cheap options available online.
3- Pros use Microscope 🔬 for perfect timings for harvest.
Hope this helps and good luck
