Freebie seed from Seedsman. Going to be an outdoor grow. I'm undecided at this stage how I will train her. Will see what her structure suggests.

After a crisis using pyrethrum to control insect issues she is back on track. 6th node starting and leteral growth is beginning. Gave her some dolomite lime and watered in. Seems pretty happy now. Will probably top at 10th node and let her branch out.
She put on about 12 cm this week and starting to branch nicely. Fan leaves are pretty big and healthy. Up to about 9th node so will top her soon.

She grew 8 cm this week and branching nicely. Topped at 10th node yeasterday.
She has some taco leaves. Not exactly sure why as she seems so healthy. Might be high soil temps....measured soil was minimum 30 degrees C up to 35 degrees max!
Repotted into a fabric pot and added coco and perlite to potting mix. Hopefully thus makes a difference.
Heading into a super hot week. 4 days in a row over 40 degrees. Wish me luck!
Had an extraordinary week. With day time temps ranging from 41 - 46 degrees C. (105 - 115 degrees F).
Despite the high temps she grew another 10 cm and branching nicely. Spent a lot of time in the shade. Only had to remove a few fan leaves that went crispy and died.
Got a good feeling about this one.

Really taking off now. Grew 12cm upwards and continues to branch ourwards too.
Repotted into final pot of 40 litres and she didnt miss a beat.
I'm a little concerned she will get too big for my liking and may have to put into flower early. Still has around 2 months of veg if i leave her go....any suggestions?

Another solid week of growth putting on another 10cm. Still looking healthy and so far no issues with pests or deficiencies. She is getting fairly thirsty and I'm feeding her every 2 to 3 days about 5 litres.

Another great week, growing another 10 cm. Getting bushier and signs of preflower. Gave her dome Seasol for root health which she seemed to love.

This week saw her hit the 1 metre mark after exploding with growth every which way. Showing some early signs of flowering. Really happy with how the grow is progressing.

Definitely flowering now. I've staked the top 4 largest branches for support after getting blown around in the wind a lot.
Gave her a feed of Nitrosol anf added some potash and magnesium salts. Every other feed i give her a little Seasol.
Looking forward to seeing the change over the next few weeks.

I'm having an issue with some type of deficiency it seems. Started with older lower fan leaves going yellowing and turning brown andveventually crisping on the tips and the leaf dies and falls off. Has moved up to newer fsn leaves.
My thoufhts are Magnesium deficiency..ph 6.5
Looks to me exactly like the hear stress I saw in my outdoor lady last year.. 30 or higher is just too hot with them.. Especially if the humidity gets lower. Despite what looks like heat stress making all the large fan leaves turn brown and die, she is flowering nicely.
Trying to keep her cool on hotter days but luckily the week has been cooler.

Week 4 of flowering and progressing well. Buds are beginning to colour and are fattening up nicely. Starting to stack on the larger branches. Weather has been ideal with temps in mid twenties.

Looking bigger and detter each week. Still having issues with heat stess which I am trying to combat with keeping under shade cloth.
Seems quite thirsty in the 40 litre pot so feeding regularly. Another warm week ahead.

After having a look at trichs under microscope and seeing majority cloudy and some amber on top buds I decided to cut and trim 5 branches. Seems a little early given only 6 weeks of flowering. Could be the long warm days have made flowering faster??
Will flush and leave her another week and see how it looks next weekend before harvesting any more.

Buds were a little light and airy due to high temps during flowering. She really did not cope well with the heat. Buds are curing snd ill post pics a little later.
This Aussie summer has thrown everything at us this year on the east coast and Melbourne where I'm @. Muddy rain, hail, stinking hot days the only thing missing has been snow! It's certainly been one hell of a ride...good luck and let's all hope for good weather.
@Lovemabud, has been one hell of a summer! Im in Adelaide and weather has settled down to mild 20s which is perfect and she is budding nicely even with heat stress and a bunch of dead fan leaves.
A brutal summer hey magic. Relentless heat, high humidity, then very heavy rain. We also have a nice cool week ahead for SEQ so hoping to get on top of a few issues myself. Buds are looking nice though mate👍🏽
@Grey_Wolf, thanks....i'm impressed with how its coping with the heat. We have another 4 days of 39 degrees plus and she is really starting to branch well. Will update at end of the week.
Hey magic, good idea with the flush and partial harvest,, looks like it’s in the run to the finish now for sure. I feel like it’s tough to measure exactly the flowering period. We see hairs and buds develop and start from there, but I am sure that the plant undergoes changes from vegetative state before they are visible to us. I reckon when you get to this stage, you go mostly by instinct. Looks like a good one mate👍
@Shooey, initial samples.were not great....unfortunately dried too fast and were quite fluffy. Have decided to let her go for a few more weeks.

@Lovemabud, hasn't been too hot but she stills seems to suffer when any hotter thsn about 25 degreees.
Still looks good so fingers crossed for a strong finish.
Hey magic,, to worry if your plants gonna be too big,, is a really nice problem to have🙂. How did you go?? I was gonna suggest keeping the pots smaller, or even tying it over to keep it down. Man she looks mint though, lush dark green and vibrant lime in the new growths. It’s in a good paddock👍
I'm also doing a staggered harvest with my outdoor grow, will be interesting to see how different the effects and taste will be. Enjoy the smoko brother.
