Roots dropped a week later.
Decent growth after topping both.
Using Bluelab meter to keep things in check.
Tried upping the nutes but they didn't like it.
The one which had one leaf is short and busy whilst the other is lanky.
Decent growth after topping both.
No major issues just kind of cruising along with DWC.
Once things are aligned - PPM, PH, Temps and humidity then it's smooth sailing.
Just coasting....I thought i'd have more to do but pretty busy with the other soil plants I am running parallel.
Going to full the reservoir as I've only got it half full atm.
With 6 air stones rattling, the fans and the chiller running...one does wonder if it can be heard? ;)
Getting proper bushy n busy in there.
This is when i realise I've left it too long to scrog properly! :/
The short one is clumped together and would have benefited from the net going on earlier to spread the thick pipe stems out.
Well sorry for the skipped time....I'd basically moved her into a new tent and put a scrog net on her to open her up.
As soon as I did that she started growing new tops and kept tucking them under and going with the flow for a two weeks.
By now my supplemental lighting had arrived and I wanted them in the tent before flowering as the far red would initiate flowering.
Flipped her on 24th December 2019. Defoliated lightly before flipping.
Photo is 6 days after flowering.
Far red stays on 15mins after lights out to send the girls to sleep. Not sure if this actually has any benefit but they seem happy to me! :)
7th Jan 2020 - Two weeks after flipping and she's in full swing. Stretch has finished and buds and coming! :)
Had no issues so far with her although i really did think she'd be feed more.
Defoliated lightly as I'm scared to cause too much stress. Such a thick canopy though!
Technically 5th week of flowering and she's cruising.
Buds are really stacking!
Gave her some PK boost and not sure if she likes it as it increased the ppm and it's not going down but the buds are stacking.
Didn't expect it to go this smoothly.
My soil grow is going OK...not as nice as this though!
Just cruising. Defoliated a lot more and tried to open her up so light can penetrate deeper.
Had a issue with my water pump...didn't realise the roots would get inside and block it so replaced it so i now have a spare.
The smell is kind of funky with a nice gassy smell....oh and not to talk about the resin!! It's sticky as!! I'm so impressed with this strain!
Week 7 flower. Tried upping the EC / PPM to 350 and she didn't like it.
Just cruising now 02/02/2020 - buds smell nice and gassy.
The smaller plant has been totally taken over by the other one.
It's now too late into flower to take clones (wish i'd done it before but now I know!) and I don't think I'll have the time to reveg :(
Lovely looking strain.
Buds on top are nice and dense. Buds underneath will be used for hash hopefully.
I've added another 150w LED as side lighting to get some more buds to dense up. Maybe too late now
I was stunned how how easy she was to grow....with no other experience and decided to jump in at the deep end for my for my first grow with DWC and it was easier than I thought. My only issue was I wish I added the scrog earlier as the small pinkish plant at the front was outgrown by the other stronger plant. Pinkish pheno has a slight fruity taste along with a gassy fuel. The main pheno is pure gas and fuel. I got two OG phenos and was soo happy!
Simple and stright forward to grow. Both OG strains are amazing. I barely got 1oz from the smaller plant with a load of larf so i wished i scrogged her sooner. The other plant came in very strong at 15oz in total - 9oz of class A&B buds and 6oz of larf and airy buds. With the larf i made some bubble hash - 9.2g of awesome bubble. I was amazed at the amount and more amazed by the end product. I cured for 3 weeks in jars. My only gripe was I dried a little too long - 2 days over. I cannot wait to grow this again! The smoke...well what can i say...i was happy i got this down before lockdown!! :) It is sooo strong! I was walking around my house not remembering why i was there, what i was doing....and that was after 1 joint....rolled a fat joint and added some of the dry sift keif....that joint sat there for ages....and ages!!!! :)
The New by Sherbinski, entering the home stretch and looking fantastic 🤗
Good luck for the final weeks my friend 🙏
With love from Humboldt County✌️
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
@Lovemabud, the truth is I was too scared to go into flower so the long veg time helped a lot. I wanted to ensure everything was dialed in and get the best I could for the first go. I kept longing it out and then Christmas was here so I had to flip then. It was a good experience but I cant say that for my soil grow. One of the plants hermied and I didnt realise soothe whole tent was hermied. Only noticed I had loads of seeded buds when I was drying and the seeds kept falling off. Gutted.
