First attempt at a hydro set up, so this is a bit of an experiment. I had some yellowing/brown spots after week 1 which seem to be clearing up now that I have gotten a better air pump/stone and removed the sweet from the mix. I am using some dutch nutrient samples right now that I got for free, but i will be switching to remo nutrients once the samples are used up.
Tangie Cookies feminized from Bc Bud Depot.
Lots of good growth this week, and all of the yellowing has now gone away and turned green. All of the new growth is nice and green. The first roots showed out of the sides and bottom of the net pot and have been growing very quickly.
Had some issues with root rot that I had to overcome this week. Started the week with the last of my Dutch Nutrient stuff and a little bit of the sweet, well, I noticed through the week that the roots took a thrashing, so on day 19 I dumped the reservoir and added just the remo line of micro, grow, velokelp, magnificat and natures candy. (7ml/gallon each).
The res change and remo line fixed the problem in a hurry, I started seeing fresh healthy roots the next day and was surprised at the amount of root growth when I checked on day 21.
Also FIM'd the plant on day 19.
This week I got some voodoo juice to try and combat the root rot issues that I am having. The voodoo juice didnt necessarily cure the root rot, but it did help to create some excellent root growth, and the plant/roots are looking much more healthy overall. I did still get some brown spots in the fan leafs, but it hasn't been too bad. I am thinking that I will veg for another week or two before switching to flower.
The voodoo juice seems to be doing a pretty good job of keeping the root rot in check. I will be cleaning my equipment and soaking the roots in an h202 mixture the next time I do a res change.
Got the scrog set up and I am about to flip to 12/12 on day 36.
First week of flowering is coming along nicely. She is starting to stretch a bit and the branches are starting to "zig zag". I have not seen any pistols yet, but they should be starting over the next week.
The flowering stretch is really taking off, and she has stigmas starting on every top. Excited to see how the next few weeks come along. I will be adding nirvana to the mix next week to really get the flowers going.
Lots of good growth this week. The flowering stretch is still going strong and the buds are getting thicker each day. My E.C got up to around 1800 this week so I topped up the reservoir a couple times with plain water, bringing the e.c. down a little bit. She didnt burn though so maybe I could leave it a little bit high.
The flowering stretch seems to have slowed down and most of the growth is going into the buds now. The buds are forming up into long colas, and trichomes are forming up to frost the buds a little bit. One of the buds in the middle of the canopy grew into the light on f26 and got a little bit burnt. Otherwise coming along well and getting pretty smelly when touched. I trimmed off some of the lower branches towards the end of the week, and will probably be trimming more off on res cleaning day.
Buds are fattening up this week, and the flowering stretch is finished. I broke one of the outside branches on res clean day and had to splint it up. I'm getting some slight burning on the fan leaves, so I tried to dilute the res with fresh water.
Buds are starting to look nice! I didnt add magnifical with the res change at the start of the week which was a mistake. The bottle said to discontinue use after week 6, but 3 days after the res change, she was getting spots. I added magnificat back in and she is happy again.
Buds are getting pretty fat, some are the size of my fist. I trimmed some of the fan leaves off this week, and I added a homemade co2 generator which she seems to like. Trichs are getting frosty but are still mostly clear, and dont have any amber.
Getting close! I am keeping an eye on the trichomes now and will hopefully be harvesting either next week or week f10. I also bought a proper ph pen this week, so the next run should be even better!
Harvested day f63. She has a nice intense citrus/orange peel smell. Most trichomes are milky with some amber and a few clear. Looking forward to drying week.
@yuhknowwudimean,with pleasure bro
By cons you should monitor the tasks on your leaves, they look like a beginning of potassium deficiency. Try to compare with a deficiency table and do what is necessary to overcome this deficiency.
May the force be with you
Looks great! About to grow it myself.
Not sure if you'll see this in time but what's the tent size you're rocking? Looks like a 2x2 to me but wanted to make sure.
