Sour Mandarina x Rosewater Cookie

Trichome Jungle Seeds "Sour Mandarina x Rosewater Cookie". Might be REGULAR seeds. DWC setup: Wilma 4 (50l) with 11l trays. Seeds were soaked in water for 48 hours. Kept in dark and warm. Right after the root tip was visible they were put in presoaked rockwool cubes and under some regular small grow-light for another 5 days until the root came through the cube. Germination rate 100%. PH hit the roof peaking at 8.0 before the flush and new solution were introduced. It kept climbing for a few days before it stabilized at 6.2. I found out that I have plugged the dwc system with the timer, so the water did not circulate for 6 hours for 2 days straight 😱 One of the seedlings looks bad to me. Last time that happened to one of the seedlings it was very slow in growth and new brown spots were popping up on every new pair of leafs, even after the water conditions were stable. Still water never means good 💀 I kept the room temperature a bit too high, around +27C. Lowered to sub +25C. Solution EC started at 1.2 and risen to 1.3 after adding the Cannazym. Changed the solution twice already 😑 Otherwise, THEY ARE GREEN AND HEALTHY LOOKING 💪 Bluelab's PH pen and EC-meter are the best buys I have done lately. Strongly recommended for every grower in consideration of getting one of them 😎

PH was stable, around 5.9 for the whole week. EC was 1.3, but for some stupid reason I raised it to 1.4 and the other one (PHENO 2) started to show some stress. I did not know what is happening for 2 days until I finally decided to flush the system. I decided to clean them DWC pipes too and found out they are full mud and old nutrient s*it. No wonder the whole reservoir was unstable all the time. Got some GHE FloraKleen yesterday to make the system perfectly clean again. I hope it makes the sad one live again. No training until everything is stable again.

This week was a success. Kind of.. I flushed the whole system with GHE "FloraKleen" for 48 hours. After I noticed that #pheno2 had some issues with curling under, twisting and yellowing. I wanted to change the reservoir, but decided to clean the tubes before adding new solution. Cleaned them with "Fairy" and a copper wire peace. SO MUCH SH*T CAME OUT! I was amazed. No wonder the PH did not stay balanced and #pheno2 had issues when there was salt build-ups in the system. After the flush I started with 1/4th of the normal dosage (EC 0.5) and changed the res. again the next day to EC 0.8. Kept it there for 2 days and right when I saw improvements in growing, I topped the plant and snapped off 2 pairs of damaged leaves. She seems fine now, me happy! The other one, the so called "pheno1" turned out be male. I am not 100% sure, but 95%. THE BALL is visible in the first picture. Check it out. I am planning to keep him(?) in the room for a week in flower or so just to be 100% sure. Pheno 1 seems to be more bushier and shorter in growth patterns. Thats what I would prefer. Pheno 2 seems to be taller and thiner. We'll see Hopes are up for #pheno2 now! I really hope its a "she". Otherwise.. naaaa! Peace!

So.. the other one (Pheno1) was a confirmed male and I got him out of the "ladies room". Luckily the Pheno2 has grown so much and is ready to produce some nice, big buds. I was almost losing hope with her some weeks ago. I am very proud and SHE IS VERY SPECIAL! The solutions PH was pulling towards 5. for a few days until I flushed the system with "FloraKleen" and introduced blooming nutrients. She has been doing great with no major issues. PH has stayed mainly around 5.8 and EC has been stable as well. LST adjustments made. Light defoliation has been performed after every few days. I really like this pheno. She grew big and tall with tightly packed internodes. The smell has been coming stronger for the past week or so. It took nearly 2,5 weeks before she started flowering and confirmed the SEX thing 😅
