Finally got her going! Had some issues with germination, this is my 3rd attempt.. not sure what was going on but issues are all sorted now! I'm using 2xQB96(v2)@150w/ea in a(n almost) 2x3x5 grow tent. While a seedling this girl will be tucked into the corner. Flowering zone is in the middle of the tent as that's where the light intensity is highest, on the opposite side to the seedling zone is where I veg due to it being the medium amount of light intensity. I plant directly into the medium and since it was so dry (damn snow) I used a humidity dome. My medium is Coco coir with no more than 15% pearlite. I use Gaia Green organic slow release amendments, this is mixed into the medium prior to planting. This ratio is 4TBSP per 1 gallon of medium (20TBSP for 5 gal). I use 75% 4-4-4 and 25% 2-8-4 at this time. I also added 1 tbsp of Mineralised Phosphate (Bat Guano) for root development. I'm excited about this grow as I am much more experienced at controlling the environment.

Nothing much happened this week and I apparently forgot to take a single photo... Death Stranding came out and absorbed me for this week and a little of the next. Week 4 is business as usual!

She is growing so nice, it's amazing what a consistently good environment does for the growth of a plant 😜 I had a busy previous week (Death Stranding) and apparently forgot to take any photos.. sorry guys! I can guarantee nothing too exciting happened though, she just grew at a constant rate.

Still growing strong! Thanks environment! Started bending the main stem and twisting and bending the side branches to encourage stronger growth for bigger bud development. I'm hoping not to have to tie her down until flower, then the primary use of tying it down will be to spread her out. Top dress is coming up! Probably do it on day 35 Because grow diaries loves changing my settings after I've posted this is some of my actual specs. Medium: Coco+perlite DAY TEMP: 24°c (confirmed with new thermometer) Night temp: 15°c Humidity range: 45-55% RH (I've gotten good at timing the refills so there aren't massive drops anymore) Water pH range: 6.5-6.8 (appropriate for this style of grow) My ACTUAL feeding regime. Pre mixing medium for seedling/veg: 4 Tablespoons per gallon of medium Top dressing: 2 Tablespoons per gallon of medium. Ratio for veg: 75% Gaia Green 4-4-4 to 25% Gaia Green 2-8-4 Ratio for late veg/early flower: 50% 4-4-4 to 50% 2-8-4. Ratio for late flower: 25% 4-4-4 to 75% 2-8-4. I also like to put in a little Mineralised Phosphate, more in the early stages (roots) and a little extra in the last feed(don't know if nescesary). I make sure my last top dressing is 4-5 weeks before harvest to ensure a nice fade. I would like to add that I supported horticulturelightinggroup.ca in the purchasing of my QB96 Elite V2's and their drivers were purchased straight from mouser.ca in the thought that the only thing you shouldn't cheap out on is lighting. My tent, carbon filter and fans are all Vivosun and all have issues but were cheap! In saying that if you build a kit using multiple QBs powered by 1 appropriate driver you can achieve $1/W. Because I have 2 lights and 2 drivers my lights cost $1.4/W.

In the 4th picture of week 4 I have pictured some leaf damage occuring on relatively new growth. From what I can google this appears to be a potassium deficiency, any opinions?

Hey there , that's a magnesium related symptom probably due to a heavy light schedule, the light being too close or perhaps a lock out but that s doubtful you know it's magnesium when the leafs burn on the serraded edges with yellowing between the veins often starting with the oldest leafs first. You can probably pick up on the mag but if you want to fix the root cause decrease your light schedule (you don't want to hear that I kmow) . Hope this helps ! 🚀

On day 28 I was bending the main stem a little too eagerly and snapped it. The snap went 2/3 of the way through so I quickly grabbed the gorilla tape (all I had) and tried my best to mend her wounds.. we will see how she groes over this week. Also just so everyone is aware I top dressed Yesterday before I had any answers as I was sure it was a deficiency. Turns out that it's more than likely a magnesium deficiency due to the heavy light schedule (thanks LaBOSSANOVA!) Rather than the potassium deficiency I thought it was. This is at least 7 days earlier than anticipated, luckily I was a little too high and used half the recommended dosage. I'll re top dress to the correct amounts in a week or two. For now I am just going to wait for her to heal and water when dry
