This season on the Walking Veg - Tyreese's Story. This season I'm doing a freebee grow. 3 different free strains. Tyreese (707 Truthband), Andrea (White Widow) and Dale (Delahaze). Growing in FFOF but will switch to coir/perlite when I transplant.
So far, so good. I started germinating Tyreese 3 days after the other two. I had a Glueberry OG that failed to germinate, so I started the 707 Truthband.
Transplanted to a 3 gallon pot filled with coir and perlite with a two inch layer of clay pellets on the bottom to help keep the roots out of the run off.
I feel like I'm flipping a little early based on their current size, but I'm concerned about the stretch and space constraints. I had height issues with my last grow and I'm trying to avoid that this time.
So I had a terrible mishap while changing out the bulb to hps. The glass shattered as I was sliding it back into place and gave my plants the chopped salad treatment. All 3 plants were flat with all of the broken glass on them. I lost a few leaves and branches that got lopped off. I thought it was the end, but they're all recovering nicely now.
Filling in very nicely. Very thick masses of pistils. Also, very leafy buds so far. It's like leaf on top of leaf on these buds. Trimming may not be easy.
Holidays got a little busy for me. I didn't have time to post. My apologies. Tyreese looking very healthy, albeit a bit on the short side. Very leafy buds. A lot of dark purple and a little red showing. I intentionally allowed the temps to drop into the 50s to get some neat colors. Very pretty buds.

Happy Harvest Day!

I had a very pleasant experience growing Tyreese. I would definitely grow again. I just love the colors. Did very well in coir/perlite. I gave her a liter of water every other day. Very strong smoke based on my small sample. I will post the dry weight in a few more days.
