Went 5 for 5 on the seeds. Started using Innova FS burple grow lamp with ok results. Seedlings are growing. FYI...this is an old pic of the last grow...needed a pic for the week (all others will be current)
Day 20 is moving day. All had really nice roots, looks promising.
Day 22, still have all 5, keeping fingers crossed! Noticed that the outer plants were turning in towards centre so added my Innova lights on both ends of the room and seems to be working....now I know I need another light to cover the entire space properly.

Still a relative noob, so please excuse my ignorance. What fertilizer is good for the full cycle (veg, flower, bloom) that is easily available and not outrageously priced? Using a peat/sphagnum mix, virgin soil....

@Soopanoobie this all depends on your general location and product availability I see the others reccommend biobizz however that product is unavailable where I am
so I know nothing about its properties. However I would reccomend an organic based growth mix of around 15-5-5 NPK and a Bloom mix of aprox 2-10-10 NPK
and a good calcium magnesium supplement. Also things like blackstrap mollasses can be used as a carb boost Diatomaceous earth for pest control and Mycorrhizal
fungi for root protection and health I hope this helps you
Well, the girls are doing well. Some better than others. Seems that we have a Shortbus in the group.
The addition of side lights appears to be working. Will update after the weekend. Cheers!!
Update:
Day 27, here are the recent pictures. Good old Shortbus is starting to pick up. The Afghani looks so beautiful and symmetrical. Getting excited!!
Day 29 pictures. The Original Afghanis are loving the extra lights. The Bubble Kush are plowing along just nicely.
Shortbus is doing great.
Got the fertilizer mix down so far, keep me fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Day 38 and the topping didn’t kill anything. 3 more weeks until flowering. 🤞🏻
Day 42 - trimmed up the girls and opened things up....what a change a haircut makes!!! Stalks are thick and healthy, love the progress.
Week #7....oh so close. Everyone was getting really bushy so gave em a haircut. Here are the after pictures. Will check back in a few days.

Merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone . Noticed a calcium deficiency in Shortbus and a nitrogen deficiency in FBG, the result of the fertilizer changes. Upped the #1 by 50% and seems to work.

Some sad news, We were gambling with the Original Afghanis, as they were free Regular seeds with the order and #2 was male, so down one.
On the positive, gave the girls a haircut and cleaned them up. FBG is up to around 28” and the rest are rounding 20-24”. Everyone looks good, let the flowering loose.
Week 12 is almost over and the buds are a blooming. All the girls are doing great. Getting excited!

Well, things are changing quickly. Pics are from Day 32. The buds are purple and the hairs are thick. They really are beautiful.
Day 35 - some updated pictures. Need to dial back the fertilizer for FBG
The flush continues. Pictures are from day 49. BK #1 is ready, the other 2 still need a bit more. Original Afghani wS due a week ago, but I still gonna give her another week or so. Most likely harvest after the weekend. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Went with this strain as both the wife and I enjoy it, while getting absolutely opposite reactions. Compared to other grows, the stalks were strong, leaves plenty and well.....buds??? Take a look for yourself. Haven’t weighed it wet, don’t care really. The tally when dried is what I’m after. Will update as I finish.
I’m pleased to say over 11 ounces dried. Need to cure them but overall a great grow.
