Got the beans in from @Fastbuds! Super excited to try this plant out. I've been following a few other growers on their takes of this strain, so I'm excited to see the result of trying my hand at it! Much love to @Fastbuds for giving me this opportunity to test them! I've paper toweled 2 seeds and one has popped. Plain water through mistings for the first couple weeks.

Always love these first few weeks, so simple :-) Just got a new grow tent on Tuesday. The dimensions are 3x3x6. I guess I can finally emerge from the realm of microgrowery and finally become a normal grower lol. For ref. My current tent is 2x2x4. That extra height is what's holding my grow yields back. Should have it up in the next week, gotta make space in my garage for it .. ugh. Cheers all and Happy growing! Happy holidays as well 💙

The ratios are scaled up. I basically took a water bottle and filled it with an 1/8th of the recommended nutrient dosage(2.5 ml Big Bloom/ 1/8th gallon). Just to get her acquainted with it.

So this is why they call them Fastbuds hmmmm..... She's developing Quickly! Very pleased with her day-to-day progress. At this point, she's growing a node per day. Not planning on doing Any training except LST. Check my Northern Lights Auto, I'm going to be training this girl the same way I trained that one. I'm really excited for flower as this is my first time growing a genetically purple strain. I really want to cheese this grow with min. Nutes and mostly Calmag/molasses feedings. I'm going to be doing her nutes according to the schedule (Fox Farm Soil Feed Schedule). As of right now I'm feeding at an 1/8th of 1/3rd rec. Nutrient dosage. This week I'm scaling up to 1/4 of 1/3. I will likely not feed much higher than 1/3 the rec. Dosage. But again, I'm novice and mostly playing it by ear. Cheers all one love! 🙌 Happy New Years and may the grow be with you 😎🔥

Light fell on her when i accidentally bumped into my tent :(. Luckily she was only damaged above her third node. Topped her and crossing my fingers the damage wasnt too bad in the root space. She was completely on her side when i opened the tent. My other girl essentially got an early start on lst with how the light landed on her. I think they'll be okay though. Feeding her really low-dose nutes this week. Pretty much the whole Fox Farm trio at about 1/4 of 1/3 rec. strength. As a side note, i peek in every 4 or so hours to mist her with bottled water mixed with Calmag plus.

Doing a very moderate flux/mainline on her due to circumstances provided during prior weeks... Hoping to see some pistils within the next 10 days. Topping her may have stifled her development a little bit. But her light green, happy foliage tells me she'll carry on just fine! Excited to see if I'll get a purple pheno, so come on flower!! Cheers everybody! I pray you all start your grow year off strong! Dont forget mykos - to all my soil growers! That stuff is no joke and your plants roots will thank you for it with robust growth.

Actually kind of glad the light fell on her two weeks back - right before flower and you can tell she's about to bush out. I've been diligently defoliating and tying her down at each developing node. Every day i seem to be greeted by new growth. In other words, she responds great in high stress situations! I may top my new Purple Lemonade purposefully since this one responded so well. Not much else to say... God speed fellow growers!!

Found thrips on a few of her leaves last week. Ive been treating her with neem oil since then. Haven't seen any this week. She seems rather slow getting into flower. But i really love her shape, prepped to blow up in height.

So i think @Easygrower is onto something. She's definitely behind (growth-wise) where she should be. I have two theories as to the mistakes that could have generated these results. 1.) Topped too early and at all.(not all autos respond with vigorous growth post-topping) 2.) Pesky fungus gnats and thrips (I've been having an unspoken war with these buggers for the past 5 weeks).... I've heard thrips (a.k.a leafminers) have a toxin they release upon chewing the leaves of plants, that hinders growth. I'm really leaning toward that being the case given that growth rate didn't really slow down until around when i started noticing them/ the fungus gnats. Either way, i have a solution. Im going to be hitting all of my plants with triple action neem oil. REALLY strong stuff. Going to be applying twice per day. Once when i wake up, and right before bed. Had to use this stuff during my second-to-last cycle with outstanding results. If she winds up staying rather squat, i will likely move her outdoor as it's about to be spring where i live. So it wouldn't hurt her. Im going to start a new Zkittlez Auto in her place if that occurs. Gotta keep the perpetual, well, perpetual. Aside from the slow growth rate from this girl, all of my other plants are doing awesome. Cheers everyone - and for all my Cali growers- outdoor season soon!! Woot!!

Her lemonade scent is starting to show through! Smells like the sweetest cup of pink lemomade. Im going to wait a week or two before letting her finish up outside as it's really windy still. Still spraying with neem oil twice a day. Working perfectly. Cheers, everyone, and as always - have a blessed grow!

So I began flushing her last week on monday. Flushed her once more today, and im expecting to give her the chop on thursday. Cheers everybody - it's been a real learning experience for me. I figure my second take at this strain is much better. She experienced some kind of nutrient lockout in the middle of flower. She started yellowing prematurely and started crisping on the edges of her leaves. So I laid off on nutes and gave her a top-feed of mycos and molasses water(5ml/gal). That's when i began to see recovery. Taking that knowledge, i tried just using the combination of mycos, molasses and the only all-organic fert of the FF Trio; Big Bloom on my second iteration of this strain. The results are night and day! Definitely going to use the less-is-more approach from now on with these Auto strains. Stay safe, and healthy during this pandemic guys - Bless you all 🙌

@Growlecule, I was definitely feeding with N, the Tiger Bloom and the Grow Big had a sufficient amount. The issue lies in that they are chemical fertilizers and my setup is more oriented toward an organic grow. I should have just used the Big Bloom because of the organic ingredients. As I didn't have an organic source of N at the beginning of the grow, I decided to just use the Tiger Bloom + Grow Big along with mycos, big bloom, and molasses. I have a second Purple Lemonade using that second formula (mycos, big bloom + molasses) and she's been completely green the whole grow. That's minus the chemical-based ferts. I've also come to find out that my Fox Farm soil is still pretty hot with nitrogen, so I tend to lay off feeding more than what the plant tells me to. Now that I've got that figured out, she's shaping up nicely toward the end. Quality-wise at least. Definitely lacking in yield. Harvesting her on day 98 from seed. Also, I 100% hear you on that point about my overpowered LED..... I've already bought a new tent, and was intending on having it up for this grow.(3ftx3ftx6ft) But I couldn't get it up quite yet, because of being sick, and spring cleaning. Thanks for stoppin' by ;) 👊🙏

@RunWithIt, hi budd! Your lights are oke now, watch for burnt tips, 600w lights @36cm will be on the edge. Your plants sufferd from this during seedling/veg stage, she is Making 3 bladed leaves only, typically stress move. Could be heath from the light, the intensity of the light. 600w on that height is almost like growing next to a supernova. Especially for little autoflowers in seedling/veg stage. Raise your lights next run and your plants love you even more😁👍 1 more thing, why did you dose bloom nutes in veg stage? First nuties should contain N for veg growth. Happy growing gromie!😁👊

@Easygrower, She's technically week 6 in veg because the first 2 weeks were in seedling stage. I will still lower the lights though. Cheers 🙌
