Just cracking 5 Nirvana Blue Cheese Auto. Also planted one Critical AF that did not sprout. I had 4/5 Nirvana Blue Cheese Auto sprout and had one dwarf/stunted, so went with the remaining 3, which were all good (but varied) phenos. Grown in 3.5 gallon buckets with lots of drain/ventilation holes. Soil is 2/3 coco, 1/3 FoxFarm. Added 1lb worm castings, 4 cups perlite, and 1/2 cup organic dry 4-4-4 amendment to eaqch bucket. This is my 7th grow indoors. I grew outside from 1997-2006.

Growing OK. A little slow from my previous experience. Topped all 3 plants with sterile razor at day 21. Healed and responded very quickly/nicely. This is my 7th grow indoors. I grew outside from 1997-2006.

During the week following topping, I did some extreme low-stress training (LST). As much as I did it, it was almost high-stress (HST), but I did not break/damage anything like HST. This is my 7th grow indoors. I grew outside from 1997-2006.

This strain responds incredibly well to LST. I think I should be able to keep these pretty compact, but still have about 20 prime bud sites per plant. Look how bushy these guys get with one week LST. At the end of week 5, I did a MAJOR defoliation. See pics. First time using this technique. Plants seemed to respond well and by the end of week 6, I couldn't even tell they'd been stripped, but much more growth was focused to bud sites. As they are just starting to flower, I top-dressed the buckets with dry organic amendments. 1/4 cup of 4-4-4 and 1/4 cup of 4-8-4. This is my 7th grow indoors. I grew outside from 1997-2006.

Bouncing back so well from defoliation. I think this technique is really going to improve yields. End of week 6 I saw trouble with new growth being skinny and drooping. I realized 2 things. First, the lights were too close (16"). The lights I'm running above these plants total over 1000 watts, so I raised the lights to 22" above the plants. They responded well. I used a deep soil moisture probe to check moisture. Bottom 1/3 of soil was wet, while top 1/3 was dry. I had been overwatering a bit, so I cut back on that a bit. They responded well. This is my 7th grow indoors. I grew outside from 1997-2006.

Pretty much running on autopilot at this point. Watering as needed with 6.6 pH water. Did another significant defoliation mid-way through week 7. Loving the VERY SWEET smell of these babies. Re-Arranged the lights to let the girls bush out even more.
