Planted seed directly into wet soil and it sprouted 2 days later. Have read amazing things about this strain so looking forward to seeing what it's all about first hand.

This one is coming along nicely, popped really fast and has kept going since, not too much stretching. Will continue feeding really light doses until it matures a bit more

This one has been an ideal performer for my setup. Growing really healthy, no stretch so far, just turning out to be a beautiful little plant. I have really high expectations for both of my Humboldt Seed Organization strains, first time growing strains from this company and look forward to trying other varieties in the future. Turned on another CFL this week (5 out of 6), will turn on the next one most likely after next transplant.

Finishing up week 4, just transplanted them up to 6 inch pots Saturday. Increased feeding strength too, adding in DNF Diamond and DNF Cal mend to the mix. It turned out to be a bit higher ppm than I was going for but figured it was still alright. Lifted the light away from them a couple inches, they were starting to show signs of stress, so will see how they react.

They have all really taken off after the transplant. I'll be looking to plant them up to their final size in about another week. I gave them a feeding of just DNF Cal Mend and Hygrozyme at 6.2 pH. They are starting to get a bit of a smell to them. I'll be topping them soon too and will have to move them into the bigger area as they are running out of space fast!

Finally was able to plant them up into their final size, am about a week later than I wanted to be for planting them up due to space limitations. They're now in the 3x3 and under COB lights instead of my CFL creation. They have recovered really fast already from being transplanted earlier today.

Am late with this week's update due to holiday activities. They have responded well to the final transplant, will be starting flowering in about a week. Have removed the separating wall to give them an extra 1x3 ft space, as that side section won't be in use until this round is completed. I started with a very minor LST, applying some wire to the pots in preparation for more aggressive tying down later this week in attempt to maintain level canopy. They are starting to emit some nice smells when I check on them now. Would of liked to have sent them into flowering already, but due to hold ups, they will receive a bit of an extended veg.

They have all rooted really well into their final pot size so I have initiated 12/12 starting today. They are all starting to get their unique scents and surprisingly strong for still being in veg. Am really looking forward to seeing how they all fill out. I have continued performing LST with wire that I wrapped around each pot. I am going this route because last time, I did a net method, which really limited the ability to move them around and being able to pull them out to properly work on them. I have also given them a small defoliate to start off the initial phase of flowering

The Humboldt Seed Organisation's chocolate mint OG has been the ideal strain so far. Staying nice and short, easily manageable, very minimal training and it is filling in a lot! I removed a good amount of leaves from this one in the initial defoliate. It is in the bottom left in the overhead pic. It is already starting to develop a strong smell, am looking forward to see what the smell becomes! It's exactly 1 week into flower now and you can already see the crowns starting up. The individual plant pics were taken prior to being fed, so they were displaying signs of thirst, but you can see they perked up well in the next pics which were taken following day after feeding. I have replaced 3 of my 23w CFLs with 40w 2700k bulbs in the supplemental lighting, which I added in response to removing the dividing wall for veg area which I'm not using at the moment giving them a 3x4 area. They have filled in the area, even with the extra space. I lifted up the light about 3 inches to ensure not to light burn anything. Overall am impressed with how they've performed their first week of flower. Happy growing!

Finishing up week 2 of flowering, gave them last feed of veg food followed by a feed of cal mend and Hygrozyme. Noticed a couple unsightly damaged leaves which I removed and haven't noticed any more. They have completely filled in the extra space I gave them and really starting to produce a smell. I removed a good amount of fan leaves to allow maximum exposure to all the crowns. Nothing overly notable for any of the strains other than minor adjustments with LST and trying to keep the light at a proper distance to avoid burning them, they're really wanting to stretch this last little bit! Anyways, still enjoying every bit of watching what these strains are to become and happy that they all seem to be remaining healthy. Happy growing!

Finishing up week 3, they've already recieved their first bloom feed and their second bloom feed. They are drinking it up fast, within 4 to 5 days, which I'm happy about. They are filling out really fast now and have seemed to slow down with the vertical growth. I'm still frequently removing fan places that are covering bud sites, even after the defoliation. I'm really happy with how they're coming along so far, have tried to alter my methods based on previous mistakes I have made and feel like it's working so far. Thanks for checking in, happy growing!

Overall, everything is going great with these ones. They're consistently drying out completely within 5 days. They've filled the whole area in really nice and each flower site is bulking up. The trichome production on all of them is amazing, I instantly get sticky if I try to reach in for anything. I'm starting to get blasted with their pleasant aromas when I open the tent. Thanks for checking in and happy growing!

This chocolate mint OG has been a pleasure to grow. It's looking like it will be a great producer and the smell is amazing. I'm noticing a really strong pungent smell similar to what I remember purple urkle smelling like. I have pretty high expectations from this one based on the performance so far. Just finishing up the 5th week of flower and couldn't be happier with how much they've filled out and how coated they all. I've increased their feed a bit with the cal mend and bloom a + b as well as left pH higher around 6.3. They're starting to mature as you can notice the white hairs starting to turn orange. They keep getting stronger in smell and the carbon filter is starting to pass some of the aromas through. Overall I'm really pleased with how this batch is coming along and am really looking forward to sampling this variety. Thanks for stopping in and happy growing!

The chocolate mint OG went hermi! I pulled it out, and saw a little puff of dust come off, that's what I looked underneath and saw lots of male flowers. I vacuumed all of the flowers off which seemed to work really good. I'm just hoping to minimize the damage at this point. I checked all the plants and this is they only one I found find male parts on. Performance wise, this plant is doing great! It's healthy, strong and starting to turn purple. It looks to have the most resin and has the strongest smell by far. It has a really strong skunky smell right now that is getting stronger every day. This will be really tasty I'm sure. Finishing up week 6 of flower, have been giving them 2 feeds with 1 water, which has been working at keeping the run off low. I'd like to get 2 more good feeds in before starting the clear. They are still very consistent with drying out within 5 days which is nice to see them soaking it in. You can smell when they wake up now and it's overpowering when you open the tent. They're all completely coated, really looking forward to this variety and this run! Thanks for checking in

A bit late posting for this week, so it's actually been 7 weeks and 2 days in flower. I gave them their final feeding last week and first flush yesterday. It went in at 490ppm and the run off was only 780, the lowest out of all 4. The smell from this is unbelievable!! Completely overpowers the others and as I've mentioned before, really reminds me of the purple urkle with that really dank skunkyness. Thanks for checking in! I'll have better pics next time too, couldn't pull them out because I had just watered them yesterday

The finished product is the best stuff I have ever grown. It's completely coated in trichomes which immediately coats your finger or nail in this clear sticky get glaze when handling. The smell is intoxicating!, Extremely strong. It is almost kind of skunky at first, but as you go deeper, I get hints of sweet mint and almost a turpentine smell. It really feels like I should be losing brain cells just smelling it. It is curing nice, dense dark sticky buds that are very flavorful! Like a sweet gassy kush at this point, and crazy POTENT. *Note* No effects or filters applied to any of the posted pictures

This has been my favorite strain to grow so far. It is a heavy producer, filled in it's space very nice and the smells and flavours are unbelievable! It yielded an impressive 98g with approx 3sqft of space. It's my favorite aroma out of all of this round. It maintained great health throughout the whole grow. It seems like it can handle whatever strength of feed you want to give it, was consistently having the lowest run off out of all the plants. It matured quickly and developed amazing hues of purple later into flowering. My only issue with this strain is it ended up growing a couple male parts underneath (which I promptly vacuumed off), but can still notice there are a couple seeds I'll need to watch for. It has totally exceeded my expectations as far as the quality of product I would get from the HSO Chocolate Mint OG. Great job with this strain HSO! I would of given it a 10/10 if it wasn't for the odd male parts, but I'm also aware that's very potential problem when dealing with feminized seeds. I look forward to trying out a new variety from them though as I'm thoroughly impressed with this! Thanks for following along! Happy growing all 🤘

@JinksyGrows, Thanks for checking in! I'm a lot happier with this batch than my last ones, they were starting to run into a lot of issues around this point so I've been extra aware in trying to avoid those same mistakes. A lot of this rounds improvements can be attributed to the suggestions and comments from other growers such as yourself! Thank you

Looking good! I was blessed with having cmOG as my first ever grow, I can say mine were a little sensitive with nutes and react great to LST & Topping (I just overdid it a bit 😭) Hope it helps in anyway and best of luck 🙌

@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, Thanks again for the comment and checking in! The only issue I've had with the CMOG is it went hermi on me! Just the vegetation underneath had male parts, but enough to seed the tent mildly. Other than that, it's consistently had lowest run off ppm, bulked up amazingly during flower, completely loaded in trichomes and has the strongest smell by far compared to the other 3. It's going to be some fine product for sure! Can't wait

@GrowLegend, for these ones I just pulled them off as they were old growth and all the new growth was coming in healthy. Post a pic of your setup and issues if you're having some though, on my new plants I just cooked a couple fan leaves by switching to a more powerful light and having it too close
