Chocolates1390 I'm from Colombia This is my first ever grow! Let's see what happens Just started with this Moby Dick XXL from dinafem, I've got other 2, but I will update this one. (Week 2) The rains continue every night, I'm not giving them more water just the necessary with some nutrients high concentrated. (Week 4) Wow, the last week was a difficult one, 3 days ago hailed and hit the plants very hard (Week 5) I will be updating the pictures every 2 days. (Week 5) The plant has started flowering, there are some pictures of it, from the structure and some flowers, today the plant has a total height if 70cm from soil, I would like to see if the plant gets higher or just keep on 70cm. Also, there you can see the sisters of my baby, those has a total heigh from soil of 50cm, I think that I've got 3 different phenotypes because the sister1 has more width than sister 2, I would like to see your commments about how they are going! The sister 2 has a bamboo structure that i was trying to made, because i think that the wind can break the arms of the plants, i want to make it for the 3 plants.

Hello dear growers, actually I have a question, as you can see my plant has grown well, I have watched a lot of diaries and I see that most of the best results are obtained by applying some advanced techniques, for this reason, do you recommend me to do a LST to my plant ?

hey there, with autos and LST you absolutely have to start earlier because the autos genetics "get stiff" quite early on, so they simply wont bend that well. when you do bend them they wont really adapt correctly meaning the branches will grow sometimes "upsidedown" in a bad way, or some branches will be stunted and not grow well. So if you want yield, sorry to say but in flower there's not much you can do now except add PK when the buds are the size of your thumbs. so i do recommend LST with autos but not for this plant at this time. next time you grow these gens, go for it. if you try it now, you'll see what i'm talking about. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Chocolates1390 Day 57- Finally I'm back home, now I can take some good pictures and maybe get helped with those babies. I see that some leafs are yellowish, I don't if they are getting that color because they need more nutrients or if they are because they are old. I would like to get helped here please, I don't know what I'm doing wrong (well it's a little hard for me because I'm 15 days out of house for working) but I want to get those babies beauty and well feeded to get the "best" production, I know that I've committed a lot of errors, and the planta have suffered a lot with the rain and the wind ( typical outdoors problems). For my next grow I will put some plastic or something to get the plants out of the rain, but at the moment they will stay like that, without anything, just sun+rain+wind+nutrients. I have read that is wrong let the plants get the rain on the flowering stage, but here, January is the driest month of the year, so I think that that will be good, because I will have like 30 -35 more days before harvesting ( or that's what I think) Well, thank you so much for read and follow my diary I'll be so grateful if any of you can help me with the problem that I think I have. Happy grow for everyone

Hello everyone! As this is my first grow idk how i'm doing so i have doubts, how much time do you think that the plant needs to be harvested ? I was thinking on 90 to 100 days and I see that my flowers are very skinny yet, and I would like to get them a little bit bigger.

Your best way to know when to harvest would be watch the trichomes. When the trichomes are clear they are not ripe and filled with cannabinoids. When they are completely cloudy they are at peak thc levels. After that thc starts to break down and the trichomes amber up. Causing a more sedative narcotic effect. All depending on your desired effects would be ur cloudy to amber ratio to harvest at. You can get a good look at the trichomes starting at about 30x magnification but most choose the 40x route. A cheap jewelers loupe can be bought off Amazon or Ebay for under 10 $ that will surely do the trick. Good luck with your harvest. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Chocolates1390 Hello everyone! Today I've got some pictures from my plants, at the moment I'm far away from them, but my mother is doing her best to take care of my babies. As the last update I see like there are some problems on the plants, I don't know what could be, because i'm a little far away from home.... :( For example on the sister 2 I see that the green it's getting pale, like 2 or 3 days ago she did a defoliation but it seems that it needs a hard defoliation, what do you think ? I think that these babies need to use the energy on the flower and not anymore on the leafs, this friday i will return home and I will apply the corrections that you give me, but please, tell me anything. This is my first ever grow and I don't know so much what I need to do. Another important thing, I was thinking on start flushing them on wednesday (as the babies have like 2 more weeks of life or that is what i think) If I start it on wednesday (Jan 8th) they will get like 14 days of only water, but if you tell me to add any kind of nutes i think that i can start the flush the saturday. Please, help me, I would like to get the best quality buds on my grow, i know that i've commited a lot of mistakes, but that's new knowledge that i know already for my next grows!! Thanks so much for the attention. Have nice grows and good harvest everyone to is following my diary. Ps: They aren't the best pictures of the world, but my mom isn't a professional, me neither but....

Chocolates1390 Hello guys!!! I see your comments on the question that I've made the last week, you said the this one require like 2 or 3 more weeks, but there is a "problem" today i went to the garden with a little macro lens for phones, and guess what ? I found a lot of amber trichomes, and that made me think a lot in some possibilities. The main one is, there's any possibility that the trichomes get burnt by the sun ? Because I see some amber trichomes but low milky trichomes, i think they are more clear (maybe my macro is too bad to see that) But if the amber comes after the milky, then I already have milky trichomes. If there's any possiblity that the trichomes could get burnt, then i will let my babies 2 o 3 more weeks, if not, i will cut my plants tomorrow. I require help of the most experienced people here please @FREE_HONGKONG @dinafemseeds @416fireman Anyways, I'm so happy with all the growing process, for the upcoming ones will take a lot more care of my plants, want to try to make like a little greenhouse to protect my plants from the rain and measure variables like pH and EC to have a correct feed time. On this grow I used mainly organic nutes, made by my own. For the next one i think i will buy something better and look on the complements for bud explosioon and all that stuff. I think i will back on 3 months. By the way i will be checking to see your comments and know if my doubt its true or false EDIT 01: Hey, I've cutted my plants on monday 13th, I'm already drying them, the next week (maybe the next wednesday) I'll start the curing, I need to show you my pictures!

Well, here we have the awesome Moby Dick XXL Auto, I give them 8/10 because as this is my first ever grown i don't know so much other strains and at the moment is my favourite but it is because i haven't tasted anything like that before, maybe in the future i will find some good strains too. This is a very recommended strain for the people that is starting growing, mine have flowered a little early i think, only 73 days required from seed, i have seen that other growers got like 90-100 days, I think that with all that time I would get fatten those flowers. This strain is very resistant, they suffered a lot with me lol As I growed them outdoors they get a lot of rain during November and half December, I remmeber one day that they were hitted by ice hahaha so I think that for all those reasons they are a super strong strain and would recommend it for all the people that want a fast outdoors grow. Also for the people that lives in Colombia, I think this strain is too good and easy to grow, you won't be dissapointed if you start with this. My english is not perfect, but i tried to do my best updating my diary here! Thank you so much @dinafem for the support and this awesome strain. I will be growing more on July!

Chocolates1390 Well, this is my end for now. I'm so happy as this has been my first grow, don't pay a lot of attention on the numbers, i don't have a weighing machine so i don't know what are the exact numbers, anyway i tried to aproximate them. Maybe if you can help me with an aproximate i would apreciate it! I've got a total of 6 complete 750cc Jar and 3/4 from the 7th one. You have more experience than me an maybe can correct me . Those numbers correspond to all the weight that i've got from 4 plants, as you can see there is a strange plant there, that was a mutant one that i was growing with the moby dick, idk what strain is, so I won't do any report of that, just posted the pictures because i liked them. As you can see all my grow was super cheap, I didn't used special lights or special nutrients, i never measured the ph and the EC but thos things paid me a lot, for the next grows I know that get the right measures is the best for growing cannabis, control they way they feed is essential. As I said before, i made a lot of mistakes that make that the plants didn't become XXL they wer like 60-80cm i just let them grow, i didn't use LST or something like that, just defoliate some times the yellow leafs. I want to say thank you to all the people that helped me during the grow, i think that my plants wouldn't made it if you didn't help me, thank you so much! Thanks to the growdiaries community! I just tried a little from the production and it was fantastic, i think that all the love that i have putted on the grow was returned on that smoke. I enjoyed a lot that woody taste. It's super nice. Will edit maybe in 2 months after a good cure is done.
