Day 0-
Checked on both seeds in their jiffy pellets around noon. Both were trying to pop the top soil of the pellets. Will probably transfer them to their final pots soon. Both seeds poking their head out at 9pm.
Day 1-
Transferred both seeds to their final pots (10 parts Ocean Forest to 10 parts perlite with 5tbs of powdered dolomite lime) and watered both plants evenly with a 1/4 gallon each.
Day 2-
No adjustments. Plants seem to have taken a good adjustment to being "transplanted". I think I'll use the peat pellets from now on. 👍 The plants will be differentiated by the colors pink and green. Also these are 5 gallon, one time use pouches, from Rootpouch.
Day 3-
No adjustments plants will receive their next watering most likely on day 5.
Day 4-
No adjustments plants will be watered tomorrow.
Day 5-
Watered around each seedling with around a 1/4 gallon of water.
Day 6-
No adjustments.
Day 7-
End of week 1! Both plants are doing very well. Doing the seeds in peat pellets then transferring to soil, I see about the same growth as I did with my previous germination method, but this one is more fool proof and well until I do more research, it's been 100% success for me. So I will continue using these for germination methods.
Day 8-
Start of week 2! No adjustments.
Day 9-
Watered each plant with around 1/4 gallon of pH adjusted water. I also started doing a little bending on the main stalk of each plant to strengthen it up a little bit before I start LST in the next week or so.
Day 10-
No major adjustments. Pink marker has a very weird leaf mutation, but looks healthy otherwise.
Day 11-
These girls are doing really well, so I may start LST a bit earlier than I normally do. Did a little bit of bending on both plants.
Day 12-
No major adjustments. When I water both plants tomorrow I will probably start LST.
Day 13-
Watered each plant with about a 1/2 gallon of water. Also began LST on both plants. It could be the strain, but it seems like these plants are farther along than I normally am around this same time. Then again, it could be the Root Pouches.
Day 14-
End of week 2! No major adjustments.
Day 15-
Start of week 3! No major adjustments.
Day 16-
I realized now, I started LST too early. I removed tie downs on both plants. It's not that the plants weren't doing good, it's the fact that the sites are getting to close to the ground (for when I water). I'd rather see the plant gain a little more vertical height, then I can start bending. You live and you learn!
Day 17-
Watered each plant with about a 1/2gal each. Water was dosed with CalMag Plus 1.5ml/gal. Once plants get a little taller I will restart LST.
Day 18-
No major adjustments.
Day 19-
Restarting LST on both plants again since they've gained just that little bit of vertical height I was looking for. These plants will look with how the main stem was LST SO early lol. But, I'm sure I'll still have a successful harvest if not by flower, at least I know now lesson learned.
Day 20-
Minor LST adjustments. Plants will receive their first dose of Fox Farm nutes tomorrow. Plants are 23" below lights.
Day 21-
LST SADNESS. While trying to bend the Green plant, I snapped it's main cola. I rushed quickly to find some scotch tape, any other time I wouldn't have had any...but Christmas ya' know. So I taped her up and hope she will recover. Even if she doesn't recover I'm hoping that since it's early in the life cycle of this plant, maybe she will heal fine or bounce back even stronger 💪 guess we'll have to see! I also gave each plant a 1/2 gallon until runoff. Water was dosed with 1 3/4tsp of Big Bloom and 3/4tsp of Grow Big per gallon.
Day 22-
Start of week 4! We'll see if Green Marker ends up recovering from my LST mishap last week. She looks good so far, so fingers crossed. Since I sort of messed up LST on these plants, I'm going to have more than likely be stuck with the "Christmas tree" figure. Merry Christmas right? 😂 I'm hopeful that when they start preflowering, that I can manage the branches well enough to try and achieve a better yield. For now I'm just trying to tuck leaves to expose more potential flowering sites.
Day 23-
Leaf tucking adjustments.
Day 24-
No major adjustments.
Day 25-
Watered both plants with almost 3/4 gallon each until runoff. Water was dosed with CalMag Plus at 2ml/gal. LST adjustments on Pink Marker.
Day 26-
No major adjustments. It looks like Green Marker will end up recovering.
Day 27-
LST adjustments on both plants.
Day 28-
End of week 4! Leaf tucking and LST adjustments on both plants.
Day 29-
Start of week 5! Watered both plants with about 3/4 gallon till runoff. Water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom and 3/4tsp of Grow Big. Leaf tucking and LST adjustments.
Day 30-
Minor LST and leaf tucking adjustments on both plants.
Day 31-
Leaf tucking adjustments. While the Green Marker survived, it is significantly less bushy than Pink Marker. Now it could be different phenos...but I did snap the main top on Green Marker and though like I said it recovered, it was definitely slowed down by the mishap. 😢
Day 32-
No major adjustments.
Day 33-
Watered both plants with almost 3/4 gallon until runoff. Water was dosed with CalMag Plus at 2ml/gal. LST and leaf tucking adjustments.
Day 34-
Did some light bending on Green Marker.
Day 35-
End of week 5! No major adjustments and no pics unfortunately.
Day 36-
Start of week 6! Plants look like they are suffering light burn so I bent tops down to get them farther away from lights and also raised the lights so they are now 22" above canopy. They were originally maybe 18" above canopy.
Day 37-
Watered each plant with 3/4 gallon until runoff. The transition to flowering nutes has begun. Each gallon of water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/2tsp of Grow Big, and 1/8tsp of Tiger Bloom. These ladies may get a couple inches taller but I think they've pretty much stopped their stretching. Green Marker seems to have nute burn or light burn like I thought. The Pink Marker shows no sign of stress, but both plants look considerably happier with the light adjustment from last night. I'll continue to monitor them closely.
Day 38-
No major adjustments. No pics.
Day 39-
No major adjustments. Flower sites are slowly starting to populate with plenty of pistils.
Day 40-
No major adjustments. I think they have finally reached their peak height and they are resting 18" below the light.
Day 41-
Watered each plant with 3/4 gallon till runoff. Water was dosed with CalMag Plus at 2ml/gal. There will be one more dose of CalMag Plus and then I will cut it out of my nutrients schedule.
Day 42-
End of week 6! Even though some mistakes were made early on they're still trucking along 😊
Day 43-
Start of week 7! No major adjustments besides kind of readjusting everything in the tent. These both I think we're the same phenotype just the Green Marker one got off to a bad start with me snapping the main cola in half while attempting a very rough LST. Lesson learned lol. Both plants are well on their way to forming their flower sites. This is always the exciting time.
Day 44-
No major adjustments, no pics.
Day 45-
Watered each plant with roughly 3/4 gallon until runoff. Water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/2tsp of Grow Big, and 1/8tsp of Tiger Bloom. Besides minor tip burning starting out, I feel like I may have found my groove with these nutrients and setup.
Day 46-
No major adjustments.
Day 47-
No major adjustments.
Day 48-
No major adjustments.
Day 49-
End of week 7! Watered each plant with 3/4 gallon until runoff. Water was dosed with CalMag Plus at 2ml/gal. This is the last dose of CalMag Plus now that we're getting closer to harvest.
Day 50-
Start of week 8! Both plants are slowly but surely populating each branch with flower sites. It's exciting to be able to have real genetics and a variety to smoke/grow from.
Day 51-
No major adjustments.
Day 52-
No major adjustments.
Day 53-
Watered each plant with 3/4 gallon until runoff. Water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/2tsp of Grow Big, and 1/4tsp of Tiger Bloom. Also made adjustments to Green Marker's heavier branches.
Day 54-
No major adjustments. First orange pistil sighting!
Day 55-
No major adjustments.
Day 56-
End of week 8! No major adjustments. When I harvest one of my Amnesia Haze's in a few days, I will be able to spread them out a bit as I was pretty lazy on LST with them this grow. The AH plant is extremely squat and bushy so having her out of the tent will be nice for a few days till I get more babies in for the perpetual setup. Overall. Stoked for the next few weeks. As this plant will most likely go towards 90 days so I can stay on my schedule of 2 new plants every 30 days.
Day 57-
Start of week 9! Watered each plant with 1/2 gal of pH balanced water until runoff.
Day 58-
No major adjustments besides finally spreading plants out now that the first Amnesia Haze is harvested. I still haven't decided how many more nute waterings she will receive before I cut her off before harvest.
Day 59-
No major adjustments.
Day 60-
Watered both plants with 3/4gal until runoff. Water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/4tsp of Grow Big, and 1/4tsp of Tiger Bloom. I also tied up branches on both of the plants that were getting to heavy.
Day 61-
No major adjustments.
Day 62-
No major adjustments.
Day 63-
End of week 9! No major adjustments.
Day 64-
Start of week 10! Watered both plants with 3/4gal until runoff of pH balanced water. I also tied up more branches towards the main stem since they were getting heavy.
Day 65-
No major adjustments. MY CHIEFS WIN THE SUPER BOWL!!!
Day 66-
No major adjustments, plants will receive no more nute waterings now that some of the fan leaves are starting to yellow. They will be fed pH balanced water from here on out until harvest.
Day 67-
No major adjustments. Colas are looking mighty fine 🔥🔥🔥 and sparkly. Now just to hold out as long as I can. I want to see both em fat and chunky 😍
Day 68-
Watered each plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Pink Marker will be harvested before Green Marker, whenever that is. Pink marker is already showing discoloration on certain leaves. Green Marker's leaves are all still Green and healthy.
Day 69-
No major adjustments.
Day 70-
End of week 10! No major adjustments. Pink Marker will be harvested on day 71, as her leaves are yellowing and I've picked a handful off the past few days and fed to the doggo.
Day 71-
Start of week 11! Pink Marker was harvested today as she has been shedding leaves like crazy after they've yellowed off. Hoping Green Marker I can push a little longer since she's not ready yet. I'd love to see how much of a difference letting her go longer will make compared to her sister.
Day 72-
Watered Green Marker with a full gallon of pH balanced water until runoff. Just a waiting game now to wait for her to start yellowing. She hasn't shown any discoloration as of now, unlike her sister did toward the end.
Day 73-
No major adjustments.
Day 74-
I placed Pink Marker into jars and she weighed 40.7g dry. Not as big of a yielder as previous strains but the buds look 🔥. Plus it puts me over my average that I need of 1oz per plant every 30 days. I grow two at the same time 30 days a part to meet my monthly consumption of 2oz a month. No major adjustments.
Day 75-
More leaves have started to yellow and fall off. But she sure is taking her time to finish up. Probably will harvest this weekend.
Day 76-
Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. She will definitely be harvested this weekend when I get the time. She's really fattened up and put on some crystals. I did have to cut one branch off as it was snapped off due to weight and had already dried a little bit compared to fresh buds on plant.
Day 77-
End of week 11! Well she really did yellow overnight. I'll be harvesting her on day 78. I will post an update for the harvest in a few days when I get the final tallys!
