Thank you FASTBUDS for letting me be a tester of your new stuff, this one is FF 5 and the seed was placed in a root riot cube which was sprayed with a clonex 1 teaspoon per gal water then a I used a clear bag with a corner cut to cover the cube. the lights are on 24hrs to make heat as it is winter here. the story will start once the seedling shows. for now we wait. This is the last one out of the tester that popped. so the race has begun.
so the seed took 4 days to pop. not bad since it was the only seed I tried. now I wait.
she popped her shell at about 4 days and I was afraid she was not going to. the fast buds people say this is a mostly Indica with a flowering time of 42 days or about 6 weeks so all together 11 weeks from seed. she was put in a root riot cube watered with 1 teaspoon of clonex in 1 gal water. when she came up I put her in a 6x6x6 rockwool cube with 1 teaspoon of extreme gardening mycos. she is a runt but I am sure she will catch up to the others. until next week.
she is almost 8 inches. she will get a mix of coc in a 3 gal fabric pot in a few days. I need big strong roots. otherwise she is the runt of the batch that I am testing for fastbuds. great stuff.
so far so good. she liked her feed and looks like she is happy. I am curious as I think I know what this strain is and I am waiting to see if I am right. her growth pattern and small smell are familiar some how. I was worried about that spot on the first leaf on the bottom but I am not any longer as this looks like the shell of the seed stayed on too long. in all she looks much better and I can not wait to see. I will flip her to flower here soon
she has huge fan leaves is all I know she has been pinched to help the game of catch up, other wise waiting for things to pop. been in the 12/12 for one week. ready for take off?
still up and going she is in flower but I am not seeing much going on but bushy stuff. will do some defoliation later on her soon. other wise looking good
I have ran out of the beastie bloomz I use and have started to use the house and garden aqua flakes b with theier bud xl and there root stuff in the gold can. I also add cal/mag, she has been on this feed for about 5 days and so far looks happy. she is getting lots of light and I water her/feed her about every two days. other wise normal growth going on. seeing the flowering sites turning into buds is really nice. third week in flower and I am happy. until next week,
she is up and starting to get some frost going. she is a 42 day flowering time mostly Indica, she is real sticky and has a nice smell. I started her on just cha ching until next week then just water for her.
she has been on a flush now for almost a week. she looks real frosty and is nice and sticky and has a strong smell. I did cut a small bud to try and I am not sure as the bud was not all the dry. but seemed ok. will know more when I smoke the cured bud later. she is in her 5th week of flower or 35 days in. they say she is ready in 42 days of flowering so I have been keeping my eye on the tris
she is still up but I may chop her soon as I do not have anything to smoke. I am doing my best to keep her going. she is at 42 days in flower and according to fastbuds she is ready at 42 days in flower. they are right with the time people, you can chop her. her trichomes are milky and full and I am sure for some that time will do. I myself like to see about 50% amber tris, but like I said I may have to take her down. she has been on a water diet for 3 weeks now so I know she is clean. she is sticky amd dank, I can not wait to see how she taste and her effects. so maybe one more week?
she is chopped and hanging. I took her down at day 46 of flower. she is not a super yielder but she is a heavy Indica smoke and is very nice body and heavy high, very enjoyable. wet I got 133 grams, trimmed and jarred 31 grams. still not bad. she grew small from the start, you could see the Indica, small and good for gorilla grows. she grows really sticky so keep an eye on the smell. from the start of this she took a few days longer to get going than the other testers. she can up on day five from seed. she got a nice 5 week veg time and stayed small. she went into flower with no problem and gained a few inches in flower but still remanded small because of the genes. she frosted up starting in the third week, and as the flowers grew so did the trichomes. she is real sticky starting around the fourth week as well as the heavy smell. again the smell needs to be watched. I did not have to do to much with this one just let her grow. I pinched her a few times during veg and a few in flower. when I say pitched I should say twisted and pinched the top down so the side branches could catch up and also build the side branches and flower sites up. you could increase yield by a 5 gal a good 8 week veg and a net. I had fun with this and will have a smoke report next week on this one. I also was able to get a nice fade of yellows light green and some purples going. real hard to get photos of.
the start was kind of slow about 5 days for the seed to pop, I was kind of worried but soon after she came up. she grew short like most indicas do, she started to frost up in her 3rd week of flowering, her frost continued to coat her buds while they where getting fatter and denser. she started to smell real nice around the 4th week so if smell is a factor u will want to get a carbon filter. she is sticky and dank, real strong smell. she is not a big producer but you could increase yields by putting a net on her as well as a bigger pot, 5 gals. and let her go. I did not top her as I was unsure how this strain would re act. she grows pretty bushy around the 5th week in and you may want to defoliate in the first 2 weeks in flower. she was not much of a drinker, about every other day. the germination was good as I only popped 1 out of 3 so I have 2 more to work with later. I probably will grow this strain again as she was easy and with little effort I got a ounce of some dank dens buds. I do kick myself for not running 1 more of the seeds but I am happy with the weed I have. I have more weed today than I did the other day. big thanks @fastbuds for letting me do some testing. the fades of purple light green and yellows made my day.
