hiciste This week, I was thinking that 17 lt flowerpot will come smaller to the plant so I bought 27 lt cloth pots and put the plants to them. For a little time they were looking stressful but for short time they become healthy.

hiciste This week I started to give topping and low stress training to the plants. After LST training, I started to give B-52 product to the plants in case of stress appearing on the plants.

hiciste I got a Carbon filter because they started to smell so much.
@Cabbarbaba, I was just about to say the same thing. I'd take the scissors and trim that mf lol. In fact, there are those big leaves that cover the buds. Without going overboard, collect them every day, a few here and there... but don’t pull them off with your hands, cut them nicely with scissors. It can cause wounds when you pull them off with your hands, and the plant struggles to heal that spot. I once went overboard and was taking all the leaves blocking the light :d a week later, I looked and it seemed like the plants had glue at the junctions of the leaves and colas. I was like, wow, you guys worked on that? I was amazed. :d
@hiciste, yeah bro, it looks really nice. They're not small, but they seem a bit slow to me. The buds haven't even started to fill out yet. The plants are still in the generative stage. Right now, load up on nutrients, and when you notice they're starting to swell in the coming days, gradually increase the nutrients periodically. You can also remove the small buds at the bottom so the plants don't waste unnecessary energy. I think harvest time is at least a month away... Week 9 is the first week of flowering. As I said, they will definitely start to swell next week, and from what I've seen in the videos - if you're patient - a fantastic harvest awaits you in 4-5 weeks... The reason the pistils are turning orange could be due to overfeeding or it might be genetic. In either case, I recommend reducing your dosage by half until you see the plants start to swell, then periodically increase to the maximum level and decrease again periodically until harvest. Cut off Overdrive right now... it's not the time for it. Overdrive pushes the plant to mature. If you do it before the buds fill out, you might have to say goodbye to most of your harvest... The plant matures without filling out. If you check out the Meph love diary, you can see the filling processes. Basically, the pistils decrease, and the decreasing pistils turn into buds. Try to stop counting weeks because it always invites mistakes... Read and observe the plants. Wait for them to start swelling.
@Kvothe, dude, I'm really confused now. I was thinking of harvesting in about 15 days, but you're saying it still has a month to go. I've used Overdrive for the second time, and now I'm not sure if I should switch back to Big Bud.
I'm feeling really indecisive. Since I'm starting Overdrive and now I'm going back to Big Bud, do you think it would harm the plant a lot? Also, the pistils have started turning brown, isn't that a sign that harvest time is approaching?
@Kvothe, I was really worried because I’m using overdrive, as I mentioned, that it would mature the plants before reaching the necessary size.
Also, the burning at the tips of these leaves just started; there was never anything like this before. How much trouble do you think using drive twice could cause me, my friend? And should I go back to big bud again?
@hiciste, no problem. Just be careful with the NPK levels, especially the P in overdrive. It's definitely not the right time for that right now. But it won't cause any major issues in the long run. A tiny problem, no need to stress. ^^ Don't give big bud until you see some swelling. Continue with half strength of the Sensi series until the plants start to swell. Then gradually increase it over two weeks. After that, when you see the swelling has stopped (no change for 4-5 days), start with overdrive. Increase from 1/4 strength to 1/2 strength to full strength periodically with each watering. If you notice any issues like burning, just lower the dosage because... sativa strains don't require much nutrients, for example. This way, you've got about 5-6 weeks until you can enjoy your product. But don't stress, the plants will be nice, just wait. You can start sampling from the bottom in a few weeks if you're in a pinch. It won't cause any issues if you take a few buds here and there :) Sometimes the high can be nice even if it’s not fully ready. 👌
@Kvothe, man, I've logged in and out of here 500 times waiting for your reply. You've put my mind at ease, I know I've been a bit of a bother, but I have a few more questions if you don't mind.
I've been using Big Bud since the 6th week, so since I switched the light to 12-12, do you think it could have caused any issues?
Also, does the burning of the leaf tips cause any problems? Lastly, is it a problem if the pistils are turning brown? Like I said, the pistils have started to turn brown.
I think my girls went into flowering in the 9th week, and I don't understand why that happened. Should I keep using B52? :)
@hiciste, yes, the 9th week is the week they definitely enter. Big Bud hasn't caused any issues so far and I don't think it will. Don't give it, but as I said, right now. The burns are old anyway, they don't matter. You can give B52, local growers are always using it here. I haven't observed any benefits from it, though. Lastly, they will flower when they're ready, sometimes it's out of your hands. :) It's okay, I'm glad I could help, I would be sad if something happened to this grow. :) I also have no electricity, I'm dealing with separate issues :D I can't log in much, so good luck!
@Kvothe, thank you so much, my friend! So, if I can't understand when to cut by looking at the brown pistils, how can I figure it out? I don't have the equipment to check the trichomes. And please don't be condescending, but you're sure I have about 4 weeks until harvest, right, buddy? :)
@hiciste, I think it's at least 4+. I'm not the only one saying it, bro, everyone has mentioned it in the thread. After the swelling is done, the harvest window opens, man. You can observe it yourself or give us an update and let's see together. There's no need for a microscope. It would be nice to have one, of course. They're 30 lira at grow shops.
@Kvothe, hey man, hello again! Someone just messaged me saying not to use Big Bud anymore during this period. What's your opinion? Everyone is saying something different and I'm really confused :(
@hiciste, stop confusing yourself and making things murky. Big Bud isn't that critical of a product, but I'll explain anyway. In addition to the base nutrients, Big Bud contains P and K. It can boost around +20 mg of P or K, but we don't really know those numbers since the company doesn't share them, unfortunately. You can give it throughout the entire flowering period. Overdrive isn't that important of a product either; it doesn't have much benefit aside from being a slightly stronger P or K boost... you can achieve the effects of these products by adjusting your base nutrients. If it has any effect at all... use it or don't, I don't think it matters much. But the 2x Sensi series dosage could stress the plants... why did you give it? I remember telling you not to overload until you see swelling; you're stunting your plant's growth right now, I think... the redness has increased a lot. Dude...
@Kvothe, since you mentioned it, I've cut the dosage in half when giving fertilizer, but the old ratios are still in the diary.
Now I've entered the 13th week, and I think it's harvest time in two or three weeks, bro. Today is watering day, what do you think I should do, what path should I follow? :/
@hiciste, keep lowering it. In fact, my suggestion is to do a flush. Drain about 5-6 times the pot's volume of pH adjusted (6.2) water into the pot. There's an issue with the plant, as you said, it's not filling out the buds, it's maturing. I've had similar plants, and I didn't get good results from any of them, that's clear and obvious...
I've heard that pruning can be harmful once the plants enter the flowering stage, so I'm afraid of causing damage. Also, where do I need to cut the leaves?
@hiciste, don't worry, take off the unnecessary leaves you see below (you'll feel it anyway). Also take the big leaves around the bud, it won't hurt. @kwothe told an amazing story, watch out for the scissors. Pruning 3-5 leaves every day won't stress her out. I usually have a few small leaves left in the last week, it just drives the pruning crazy. But it's good because all the energy is spent on making trichomes. And don't feel sorry for the yellow leaves that are about to die (it's not a disease, but you know what I mean).
@Cabbarbaba, bro, I took too many leaves off in a few days, but the buds stayed ridiculously small. The pistils are starting to turn brown, harvest time is slowly approaching.
