Surrics Hey everyone. This is my first grow, it's going to be a bit budget-friendly, and during the process, I'll be acquiring various devices for monitoring and connecting them to my computer. I'd appreciate any advice from experienced growers.
I'm trying to grow 6 plants in a homemade box measuring 60 x 75 x 200 cm.

Well-germinated seeds were planted on November 4th at 11:00 AM local time. I'll be keeping a photo report with local time indicated, using a Logitech C920 inside the grow box.
For now, I'm watering without fertilizers, just with clean, settled water.
At the beginning of week 2, I plan to fertilize 2 seedlings with nitrogen fertilizer at 25% of the recommended amount and see what happens. Or should I not do that?

No i havent been sing it and did not known it before. I was watching some videos on youtube to look for it. Im not sure what it shows, ive seen humidity of the medium. Will you need for every pot a controller like that=? and how does it calibrate=?... i think the idea is nice but how do they know wich plant you are growing. I think its to unspecific for cannabis. If you want to make avery investition go with the BLuebird controllers. Ypu can go with the bluebird Ph/ ec pen or the big controller. That is very good outgrown Techic to use . i let you liks in the comments

Surrics Overall, the growth is going well, I don't see a lack of light for the plants yet, but I'm afraid that problem isn't far off. I'm looking for a solution that fits my conditions.

How often do you feed your plants with nutrients?

Surrics The first signs of female sex appear on the most developed plants.
UPD. I was observing the plants' behavior every few hours, comparing it to previous photos, and I noticed that after 12 hours out of 18, the plants lower their leaves. In the morning photos, you can see the leaves are raised again. I started to wonder, since photoperiod plants need a 12-hour light cycle to trigger the flowering phase. I have autoflowering plants, but they have about 80% of their genes from photoperiod plants. Could they be experiencing discomfort when reaching the 12-hour limit? Maybe it's better to do a light cycle of 12 – 4 – 12 – 4?

Theoretically an autoflowering is by definition not photo dependent so the light should not affect the life cycle as she's flowering independently from the light.

Hey there, actually there is something like light stress for autos, even with correct intensity and distance, more than 12-14hours causes some kind of light stress, if you're doing 18 hours or more you will find light stress, and if you reduce the light schedule it will be less stress. That's why i do believe that theoretically 12-4-12-4 could be better , especially if you use the IR spectrum to make the plants "sleep" faster, even 8-4-8-4 works, actually if you look at some growers and some research they do say that they are doing this kind of thing. @Surrics,i would be scared too... but evey experience is for the first time. and most time we are scared of it...but you have to face... what could happen in worst case=?.....and then fyou see . its not that bad as imagined..... new steps forward is learning. An d cannabis in veeery resiliant....

@Mrs_Larimar, I'm not afraid to do a SCROG, this article says that to do a proper SCROG you need to do LST, I don't know how to do it right. But I have some ideas about it.

@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you, but it's very difficult to get such things in my country, so I'm looking for what's available. I think I'll stick to a regular pH meter for soil; the Xiaomi module has very bad reviews, and I can't buy anything else for now.

@Surrics, i think so too. the modul is to unspecific for cannabis.using the PH meter will be enough. In 99 percent of the grows i go without ph meter . if you have stable soimixes you dont need a ph meter ( most time)

@Mrs_Larimar, this is my first grow, so I decided not to take any risks and to study the plant well. That's why there's a camera in the box :)
I bought ready-made universal soil for houseplants with a pH level of ~6.3.
I read that for cannabis, the pH in the soil should be ~7.2.
In the coming days, I plan to get devices to measure and adjust the pH level to the necessary one.

In response to your question about watering - if you're using coconut in the pot, you can water it when the top two centimeters of the substrate dry out, since coconut has good drainage and air exchange with the "surface." You can even water coconut without checking if it's dry or not; if you feel the plant needs more - no problem, just water it, there won't be any "waterlogging" in coconut, unlike soil, where if you overwater, it creates a "swamp"... but with soil, you need to water a little bit every day to ensure new oxygen reaches the roots... and you should add nutrients to the soil every couple of days... that is, one day nutrients, two days plain (acidic) water, then repeat - nutrients and two days of plain (acidic) water. With coconut, you can water with nutrients daily, since the new watering washes away the salts from the previous watering (good drainage).
