Seeing some mutation. Maybe a bit small also. PH runoff alarmingly at 7.5 after 1st watering. Using no till, organic plant based soil. RO water at 6.3 pH going in, 7.5 runoff coming out. Will slowly try to bring that down.
One plant refuses to lift at all, while the other one looks nice. That plant was ready for an initial bend on day 6 of week 2.
Beginning this week by continuing the second day of LST on the larger lady. Other plant still very short with very little stretching, about 1/2 the size of her sister but looks otherwise healthy.
In an attempt to deal with PH runoff near 8, I added a bit of soil Acidifier I had on hand from a potted Calamansi.
Found this fascinating to see. One plant's soil acidification has been more successful in dropping PH into the low 7s. The other is still closer to 8. Isn't hard to tell which is which when seeing the difference in run off appearance. 1 clearly absorbing nutrients while the other still showing lockout
Continuing to charge into flowering. PH is now under control as nutrient and water uptake is much improved. Unfortunately, vegetation suffered but hopefully the buds she does have turn out well. I feel that I've learned a ton during this first grow
