I have been using 100% distilled water with 2 foliar feeds with rhizotonic a week I will continue that regimen this week and then begin adding nutrients slowly to my waterings next week.
Day 16- Things are looking great still. Growing like little monsters
Day 17- Watered with tap water PHed to 6.2 instead of distilled water. Foliar fed with Rhizotonic, 21%RH and pretty hot at 82F right before lights out
Day 19- Watered thoroughly with PH'd tap water (6.5 ph/ 77F/ 31% RH)
Day 21- First nutrient feed with nectar for the gods advanced line and did foliar spray right before lights out
It is advised not to use boveda to reduce the humidity whilst curing.
It has been found that these packs can take away some of the taste & aroma. IME I’ve noticed difference.
Plus the big pack can do like 6oz I think. You should replace with small packs...
However if you’re bud is already dried to lower than the packs humidity the advice is to then leave it in there for a week without opening the jars as the product has been over-dried before cure, this is the time to add boveda62.
@PharmaZ,
Hey man! I really appreciate your advice regarding the Boveda packs.
Shortly after I posted these photos I replaced the small jars to over sized mason jars that held the full amount for each plant. I was waiting on my amazon order so all I had was smaller jars at that moment!
My go to practice for curing is to over dry my buds like you mentioned and then use the boveda to add back humidity due to how dry the climate I live in is. I usually let my buds sit without burping for 3-4ish days and then begin burping twice a day for 3 weeks. I used the small bovedas in the past and I actually like using these bigger ones even though I fill my jars with 3-4 oz and not 6 oz like you recommended.
I don't think I'm loosing aroma/flavor due to the boveda because the final aroma and flavor on my bud after curing is "usually" great! I have other strains curing that have also retained their dank smell while using boveda. I think my aroma issues with My GDP A pheno stemmed from genetics since the plant itself never actually smelt dank so therefor I could never extract new dank smells and flavors during the cure. I actually really like the taste now its the aroma I was somewhat let down with.
@Fuzzbird, Which picture are you talking about? in what week also. I don't see any photo revealing information like that (also im a dude sooo 😑) . I appreciate the heads up but a direct message would have been a better option than openly making it known on my page for others to see.
Came here looking for results with the SF2000, your buds look wonderful and dense. I’m using one now but I guess I didn’t have it close enough... will be experimenting with this light.
The “results” I’ve been seeing has been compared to 400w HPS, what do you think?
@PharmaZ,
Thanks so much man I appreciate it!
I had my SF2000 12 inches away around 202w for most the flowering for this run. I noticed slight light burn on other plants but this GDP ate up that light and spat out some huge dense nugs!
I use this in a 3x3 and it works beautifully . recommended coverage area is 2x4 but 3x3 works great also. I don't think id use this in a 4x4 though. I believe it gives me similar results I would see running a 400w HPS in a 3x3 for sure but as far as max coverage I think the HPS light will cover a 4x4 a little better but im saving money using the sf2000! The light penetration is great with these Sprider Farmer LEDS in my 3x3 though!!💪👍
@Dawg03, seedsman does direct shipping and MSNL depending what country you are in! super easy. MSNL takes about 2 weeks to get seeds after purchase to the US and Seedsman about a month. Hope this helps man!
Those are the plants of my dreams. Autos seem to make different phennos. Large mix of genetic s. Nice yield . Beautiful plants. Your description of the flavours entice me to give this strain a try.
