Soaked seed for 24 hours in distilled water. Planted seed directly in air pot with Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil and 25% Perilite mix which had been soaked overnight in bag. Packed bags tightly for this grow as last time the soil seemed to move around in the bags and stress roots. Put clear plastic cup over seed and left in tent with 18 hour light cycle with light placed 24" away from bags.
Plants seem to be coming along well. Girl Scout Cookie is now around 2” tall with large leaf set. Spraying 2 times a day with Canna RhizoTonic and just watered pot completely with ph 6.3 water at the beginning of week. Sour Diesel stem is not as sturdy as GSC as it wants to tip over with even light misting. Hope healthy and not suffering from root issue. After initial soaking for germination, watered (besides daily misting and squirting around stem) for the first time on day #11.
GSC (& Sour Diesel - tentmate) seem to be growing with very healthy green growth. Responding well to light 1/3 to 1/4 recommended dose of Fox Farm nutes. Sour Diesel, which was much smaller and had weak trunk stem as seedling is slowly catching up to GSC.
Lush green growth. Starting to smell a bit as I open tent. LST was successful on GSC, but snapped top of Sour Diesel and had to tape back and support. Healed within 2 days. Looking good overall with no signs of problems. Just starting to show early signs of flowering buds.
