This is my first indoor grow, I did two outdoors grows a couple of years ago but I want to make it a permanent hobby now. I first wanted to do a closet grow with CFL's but after reading more I decided to spend a little more. So I bought a 60x60x150cm grow tent a 5g smart pot and a Mars Hydro 300w LED light, which I later read were old tech, but what the hell, let's see how it goes!
Looking quite healthy! She's still not stretching out, staying small and very bushy, I also did a ponytail this week to get the lower leaves and stalks some light. I have seen other plants at this age that are waayyy bigger, as she's an auto I suppose that this wil inhibit my yield right? Or is there still hope that she might stretch? It might have to do with the fact that I only added a small fan for circulation this week, it was stuck in the mail unfortunately. Any thoughts?
So week 5 is here, still not much stretching but I think the side branches are growing steadily. I did some LST now after the ponytails last week, I used paracord and teacups lol. It looks weird but I think it works, it was my first attempt so we'll see. I hope she'll gain some size and start flowering soon!
She was quite small in the beginning but now I have the feeling that she might yield nicely. She looks super healthy and I have only PH'd her once, just the litmus paper was not accurate enought, plus my color perception is not great, probably between 6 and 7. I watered her now two times with quite some runoff the previous watering but this time one gallon had just a little more than a shot glass runoff. I think I might buy some 2700K CFL's for extra yield, I can then use those cfl's to put my seedlings under next grow. Good idea?
Shes still stretching but I also see a little nute burn I think, though only on one cola. Still have the feeling that shes growing quite slowly. Ill stay patient though!
