This week I did massive defoliation, I am not sure if it was the right choice as it definitely seems to slow down the growth this week yet the plant seems accepted it properly.
Plant looks good & started feeding her extra PK with very small dosage at the beginning as I previously had issues with nutes burn and really want to mitigate this issue.
What I really don't like so far is the curling tips, This been showing with me since veg, for me it seems like nitrogen toxicity coupled with nute burn. I also stopped all kind of nutes till the plant show some progress.
Till this moment I can see curling tips and really need feedback regarding this issue, what shall I do with it? is it harmful or shall I keep it like that? Shall I add more 0-5-4 Bloom nutes to help with growing buds or will it be stressful?
Why do I see those curling tips? I identified them as Nitrogen toxicity coupled with Nute burn, but flushing didn't fix the problem since Veg and I still can see them appearing in new grows.
I want to add extra 0-5-4 nutes to help the overall growth of buds, shall I do it?
When you have dark green leaves and the leaves that are clawing on the tips then you have a Nitrogen excess ( the same symptom on the leaves without the dark green means something else ).
So the Claw will not disappears as they are now the new shape of the plant so they can recover from the nitrogen excess but will keep the clawing on the tips.
You idea is not the best , I mean you wanna add extra nutrients to counterbalance the nitrogen with PK but you are not lowing your N amount ( which is causing your excess ) . When you have an excess you flush , check the runoff ph and ec/ppm to have an idea of the nutrients amount and then you add extra nutrients : remove before you add for an excess and add more than you remove for a deficiency
Can you please have a look and tell me how long you think is left before harvest?
This is Amnesia Haze, as far as I know it needs 10~11 weeks in flower, do you think I am on track?
What can I do to push buds development? currently PPM 1200, running off 1300
@sameh Hi there my friend I think it could be very close to being ready I would finish the current week your in and chop her down
Happy harvesting mate 🙏
In my Opinion there is nothing you can do to boost her. To me she looks quite dry and hot. So i would check her often to watch out for signs of getting hermie. To me the trichomes look cloudy , what do you say....? trichomes are the signals for harvest. If you have cloudy trichomes,,, well its time to chop her .
In this stage of grow, i see no big potentuial to boost her. Just make clear that she gets enough to drink, you can feed her kelp to get clear with the heatstress she has
@sameh,if the trichomes are like you say, then its harvestttime. And its a first grow and you get a harvest . that i more than many firsttimers have^
I was reading your diary and did not understand why she is so small.
One thing i have seen was a 20-20-20 feeding and that is way to heavy for a small plant....
go with a mj growing soil, get some quality seeds,
invent in organic nute pack... and here we go
@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks for your input. well i do have intensive sun in the morning which can reach 400lux, but I never let her dry, usually I water her every 3 days with 1 ltr of water + nutes and as you can see I have a big pot which keeps the water for sometime.
I agree the trichomes look cloudy and some of them amble, but is it enough now? wont it grow any bigger if I leave her 1 week or 2?
I am trying to understand what I did wrong in order to mitigate it in next grow, its my first grow anyway and I am not growing the easiest strain I would say :D
