Just planted the seed so not much to say about this week. This is my second grow, first grow went ‘ok’. Had a few problems with nutrient burn and possibly some deficiencies in other areas too. Just couldn’t make sense of it, so much more to understand than I initially thought. I’ve decided to go with the ‘just add water’ organic soil from SoHum Soils this time to cut out any possible nutrient problems. I’m only growing the one plant purely down to space and practicality.

Start of week 3. Day 15. Growing well, had a problem watering the soil, it was so dry it was repelling most of it, had to pretty much drown it, putting back in the top what comes out the bottom, as to not wash out all the goodness in the soil. It seemed to stop growing for a day but got right back to it the next. I am finding it much less stressful growing organically, not worrying about nutrient dosing. I adjust bottled spring water to PH 6.3 and that’s it until the end. I’m thinking of letting it grow naturally without any hst/lst just to experience a natural grow, then work on improving yield from there on.

Day 28 Growing well and looking healthy. It’s giving off a slight whiff now, but nothing that escapes from the cupboard. Soil still a pain to water. Watered with bottled spring water PH’d to 6.3 only from start to finish.

Growing well. Has already grown big fat meaty pistils on the main stem, the camera has made them look green but they are nice and white. Smell is becoming more noticeable. Watered with spring water only, PH at 6.3. In SoHum living soil.

When having problem watering soil that "repels" water, try to spray on it, small particles is the solution! Nice wardrobe!! I really like the flying pot! Wish you a great grow! Have a Shroom !!! 🙌

@FuzzyBalls, Soil is great! I would never run out from the natural to create nature. You may use blackstrap molasses to improve the life on soil, micro organisms helps the roots to act freely all over the soil. 1 teaspoon/ Liter of water. Don't use always, only on new moon, when the energy is all on the bottom, and will rise to the plant easily. It contains Calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, and many other things. Also act as chelating agent, releasing the nutes on soil to the roots. Shroom are a lesson of life, creating them, and consuming them. If you made both you went thru the whole magic process of becoming a new being.

@Psilocubensis, Thanks man! Yes you are absolutely right, I bought a pump action garden sprayer and kept spraying it on slowly. Great thing about the soil though is no nutrients means it doesn’t matter if I spray the plant so it works out ok! I grew some psilocybe cubensis last year too 🤪
