Haven't really decided what i wanna do just yet! Thinking I may try Main-Lining for the 1st time but kinda iffy on that because I don't think I'll have enough space within the 2x4... Have prior experience with LST, HST, ScrOG, Topping/FIMing will do some research & see if I got enough space to mainline 4 if not just gonna stick with what I know :P
**As for nutrients was wondering if someone could recommend me something cheap/safe/effective for veg/flower that'd pair nicely with the soil i'm using (left a link on the picture above).. I don't have a ph meter & the soil i'm using does have a slow release fertilizer that can last up to 9 months so I'm not 2 sure what I should be using along side that... Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
Start of week 2: Both Star Killer OG's are looking good but the Dosidos & Tropicanna cookies looking a bit rough.... Did a bunch of research on grow medium (mainly sphagnum peat moss) & I'm assuming the dolomite lime in my pre mixed bag has degraded over time & I need to balance the PH...
PH meter should be here Monday & next Friday am gonna grab Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom
Start of week 3: Another bad luck week...
Currently recovering from a nutrient lockout
Started feeding schedule Day 18 & plants are showing very strong signs of a recovery explosive growth overnight as well
Start of week 4: still recovering from nutrient lockout but plants are steadily showing signs of improvement! The dosidos that had been stunted is starting to grow larger leaves & the tropicanna cookies seems to be thriving now vs mutating...
I did wanna try mainlining for the 1st time but my plants all seem to be at various different stages of growth so I might not end up with an even canopy if I mainline 2 or 3 early, thinking i will top the 3 bigger ones soon & just let the dosidos strengthen up & once that ones ready maybe mainline all 4
Nutrient wise I think I'm gonna keep my current mixture throughout the entire growth stage, debating on whether or not I should grab some B-52, Rhino Skin & Voodoo juice, I also had my eye on carbs as well... My budget is gonna be based off recovery this week :P
Start of week 5: Started foliar feeding in attempts to speed up the recovery, removed some dead/dying foilage from the lower parts of the plants & backed the light off them a bit to see if it helps with tacoing
Really starting to notice the different characteristics between the two star killer og's!
**Topped plants day 30
Start of week 6: Tacoing is getting a bit worse unsure if it's the lights, heat or nutrients... Gonna mess around with it a bit this week & try to fix! When I water I never saturate the entire medium (I don't got trays right now) if I had to take a guess the roots are touching soil that hasn't been PH balanced so I'm thinking I might get some trays & flush quick
The Star Killer OG #2 has like naturally mainlined itself xD! I am very tempted to chop it there & clone the excess if possible!
Start of week 7: Went ahead & saturated the entire medium a few days ago... The plants really did NOT like that! Figured it was best to do it now instead of potentially running into problems when I switch over to 12/12, I think the roots started touching soil that hadn't been PH'd, they were showing signs of a decline again after recovery... Assuming I'm not gonna have to water at all this week which is kind of nice! Thinking I will give these some time to recover & Veg for another week or two before switching over to 12/12
Start of week 8: Still just waiting for these to recover before cleaning them up a bit & switching to 12/12, burnt them pretty bad when I flushed.... this medium really likes to hold onto moisture as well they are in rough shape but should live!
